Need to book at 4:45 PM?Other great restaurants with availability.
Favorite place great menu. Food prepared as ordered. We were not rushed when wanting to take a leisurely Friday lunch. Always look forward to returning
Went to Wildfire Glenview on back to back nights. Restaurant remains one of the few places you could have a different meal 7 straight days and be equally satisfied each time. The Wednesday night special, Manhattan Strip steak, is one of the best values at any upper end restaurant in the Chicago area. Brings back memories of the Spit Roasted New York strip that the restaurant featured when it first opened.
love this restaraunt
Very bad experience today . Service was awful , food was very poor quality . It was not the same wildfire i have dined at at least 100 times over the years.
My daughter told me she also had a bad experience today when she ordered pick up . My friend whom I dined with had a prime rib sandwich full of grizzle and fat and a smaller portion . We know this since this is what she always orders. Her soup was sent back , it had no flavor and it was the special soup of the day .
We also waited close to 50 minutes for our food after we told server my friend wanted her soup before her meal
. There were only 3 other tables of patrons at 1:30 and had to wait so long for the food .
Wildfire is our go to restaurant for celebrations also , but I think it’s best not to go there for an upcoming birthday celebration because of the bad experience today . Wouldn’t want to ruin a friends celebration. The manager did come over and comped our meal and said he did care and wants us to come back .
2 hours later , i have been sick with a very upset stomach .
There is something not quite right with the food , chefs and servers . I am still sick 3 hours after I left .
Hope this catches someone’s attention . And by the way , the people in the next booth said they also had bad service for the third time.
Great hostess! Great waiter. Great food. What else can be said?
Amanda was awesome - thank you
Great Food and Great Service but Overpriced at Wildfire - Glenview - We had a wonderful experience at Wildfire - Glenview. The food and service were wonderful. However, it was really pricey. We were a party of 4 and we had 2 bottles of wine for the four of us - each bottle was $50 and that was on the lower price side of the menu (individual glasses would have been more expensive than the bottle), two fish dinners - medium priced at $29, one beef wellington which a bit more expensive at $42, and a skirt steak at $32, some soup, no appetizers and no dessert. Total bill with tip was $350, or $175 per couple. That was much more expensive than I thought it would be so for that reason, we will most likely seek an alternative dining venue.
Always a great experience! Excellent food and service!
Everything was great! It was my birthday and it was a wonderful celebration with a wonderful waitress.
The duck was not good.
I would recommend Wildfire, but I would discourage ordering the chopped salad. We have ordered it for many years, and the quality continues to decline. The cheese was absent, chicken portion was small. The quality of the chicken was poor. Tasted as if it was last week's leftovers. Seasoning on the chicken was odd and heavy. The salad dressing did not meet the quality or taste we are accustomed. It was thick and heavily seasoned. In the past it was more delicate. At a minimum we will not order or recommend the chopped salad, if we return at all.
Birthday celebration. This is one of our favorite restaurants. The dining experience is consistently a pleasurable one.
We were a party of 8 who all ordered something different. Everyone was very happy with their food and drinks. Service was excellent. All servers pleasant and efficient.
Only small downside was that the table for 8 people was really small and it was hard to even find space for all the glasses and dishes.
The food is great and the service is as excellent as always. Diana is my favorite waitress. She's great, fast, and attentive.
Excellent service. Very good food. Ambiance just OK, they seated us in a back room, and this is after making a reservation 2 days in advance, and confirming our reservation the day before.
This used to be my favorite restaurant but nothing has changed in the last ten years...except the prices. If I’m going to spend over $100, it has to be amazing food or I want to feel special. Didn’t feel either. I will go back but it’s fallen down the list.
Johnathan did a good job, the restaurant was a little noisy
Server Mitch was amazing and had excellent customer service. Food was outstanding
Consistently great food and service.
Being frequent guests of the restaurant for several years, in that the menu offerings have not changed very much, it would be great if Wildfire could offer more vegetarian options. Under sandwiches, perhaps Avocado Toast with Poached Eggs (or optional egg type), veggie bowl, and like. For fish, “wild salmon” should be considered given all the health concerns about farm raised salmon. Need more healthy options.
Good, but not great overall.
The server was not attentive and the noise level made it difficult to hear the person next to you - the food was delicious
Everything was great. A bit busy but it was a Friday night so that’s to be expected. Appreciate the attentiveness to dietary restrictions !!
Our server and busboys were great. The kitchen was very slow. It's too loud anywhere in the restaurant. It would be nice to have a buffer by the front doors to keep the cold from the customers.
Wife and had a nice dinner with no munchkins climbing all over her 😎
Slow service at the bar tables, but we moved to the bar counter and the service was excellent!
Excellent food and service
Always the best waiter, attentive and knowledgeable and delicious food, cannot get any better!
Good food. Thank you.
just a very nice place to eat and drink with family and friends
Wildfire is consistently great. Everyone is our party enjoyed their meals immensely. Only downside is, if you
are vegetarian, your options are more limited. I usually go for the giant baked potato which is, in fact, giant and perfectly baked. Had daily special green beans almandine made with Marona almonds-- delish and the old standby yummy comfort food -- creamed spinach. Dining companions had steak medallions perfectly done, a cod special, and scallops -- all raved. Service was outstanding!
