The restaurant provided a private room for us (without us requesting one) to celebrate my husband's birthday. This also eased any anxiety we felt about eating indoors. Our server, Dominic, was fantastic and truly added value to our experience.

Service was outstanding. The mahi-mahi was delicious. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal- medallions, steak sandwich, and chopped salad. The sides of mushrooms and mashed potatoes had excellent flavors. The cosmos were made well too.

$9.00 for a Dewars scotch and splash of soda, each one tasted more like soda than Dewars. Check had a service charge of around $8 or $9 dollars; I asked why; server said service charge for me using a credit card. The server took it off but should of never been on there. I'm sure a $350.00 tab has their credit card service charge covered especially watered down drinks that cost me $27.00 for three drinks. Food was great, portions were perfect and waiter was excellent, very knowledgeable and good conversation but nickel and diming at this quality of restaurant is wrong; needs to stop.

Everything was perfect with the exception of the au gratin potatoes, the side was not hot, they were actually less than room temperature. Not a big deal but we always have high expectations at LEYE. We will be back.

Always reliable and very enjoyable. A friendly, helpful welcome, tables comfortably spaced, and an outstanding menu. We especially like the fish specials. The back ribs are famous and the side dishes are equal to the main event. Our favorites includes creamed spinach and the sensational whipped potatoes. We will be back.

Went early at 4pm so quieter but still busy. Waiter was great my first glass of red was sour she quickly replaced it with a good one. Food is amazing
Basil Hayden Tips not to be missed
Wife had a filet one the best ever
Awesome mashed potatoes. One small disappointment was only onion rolls option (we’re anti-onion). Cherry pie was so good and excellent coffee
Glad to see they use recyclable material for take home.

My wife and three sons went to Wildfire for a retirement dinner for myself. This establishment is classic Lettuce Entertain You. The food was amazing the restaurant was super clean, our server was top-notch and I cannot wait to go back. It is nice to see that despite the fact that Wildfire has been around for several years, the place still looks brand new and the energy within suggests the same. Keep it up and stay classy.

Didn’t have the steak, and this is a steak house, so consider this when reading this review. Hats off to Wildfire for their covid protocols. We had fish and it was fine, nothing bad but not remarkable. Service was attentive and unobtrusive. Sides were uninspiring but ok. I’d go back if I was in the area but wouldn’t make a special trip to.

We were packed in like sardines for last night's dinner! No more table distancing! I was also amazed at the high prices for meat dishes. $39 for skirt steak? And it wasn't that tender either. Hopefully prices will stabilize in '22. Plus adding a 3% additional charge added to the high bill. There was no loss of customers last night so with high meat prices and the 3% charge, we'll wait awhile until we eat at Wildfire again!

We used to live in the Chicago land area about 10 years ago and we loved going to Wildfire. This experience was not up to par with anything we have ever experienced. The server was much older and not able to do his job well. It appeared that he wrote down my drink order but then when I got my drink he had placed the wrong garnish in it. I had asked for a martini with regular olives, he brought back blue cheese olives. When I told him that was the wrong order I got, he went and just changed out the olives but the blue cheese crumbles had already began to dissolve in my martini. When I got to try to go exchange it at the bar he quickly rushed to ask what the problem was and went to get the martini remade, it was wrong again but I drank it anyway because I felt bad for the older man that he couldn’t remember things well. My daughter asked for extra lemons for the calamari and instead of saying okay; he told her there were already lemons in the calamari. She said she would like some extra on the side and he never brought them. Then when my husband ordered a strip steak he heard skirt steak and that was upsetting. He was also upset that I was ordering food for my younger two kids instead of them ordering the food because he said then we won’t know where to place the food when it comes out. He was quiet rude about it. My crab cakes were okay, nothing spectacular and my potatoes were cold and undercooked. My kids salmon was perfectly cooked the 1st time but the second order was burnt. My husband had to send his steak back since he wanted the strip steak. Not to sound rude but regardless of age if you cannot do your job properly you should try to get a job within your skill set. Our entire dinner was frustrating along with a naggy guest who sat at a table nearby and kept pointing at my 5 year old for some odd reason. All we wanted was a nice NYE meal.

We had a reservation to have a nice New Year’s Eve meal. There was a table next to us that finished and left. Then a family of 5 came- . Parents- with 3 kids. There was a little girl like 4/5 yrs old who was clearly sick- Coughing, sneezing, nose, etc and not always covering mouth. We asked the mom if she was sick? She goes no, it’s allergies. Uhh ya sure!!! We quickly finished eating, put on masks to finish wine- pulling down to sip then back up. Told our waiter- He goes I know. I heard her when she came in. He told manager - he comped our wines, which was nice, but I wish they moved us or made them leave. We didn’t enjoy our meal at all which was rushed and now we are super anxious waiting to see if we develop covid symptoms.

Server was very friendly, answered all our question, took care of our special request and was prompt. The food was excellently prepared. It was also severed promptly. It was as it was before the covid shut downs. It appears that Wildfire is not hampered by the staffing problem other restaurants are facing.
