** Wild Ginger - Downtown

The food at Wild Ginger spans the Pacific Rim from China to Indonesia. We pride ourselves on offering traditional dishes from these distinctive regions and insist on house-made ingredients. Chefs make spicy chili sambals, fresh coconut milk, delicate egg noodles, and our pungent oyster sauce all from scratch. To achieve the sublime flavors of the East, there is no substitute for the time-honored customs of these rich and ancient cultures.

My first experience visiting this restaurant after searching for great eating options in the Seattle area. The food was divine! I highly recommend this place if you love Thai food and all of the spices that go with it. This place does an amazing job. Loved it and will be back!

I felt rushed in drink service…and dining…and was fine an hour before I’d planned to be. Not a super nice dining experience. I know it was busy, but hey!

Customer service was excellent, seated quickly and meal was reasonably priced for downtown Seattle. The Mongolian beef noodles and phad thai were liked by all. The tuna tartar was tasty, just wish there was more. Enjoyed the spring rolls as well...they were fried but deconstructed with fresh ingredients to wrap them in. The duck was delicious as well. Our green curry was good too, but the other dishes sounded more. Would have done the seven seasons beef since that's always good but our friends weren't big on beef so we only had a little.

The food has always been consistently good but, unfortunately my experience last night was not good. Every dish was so laden with sugar, I felt I was eating dessert. Too much sugar in every dish. I had the lettuce cups with sea bass, the beef skewers, and sea bass entree. The beef skewers was the only dish that wasn’t overly sweet. I hope this may bring the chefs attention to how the dishes are prepared, as I very much love dining here.
