Wildfire Chopped Salad
Roasted Prime Rib French Dip*
thinly sliced prime rib, au jus
Service and food were outstanding!
Steak. Filet. Mashed potatoes are good. Standard kind of steak place.
Wildfire delivers excellent food with exceptional service. Never had a bad meal or a less than wonderful experience.
Service was inattentive and unpolished. Overcooked food had to be sent back. Fries on one order were greasy, undercooked. Waited long time for food to arrive and then it barely warm. Table was not cleared after courses. We have eaten at Wildfire many times in past. It is a shell of it`s old self. Very , very disappointing.
We love Wild Fire. Go every two weeks or so for dinner. Excellent food, serve, location, and overall environment. Highly recommend!
Server was amazing
Great food and great service.
Excellent food with outstanding service.
We always go to Wildfire for dinner but went for lunch this time. Same great food and service at a lower price - we will definitely do this again!
It was our first time out to a restaurant since COVID. Our waitress was very kind and efficient. The food was delicious! It was my birthday and we received a wonderful complimentary chocolate torte to share.
We love this restaurant and it was the perfect choice for our first time back to eating out in over a year!
Wildfire has long been our place to celebrate special occasions. The food is exceptional, the ambiance is classy, but our waitperson the other night was unbelievably over the top the best! Super service, professional, and went beyond the norm as my son was celebrating his return to Colorado and new position. Couldn't have been a better place than Wildfire!!
Food was horribly expensive and not good. Steaks were marginal and barely warm. Coconut shrimp was burned, got a second batch which wasn’t cooked. Potato was only just warm. Couldn’t even melt the butter. Used to be one of our favorite restaurants and will never return again. Server was very good though.
We went out for our anniversary dinner. Made reservations at a place that we have heard a lot of good things about. The food was excellent, the service was excellent, the staff was excellent. Our waiter asked us if we were celebrating anything special, and I told him quietly that it was our anniversary, but that I didn't want anyone to know about it. He just winked, and nodded at me, and said, "Okay". After we finished our meal, we were waiting for our check, and all of a sudden our waiter quietly set a big brownie down in front of us, complete with a small scoop of ice cream on it, and a candle, and two forks, and he wished us a Happy Anniversary. Very nice. I just didn't want an entire wait staff coming up to our table and clapping and singing, so that's why I said to keep quiet about knowing that it was our anniversary. Job well done. Lol. Still were sitting there, waiting for our food to digest a bit, when the busboy (in this case, a lady) said quietly to us, "Happy anniversary". Next, as we were heading towards the door, to leave, the maitre d'/host wished us a Happy Anniversary. Did the entire restaurant know that it was our anniversary? Funny!!
We arrived for our reservation 15 minutes early. We didn't mind waiting since we were early, however, there were multiple tables open the entire time we were waiting and others arrived without reservations and were seated ahead of us. (To be fair, I'm not aware of how the staffing issue was this evening or the current Covid restrictions). After waiting 20 minutes, we were finally seated 5 minutes after our scheduled reservation. Our server was good in that he was attentive, but not exceptional. He just didn't seem to be interested in being there. I realize with mask wearing, it's difficult to see someone smile, but you can tell if a person is smiling and this server didn't. The food was very good. The crab cakes were delicious and my wife loved the chopped salad. The filet mignon was good, but not the best I've ever had. We had dined here on previous occasions and had great experiences. My wife and I were celebrating our 30th anniversary and were hoping for an exceptional dining experience. This one, sadly, was just mediocre.
The macadamia nut-crusted Alaskan halibut was fabulous!
Date night with my wife
Wonderful ribs. Love their namesake salad—order a large one to share! Terrific steaks.
Top notch service. Expect a wonderful meal.
We had an early reservation for dinner at Wildfire on a Friday night. The service was great! Unfortunately the table and the meal wasn't as great. We had a booth by the kitchen where they are preparing mobile orders. Not a great ambiance, but we also requested a booth, which they accommodated so beggars can't be choosers. We both ordered the filet medallions medium rare and neither were cooked to cool center. Mine was closer to medium so I just elected to keep what I had but my fiance's was closer to done. She asked that they be re-prepared which took about 15 minutes.
The drinks were good, the server was really really great, but for the price of the meal ($200 with 2 glasses of wine, 2 mixed drinks, tax and tip) it should have been better.
We'll probably wait until things "return to normal" before trying Wildfire again. There are so many great places in the area at this price point to gamble again.
We have been many times, and everything seems a bit off. Food was wonderful, server was attentive, but seemed to be the only one in a very large section. We will return, of course, but it was an off night.
Awesome as usual! Excellent food and service. One of the best restaurants in the Twin Cities
Food was great. I enjoyed it very much.
This is a great place to go out. I was extremely happy with the service and the atmosphere. Everything was perfect.
Friends, great service, great food and a great night.
Love this place. The steaks are always fantastic - I typically order the filet mignon with the blue cheese crust - it's incredible. The service is wonderful and they make special occasions fun. I would highly recommend.
Everything was great! Steaks were cooked to our desired temps, chopped salad was phenomenal and all of our sides were great too!
We have been dining at this location since they opened (close to 20 years). The food, as always, was excellent. However, the service was not to their usual standard. Our server was very pleasant, friendly, and polite. However, there were several moments that were unexpected. Our starter course is always the Wildfire Chopped Salad (every single time we go). It always has been served tableside. Even in recent, pandemic era visits - the server brings the salad, and serves it. On this evening, the server sat the plates down, asking us to pass them around (??). Then, she sat the salad in it's holder and left. If this was a policy change due to the pandemic, I can accept that - but tell me so; don't just drop the salad and run. The other odd portion of the experience was our server's requests for us to pass empty plates to her. I don't pay for this kind of restaurant experience to bus my own table.
In summary: Food = excellent. Service = not as good as usual. We'll be back, but will expect better.
Service was wonderful with great attention to detail.
We had an attentive waitress named Kaitlyn. We really liked her. The ambiance was really nice. Food portions were generous. Loved the corn bread!
Arrived 30 mins before closing. A little rushed. Good food as always. They increased the prices. Not as good of value.
Celebrated my parents 55th anniversary here and they made the night special. Even brought two complimentary desserts for the table to recognize the occasion. One meal wasn’t cooked quite to order and it was quickly rectified. We’ll be back.
Great food, great service. We had an excellent time and we will be back!
Always great service. Baked potato was huge. Nice wine list.
I really enjoyed eating outdoors at Wildfire. The food was excellent and service was very good. I love it that they have some gluten sensitives options. It was a treat!
Both the food & service were excellent. A little pricey.
Our overall experience was great. The complimentary cornbread is very good, we had soup and salad as a appetizer yum! I always order the prime rib which is soooo good. My husband had the filet, along with a baked potato and broccoli that we shared.
Will be back!
Loved Wildfire as usual. Sat in the bar, though, and couldn't watch baseball because the TV was broken.
Food and service were excellent
Our server Jordan was great. Very professional and positive. We've always had great meals there, but this time our food expectations were not met. The prime rib was tasteless and not tender. The meat lacked any seasoning, especially on the outer "crust". The babyback ribs had very little flavor other than the cloying sauce which added some flavor but no smokiness as one would expect. I've had these ribs at Wildfire before and they are very good with the right amount of smoke. It seemed that the ribs were probably pre-cooked in a roaster, then tossed onto the grill just before serving, with a little bit of sauce wiped on to caramelize the outer crust. Absolutely no smokiness to the flavor. We both agreed that we would not order these items the next time we visit.
Service and food were great
I'm a long time customer. Before the pandemic food was better. i.e. steak
