Such a special spot to dine! Quaint but delicious 10/10 reccomend
The Wild Sage is a delightfully intimate restaurant with superb food. The perfect choice for a celebration.
Wonderful intimate space and atmosphere. Creative and delicious food. Very knowledgeable wait person provided excellent service. Highly recommended.
Everything we had was exceptional - even "the best ever!"
Simply the BEST high-end restaurant in Jackson. They win on food, service, and ambiance.
Excellent meal. Gnocchi app was amazing. Main entrees were executed perfectly. Dessert was memorable as being one of the best desserts we’ve had. A must go and return to for another meal.
We never miss an opportunity to dine here. The service is absolutely wonderful and the food cannot be beat. Fine dining in a warm and comfortable environment. It is a quaint and unique find and a must for when you are in Jackson Hole. Go early and enjoy a cocktail in their library.
Great food, great service. I have a lot of allergies and they were very accommodating.
Best restaurant in Jackson Hole!
Visiting the area from Chicago. Chicago has many fine dining experiences, and we were thrilled to find this option in Jackson.
After reading lots of recent mixed reviews, we were pleasantly surprised with the service, and quality of food.
The restaurant is quaint, and well appointed. The attention to detail in decor. food, and service is not to be missed!
Before making a reservation here, you should know this is a dining experience. Not simply a meal. If you’re looking for a fast meal, you will want to look elsewhere. If you’re looking to appreciate the artistic talent, and flavor abilities of a chef, book now!
Alicia was our server. She offered thorough explanation of each item. Table-side service was a personal touch, and greatly appreciated.
Our meal started with the evenings amuse bouche. Tempura Bass, cooked to perfection. At Alicia’s recommendation, due to the small size of the crab cake, we each ordered our own. We found ourselves wishing we had ordered multiple crab cakes, as it was delicious.
We also enjoyed the Curry Eggplant soup (a bit too spicy for my enjoyment) and the evenings feature tomato, goat cheese salad.
Rabbit was an entree for the evening, accompanied by a carrot purée. It was prepared perfectly.
The Wagyu beef, served with a layered / seared potato cake was the desired dish on the table.
To finish the evening, we ordered both the warm berry compote with house made whiskey cinnamon ice cream, and carrot cake. Both were delicious. Our only wish was the ice cream to have been served separately from the berry compote, as it melted too quickly for us to really enjoy it as it was intended.
We have no doubt, when we return to Jackson that the trip must include an evening at Wild Sage
Wayne is an outstanding waiter, professional and efficient; personalized our visit!!
Food, as always, was fabulous both in appearance and taste
Definitely a keeper for many years to come
The food is always amazing but the lights are SO bright it is like eating in McDonalds.
Our first meal at Wild Sage and it lived up to the reputation shared with us by friends. Foord and service both great; Jean Paul was most attentive and an interesting fellow.
We have been trying to get a reservation for months and usually they are booked with residents of the Lodge. I am glad we finally connected and we will certainly visit again, if we can get reservations.
Loved this quiet, intimate restaurant where staff & chefs attention to to detail was noticed. A true gem!
Food was amazing. Excellent service. Highly recommend.
Unfortunately, the expectations after reading Trip Advisor were not fulfilled.
Chicken was tough, worse Osso Bucco ever ...
Our party of 4 was not happy at all ...
Sorry to say ...
During a recent visit to Jackson Hole, this was one of the more delicious dinner restaurants that we booked. Our server seemed curt in her responses and we would have enjoyed a more friendly approach. Other than that we can recommend the atmosphere, cuisine and location.
Outstanding veal chop and halibut entrees, professional and attentive service, intimate setting. A gem!
Wonderful meal meal in a charming setting. Service also great. Highly recommend
Great for foodies who appreciate the excellence. Generous portions of the fresh cuisine. Pricey but worth it for the discerning diner.
We were disappointed. Although our meal was good, my halibut was overcooked but the accompanying vegetables was fabulous, the service was lacking. There are only eight or so tables and our server did not come back to check on us after we sere served. Had she done so I would have told her he halibut was overcooked. But primarily we were disappointed because the restaurant lacked any kind of energy. It was very quiet and the open concept kitchen was nice but at times the chef was looking at his phone. All in all the kitchen looked bored and the waitstaff was not very friendly or energetic. We would not return.
My husband and I both had the crab cake appetizer and the Wagyu steak and both were excellent. Our waitress was very good as well. So happy we ended our honeymoon at Wild Sage! Highly Recommended!
Fabulous restaurant hiding in Jackson, WY - preparations are fresh and creative. Quite a bit of intense prep work such as a cold, clear tomato consumee and a unique foos gras preparation that requires aging 48 hrs. Fabulous chef in a very intimate atmosphere where watching the kitchen is instructive and lively entertainment.
Excellent meal and friendly to plate sharing. Made our anniversary celebration a complete joy. Wines are pricey. Dining room is small and intimate.
Food was so bad I sent mine back and did not reorder anything!!
The ambiance was cozy and warm. The service was exceptional and the presentation of the food was as good as it gets. I had the halibut and although, I have had better halibut, the side carried the dish and all-in-all it was very good. I would order it again but not before trying other options on the menu. A friend had the crab appetizer for her meal and she said it was the best she had ever had. However, the server might have suggested how small it was since she was having it as her main course On the other hand, my friend did not inquire. It was a lovely, unrushed evening. I would not hesitate to go back.
Lovely in every detail! Wonderful waiter...food perfect!
50th Anniversary
By far the best restaurant out of three recommendations we got. The food is creative and very tasty and the wine list extensive.
Our meal was delicious and the service attentive as always, we will continue to frequent the Wide Sage when we are in Jackson for the summer.
Simply the best restaurant in Jackson Hole. Great wine list and outstanding, professional service.
Jean Paul and the team went above and beyond with excellent recommendations, service and food. I have been to world class restaurants in Paris, Nice, Madrid and more- this was among my favorite meals. While the food and drink was delicious (compliments to the chef), it was Jean Paul and team that truly made it an over the top dining experience. 10/10 would recommend.
This was by far one of the best meals my husband and I ever had. The team at Wild Sage made our anniversary extra special.
First time I have ever written the following recommendation: do not dine at this restaurant. We have dined at all sorts of restaurant but this was a huge disappointment. Waiter was austentacious. Food was slow and bland. One simple dish was remade and was worse the second time.
Unfortunately the most disappointing meal I had during my stay in the Grand Tetons area. The restaurant is beautiful and the service personal. However, apart from the starter, which was Asian flavored Wagyu tartar, the food was very bland. I had Veal Ossobuco and it was probably the most boring I had in my entire life. Also, quite disappointing there was no cheese on the menu for desert.
Service was great and food was good but for price not-so-great value.
Dissappointed with cut of beef. Flavorful but too much gristle..
Great food and service!!
Excellent food and cozy ambiance at the Rusty Parrot Lodge. Staff were accommodating and friendly. Both the appetizers and entrees were delicious! Recommend the crab cakes and wagyu beef!
Jean Paul was outstanding, friendly and gracious. The food was wonderfully prepared. The halibut was cooked to perfection. It was a foody delight. Be prepared for a small intimate dining experience. Preparation by the chef and his staff was well planned and presentation was perfection.
