Wildfire Chopped Salad
Roumanian Skirt Steak
Special marinade, one of our favorites!
We love the chopped salad but this time had way to much dressing so it lost its crispness and fresh taste.
Unfortunately the server was terrible. He never filled our drinks and was so lethargic he seemed out of it. I know he was serving a party in side room but he was mumbling and not at all personable . I was taking my 90 y/o mother out for her wedding anniversary and enjoy memories about my parents. He never acknowledge it.
Just thought it was the worst service we ever had here. Our reservation was at 12:45 and very few people in restaurant by us so not too busy.
She wanted to ho to Moretti’s but I wanted to go somewhere a little nice. Even my teenage niece commented that he seemed sick or out of it.
Our waiter was very slow to asking for our order. My food was cold. Took a while after they served the food to come and check on us. He took back my order and they made a new order of coconut shrimp which was still on cool side. Even though they comped my meal I was still not happy with it.
Our dinner was pretty much ruined by gnats that we to constantly fan away from our food while we tried to eat. One even landed in my drink. It was awful.
The outdoor patio wasn’t ideal, but it was a nice night.
We had a great experience. It’s been a while since we have been to Wildfire and we were not disappointed. The food was perfection, the ambience was great and the service was excellent. Will be back again soon!
Sitting outside under the tent was very nice. Very great service & food was delicious.
Had to change seating due to kitchen noise. Only cold garlic rolls are available. Had to remind waiter it was my husband's birthday.
We always go to the Oakbrook location but since we were in the area we stopped at the Schaumburg location. Service was slow but we were ok with that because we understand places are short handed. Three of us had steaks and they were fatty and all just tasted bad. It’s the same steaks we always order at the Oakbrook location but the food quality just was not the same. Going forward we’ll just stick to the Oakbrook location.
As always, Everything was excellent. Our server, Diane, was incredible and made our dining experience perfection for our large group.
All was good but the dinner rolls. Not everyone likes onion rolls. And I guess you have to pay for the cornbread now? 🙄
Everything good as usual. Best martinis ever.
This was a wonderful experience. The food was great and the service was outstanding. A great evening
Everything was excellent, the service and the food were great !
Wildfire is usually our favorite place to enjoy great, tender steak. 3 of us got filet mignons that were terrible, mine being barely edible. It was tough and filled w/grizzle. Such a disappointment for our special family dinner. It is expensive enough to have better consistency in the meat.
This place has some amazing delicious food.
The 16oz Prime rib was simply delicious and juicy.
Clean restaurant and good vibes all around.
Our waiter was very nice however our ordered got lost in the system and waited 40 minutes for our entree. The steak was dry and fries were cold when they finally arrived. Someone apologized to us and did adjust our bill but disappointed our night out turned out like it did
After raising prices several times, cutting back on menu options, removing cornbread and pumpernickel (long ago) , and still including a covid surcharge 2 months after a full reopen, wildfire is slipping into "over-priced" territory. Still great food and service, though.
Came for my birthday with some friends and the food was absolutely incredible. Fantastic server, all around amazing
Have been to Wildfire many times & it is always good but not so much this time. My Prime rib was over cooked. I asked for medium & it was well done. I did tell my waiter & I also told him it was ok & that I would keep it. It was a busy Saturday & I know restaurants are trying to stay in business. My wife’s Halibut was a little over cooked but she still liked it. The sides are wonderful. Potatoes & creamed spinach. Salad is smaller then it used to be but I know restaurants need to cut back where they can. I still would recommend Wildfire & will definitely go back. I seem to like the Oakbrook location the best as far as food. I think they do a little better job.
Bernice, our server, provided excellent service.
The overall experience was great! Bone in rib-eye was delicious as were the appetizer & desert. The service was excellent.
This was my first time dining at the Schaumburg location, and they absolutely did not disappoint. The ambiance was perfect like any Wildfire I’ve been to. The staff was amazing, and the food was superb. I’ll definitely be going back!
Fair outdoor ambience. In parking lot but still appreciated
Our waitress Bernice was new, and we had excellent service. She also did a carryout order for me.
The server was not too attentive.
The filet That my husband orders every time we’re there was very salty.
Fabulous! Jaime’ our waiter was Excellent .
Great Food! Great Family & Friends. Great Night!
Thanks for a great meal outside in the tent. Thanks.
Food was good
Service was excellent
When you go, and I strongly recommend you eat every meal at Wild Fire from now on, you need to ask for Mary Francis as you server. Funny, professional and efficient, she made my a great meal that much better.
Always a great place to dine rather you are local or visiting.
It was great and exactly what we were looking for business dinner.
My birthday. Such a fabulous time.
It seems as though the food and the menu have changed a bit. Smaller portions. Also, the cocktails were a little disappointing.
Due to Covid, menu items have changed and the service has changed. Food is still delicious, but you may not see what you normally would on the menu and slight tweaks have been made to some items.
I love a good steak, unfortunately the porterhouse I ordered today was a bit too salty for me...so I couldn't enjoy it completely. my mom's ny strip, she asked for it to be well done, but certain parts were blackened to a crisp on 1 side. the chopped salad and mashed potatoes were delicious but the au gratin potatoes were not as cheesy this time. not the best quality this time around, a bit disappointing.
Extremely disappointed with how much of a downward spiral Wildfire has gone down. Huge Downgrade with nasty Onion rolls instead serving corn bread.
Limited dinner menu with same prices.
Wait staff was very slow with removing plates from table and serving water.
The crab cakes were disgusting and not fresh like before. Returned prime rib looked and smelled awful.
I've eaten here many times and it's always been excellent. This time, not so much. I ordered bisque, which I never received, and the strip steak sandwich was missing the cheese, and just didn't taste very good. We're also missing the salad we always ordered, and the twice baked topping for my steak. They went away with COVID and have never returned.
Always love wildfire. Just about perfect food and service. Filet trio, halibut, were outstanding. Thank you 😊
Started w/a set of dirty silverware
Took a bit for main course to arrive
Trio of filets were 1/4 in thick- like a hamburger
2 full size filets we’re ordered - both medium. 1 came out well done and the other was raw inside
Sent those back. 1 came back cooked med but taste was awful. The other one came back raw again. So that was sent back again. When that one finally came out and the other 4 of us were almost done eating- that filet was cooked ok but also was not great tasting.
VERY DISAPPOINTING dinner experience.
