Outstanding food and service
Seated us next to the busing station. Very loud, very distracting, and very unenjoyable. Ended up leaving after the meal with a headache.
Birthday was a nice dinner
This is out 4th time going and we do enjoy it every time , we live 1hour away but it’s worth the drive
The food was outstanding as always – just confused why they did not split the dishes we are sharing as well far has always done this for us in the past. And the next problem was that we ordered a substitution with the daily special green beans instead of the vegetables and there was an up charge which we agreed to. But the serving size was about 12 green beans – no kidding!
Hard to try something new when we love our regular choices. Great service, great food. We're never disappointed.
Sean was an excellent server. The grouper and cod dishes we had we're excellent.
Been to wildfire-glenview several times and always had great service, great atmosphere and delicious food. This time we were seated almost immediately and our waiter Dominic was extremely attentive and knowledgeable on all menu items and went above and beyond to take care of us. As usual food was excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Very good! Enjoyed the martini flight and the prime rib.
It was a post Saint Valentine’s Day dinner
Always great food and service
It was my first time visiting Wildfire and it was absolutely amazing!! I would definitely recommend it to family and friends
Did not live up too expectations all the way around.
Good value for Valentine’s Day. Crab stuffed mushrooms had spinach and a light tomato broth, nice and hot.
Caesar salad needed more croutons and would be better with larger shavings of cheese. Feta crusted NY steak was a full size, 8 or 10 oz portion. Au gratin side was much smaller than we remember. Petite filet was tender and bearnaise sub for crust was lighter than expected however the tarragon was nicely pronounced. Berry crisp was much mire like gramola chunks with fresh berries, a scoop of ice cream and a strawberry sauce - tasty and crispy - just not what one would expect of that dessert name.
The service was attentive.
Their bread service that night was cute with heart shaped chocolate bread - however it was too sweet along with sweet onion crumbly bread. We much prefer the loaf of dark bread they offered years ago.
Server was awesome. Very attentive and helpful. Made the experience even better.
We have been to Wildfire several times, and we have always had a good experience. I would recommend Wildfire to anyone.
We should not have had to wait an hour to place our order.... food was great! Service not so much...
Food was excellent as always. Valentines dinner with my wife.
My husband and I went here for Valentine’s Day special. My favorite all time place. Best Filet Mignon.
Over all good. Steak was over cooked but was re ordered and made right.
Valentine's Dady dinner, special menu was great! Our server was wonderful.
Always great food and great service. Cod and fillet were delicious. Will return.
It’s our favorite restaurant for a special occasion. Great food, great service. Always.
Good not great food. Great service and great people.
Our service was excellent which is not always the case at Wildfire. Our server looked like Jan from WKRP. Ha! The ribs were a little tough but very tasty. Everything else was delicious. Nice low key early Valentine's dinner.
Unusual for two food items to
be off, but they took both off
our bill unexpectedly.
After a long wait they offered
us a complimentary appetizer,
Really loud on the evening we were there.otherwise all was good.
Wonderful food, and the bar was the best booth for noise and people watching! Our waitress was fabulous too!
Love Wildfire Glenview. The food is delicious - best chocolate cake I have ever had!
The atmosphere is perfect for whatever occasion = festive, romantic, casual, business. A superb restaurant.
Food is always wonderful. We had a great server for our pre-Valentines day dinner. My only complaint is that it is always noisy. My husband is disabled and they were very accommodating and helpful, but it's hard to carry on a conversation sometimes.
One of our favorite restaurants. Always a good meal and service.
The food and atmosphere are great. Unfortunately, our server was terrible, not nice, rarely came back to check on us, forgot our bread, I had to ask another server for coffee, generally seemed annoyed to have to serve us. It was a birthday celebration so that was a bummer.
Perfect service tasty food and half price wine! What more could one want!
Food was delicious as always. Service is always consistently good for the most part unless they are very busy... It's a lettuce entertain you restaurant, you can't go wrong...
I love going to Wildfire because I can always count on the food that I have ordered and loved to still be on the menu. I start with an Educated guess wine bottle, then have the avocado tuna appetizer, then the Mahi dinner or almond crusted cod when in season, the overcooked broccoli-the way I like it and of course mushroom caps. If we are really hungry we will also do a chopped salad. I love desserts, but they don't like my waistline, so I try my best to stay away. When I do order, its usually Key Lime Pie or something chocolaty .
Always a comfortable environment. The friendly greeting at the desk, a very solicitous waiter and the birthday dessert for my friend made it a memorable experience. A go-to for a celebration on a cold winter's day!
Good like always there
Overall, our dining experience was underwhelming. It was my wife’s birthday and I made reservations. We got there on time and had to wait at least 20 min before getting seated (not sure why I even bothered). We were seated in a high traffic area and it was super noisy. The service was slow on almost every moment of the meal (it was busy—but when the waitress is gone from the floor for over 5 min—seems odd—I used to be a waiter in my college days). The food was good but my wife mentioned how the plates looked “cafeteria style”...lump of potatoes by itself on a plate and a lonely slab of meat plopped on another scratched-up white plate. The question is—“Are you getting what you pay for?”
