Excellent service. Hot food. Large portions. Outside deck a wonderful location. Prices a little high but acceptable considering all the plusses. Too many messages confirming our reservation—I think there were at least five. We would gladly return.
The food was very tasty and the service was also quite good.
Good food. Mostly reasonable prices, but $3.95 for a mediocre black ice tea is ridiculous.
The service, food and location was extremely satisfacting, but the hostess was something to be desired.. When I booked the reservation, I clearly asked for a booth... She decided to not sit us in a booth, until we asked for it. She sat us at a slim booth that the partition was obviously moved by the two people sitting there.

The food was great. Wine menu had limited choices. Waitress did not have an idea of what wine specifics when asked. But overall great experience and view.
We stopped in for lunch on Labor Day, we had reservation. It was Chaotic. Gentleman was helpful and attentive. They need to develop a system-one line for reservation/one for walking perhaps. The glass case at entrances cause a bottleneck entree and regress maybe re think that.
Not a fan of 6" partition with gap at bottom in booths, for privacy, also when tables other side of partition was bused the server was intent on his task but oblivious to the racket he was production with clearing and resetting it was amazing. When he was resetting I kindly asked if he perhaps could employ a lighter tight as it was quite a disruption. He was very polite and responsive! Our waiter was excellent, great interaction style -has varied colored pens in apron pocket. He was the best part of our experience.
I had 1/2 sandwich and salad: tuna very nice my spouse the full tuna sandwich. We also set infront of open kitchen leading to zero ambiance. We'll return but will either sit in bar or request away from previous area and again NO DIVED BOOTHS.
The wait time for getting food seemed very long. Quality of food was just ok.

Had the fondue which is a great appetizer for 2; shared the king salmon off the fresh sheet and that was really tasty; had the perfect finished with the peach pie. The food and preparation is earthy being both fresh and delicious -- terrific farm to table gourmet! Stephanie has always been an excellent server... very warm and friendly.
The food was very good and the waitress was friendly. But service was extremely slow. We were there for over two hours from the time we were seated until we left. It was very disappointing. For me, the super slow service outweighs the good food.
The food here is very good, still. I've been in love with the Chop Chop at Palomino in Seattle and have finally found one better at WildFin. I was served the wrong dressing with my salad this time, which I didn't notice till after I took a bite (balsamic is key for this salad), but it was soon rectified. Will be back. Keep the food quality up!

Good to find late Friday night delicious food on the waterfront. The open shell clam appetizer always turns into a hardy chowder that is a great meal in itself! The seafood fettuccine is still the best on Ruston. Drew our server was great, completing a terrific date night!
The wait staff wasn’t very attentive, seemed almost rushed to get us out the door to turn the table over for the next party. Someone was always walking around with an iPad keeping nots on where they were in regards to the tables and how far along the guests were. Food was great so that was a plus.
Absolutely love sitting outside the bar and having the setting sun on our backs as we dine on some of the tastiest fish and prawn tacos around. WildFin is our regular top pick for a date night!
As a new restaurant in a new waterfront site, this restaurant should be exceptional. The building is new, the furnishings are all new and very modern, the kitchen is unique and the food is good. I do have some criticisms however. It was our 65th anniversary that day, I am a Vietnam veteran with 26 years of service, much of it in Europe and Asia and have been to many great restaurants. This is a good restaurant but should be even better. It should be Great. As a 100% disabled veteran, I was disappointed to find that the WildFin does not have any handicap accessible parking unless you count the handicap parking in the central parking garage two blocks away. None near the entrance! Nor did I see any parking assistance offered. Also, I went to some care in noting that it was a significant milestone in our marriage, and requesting a window table. The latter was given to us and a comment about our anniversary made in passing by the lady seating us. However, I would expect a restaurant that has the class that they aspire to would have notified our server of our anniversary. As it were, when we were done dining, I made a comment about it and she was surprised, even a bit embarrassed that she did not know. Of course, like other class restaurants, we were not offered a small dessert or other acknowledgement like we get at other places like Stanley & Seaforts, The Lobster Shop, Harbor Lights, or even Dukes. We eat out frequently and we did not feel special during this visit. I am sorry but the staff at WildFin just did not come up to the standards of a class, or even a more competent restaurant as far as customer care or attention. That is, except for our server, Ashley, who was vivacious, vibrant and very caring. If it wasn't for her, I would have rated the restaurant lower. Thank you again, Ashley! Charles Wilkinson, Lt. The calamari was with the jalapeño aoili and that went great with the happy hour cocktail Had a fantastic shrimp and scallop scampi fire seafood. The cherry tomatoes were sliced and went great with the grilled bruschetta l bruschetta To make a good salad Caprese. Special of the day was the king salmon for35 bucks and it was extremely moist and cooked perfectly with a medium rare center. The portions were so generous, we did not need to get dessert. Highly recommend this restaurant and the view of the Commencement Bay on the south end of the Puget Sound as well as Mount Rainier is fantastic
Food was excellent but the service from walking in to leaving was dismal. With reservations we still waited 30 minutes. Once we ordered we waited another 30 minutes for drinks and 45 minutes overall for food. (No wonder we had to wait for a table!) The server forgot to bring water even when we asked for it three times. The menu said that a scone comes with each brunch ordered but we had to ask for it to get it after the meal was almost complete. Of four meals ordered one was incorrect when it got to the table which required more time for that food item. Probably won’t be back.
Food was good; however, wait time was nearly 1/2 hour long even with our reservation. For us, the wait time sort of set the bad tone. I guess I would say be prepared for this if you plan to dine here.
We like the atmosphere but the food was not good at all. The fish was dry, my salad was awful. The seafood dish my husband and brother had was good though. The calamari was TERRIBLE (sorry)...but it was to thick and very tough. This was a very poor experience.
The device was fast and friendly. The waiter got our order wrong due to the noise in the room. Overall pretty good
Had to send steak back because it was way overcooked. Quality of steak wasn't very good either. Would not recommend getting any beef from here. All the seafood was great so stick to that

We had most of the seafood appetizers - the food was excellent and they were generously sized portions. We had the ceviche, garlic shrimp, wicked seafood and clams northwest style. The clams northwest style is outstanding and was filled with clams in their seafood chowder.
This is the second time my wife and I have been here,this time for her birthday. We love this place and can't wait to come back. Our waitress Stephanie was amazing and gave great recommendations which we took advantage of and were not disappointed. Huge compliments to the chefs who prepared the Alaska Snow crab stuff roasted Cod and Chili Prawn Mac and Cheese. Both dishes were amazing!
The opening with the surprise from the Chef & The scones was wonderful. The breakfast not so. Our great server Alex said that it was taking a little to get our food as he sent it back to have it redone because it looked over done to him. When we did receive our breakfast it was very overdone so we let Alex know it was just not acceptable as we just talked to the manager Thomas when we were there Thursday for lunch. He encouraged both sides the comments regarding food and service. Melissa the manager is a top-notch pro. She compt both meals, sent us home with scones butter and jam. Unfortunately since we didn't get a bill we forgot to tip Alex who greatly deserved it. I tried calling got a message that I couldn't leave any comments on it also said to contact the hostess if you needed to make a reservation and there was no way to do that. I wanted to know when Alex was working again so we could bring a tip down. If someone could let us know would love to do that. We left about the place that we love to eat.

Food wad NOT good. My food wasn't edible, so salty!!!! So was my sister's... So our family lunch together w out of town guests wasn't pleasant... I left w no lunch. I didn't order something else as it was already getting late for our schedule because it til so long to get our food... plus my diet is limited...
Also, there were no apologies given! What????... bad business!!!
I won't return... I'll go to the Pizza place Farelli's... one note , at least me & my sister weren't charged for our food in which we couldn't eat!.... but again, no apologies, no other offers!
The food came to our table cold and it took over 45 minutes to get all 4 orders to the table.
We we were able to enjoy a view outside of the beautiful Puget sound with a bottle of wine which was absolutely outstanding. The food was great and so was the service. The only thing that brought the experience down a little bit was the screaming toddler at the table next to us. Please note that if you're coming to wildfin this the time to splurge on a babysitter. Dont waste everyone else's experience because you're too cheap to do so.
We enjoyed our meal and especially want to commend the restaurant for using local suppliers and PAPER straws, avoiding the environmental problems of plastic in the oceans.
This was a first for my husband & myself. It was an amazing experience. Food was so delicious, and service was excellent. We chose this restaurant for my birthday dinner because friends told us everything was good here. We’ll be back for hubby’s birthday!
I will say right off that our meals were excellent and our server was to notch. My only complaint would be with the front hostess. She has been there since they opened in Ruston and each time I have dealt with her she seems to have a very curt demeanor. We had a 5:30 reservation and at 5:25 my husband checked in and asked about outside seating. There was one table available and she chose to allow a group with a 6:30 reservation who arrived an hour early to take that table over our reservation and told us for outside it would be a 20 to 30 minute wait. We should've raised a fuss about it, but chose not to. Instead we opted to not wait 30 minutes past our reservation time and ate inside. The other hostess took us to a nice window seat. Other than that, everything else was great.
Expect to be in and out in two hours if you show up on a Sunday at 2:30. In between shift changes, absolutely horrible service.
Our dinner at Wild Fin was a nice outing. The friends who were with us had the same reaction. A very nice dinner.
Good fun time
We sat outside for lunch on a sunny day, they brought over an umbrella and we were quite comfortable. The eggs Benedict, fish and chips, and french onion soup were great. We loved the deviled eggs with bacon that was compliments from the chef! The service was friendly, attentive, and prompt. Our table overlooked the sound where we were entertained by watching boats and an eagle fishing, kids at the playground, and people walking by on the trail. We will be back to try the french dip and chicken blt!
