Well after at least 10 years my husband and I decided to go back to Wild Ginger for Valentine’s. We thought it be nostalgic and were really excited about it. The ginger martinis are still great, but the rest of the night was not. They actually forgot to place our order and said the’d also forgotten five other orders- and after an hour wait finally brought it. They did not comp anything and we felt like we shouldn’t have needed to ask. It was absolutely an awful experience. The food was also a let down. So so sad and a disappointment.

Our entire dinner was paid for by restaurant because there was a delay in our food coming out.
It was a very kind jester and the food was delicious .

The food is outstanding. The wine selection is very nice. Our only concern is that waiters did not do a great job explaining portion sizes. We even asked about portion sizes - they were clear about the entrees, but not the side dishes. They asked us each if we wanted to order a side dish. Three of us ordered a side dish of boy choy and 1 person ordered rice to accompany our mealA. It turns out 1 side dish of boy choy could easily feed 4 diners. The rice is enough for 2 people. We ended up with two dishes of bok choy that were untouched. We couldn’t take it with us since we were out of town travelers. Seemed like a waste of food and money. At least it was delicious bok choy?

Very disappointing. Hadn’t been in a few years. The spring rolls are literally soggy. The tuna was meh. The beef was still very good. It felt really tired and well past its prime.

Fantastic! One of my five top favorite restaurants in Seattle!! Consistently amazing Food! Consistently attentive service! If you have a food allergy they go above and beyond to try and accommodate you. If you have an event at Benaroya Hall they make sure your served in time to attend. LOVE this restaurant!!

We went to Wild Ginger for my birthday celebration while visiting Seattle. Beautiful dining room and the food was absolutely delicious! It's on my list of places to eat the next time I am back in Seattle.

We used to go here all the time. It's just not the same. The chicken potstickers were undercooked, the recipes have obviously changed on a lot of the menu as many items just don't taste as good as the used to. Our server was overstretched in her section and wasn't able to serve any of her guests to the best of her ability. It's gonna be a while until we go back (if ever) after coming here many times per year over the past 10 years that we've lived in the area.

Took nearly 50 minutes to be served and they brought our meals out in three phases. Two of us were done before the last two were served. The seafood noodle entree was very light on seafood. I won’t be going again.

My wife and I LOVE Wild Ginger. From the decadently salty-sweet of the black pepper scallops to the amazing duck on fluffy rolls, and the incomparable seven-flavor beef, our taste buds are flooded with satisfying yum!

After years of living away from Seattle, we choose Wild Ginger, an old favorite for this return visit. The restaurant is beautiful and the design allows for a sense of privacy for each table, in spite of the open floor plan. The food is well prepared and presented. Our waiter was helpful in describing ingredients and answered our questions. However, there were some lags in service. A drink and one of our entrees was quite delayed. The noise level is quite loud.

Chicken chieu salad, our favorite, was very good
Seafood Thai noodles. Noodles were slimy overcooked and dish had little flavor
Ribs were mostly fat and under cooked

Drinks took forever and then food took forever to come out and one entree never showed up. So my friend ate just green beans for dinner. Waitress didn’t apologize and barely checked on Understand if there is a kitchen mix up but no explanation was offered. They didn’t charge us for the food that didn’t show up. She comped a side dish but the way the waitress seemed to barely care about us and was mostly annoyed(?) was appalling.

The phad thai was tasteless and the bok choy was tasteless. I've had the phad thai in the past and it was very good, so was quite disappointed.
Lamb chops delicious, but need something additional to use up the sauce, since it's the best part

We have been coming to Wild Ginger for almost all of the 30 years it is celebrating being open. I was disappointed with the evening. While the restaurant is still pretty, the food was somewhat bland. The green beans only tasted of the spice/sauce and the beans had no flavor themselves. The Hanoi tuna which was is an entree that the waiter recommended had so little taste that I asked for limes to freshen it up. The sauce it came with was mushy and bland. It was supposed to be seared by instead it just felt warm. It was a bad combination although the presentation on the plate was very pretty.

The only disappointment was that I wanted to see if it would be possible to order a chicken dish that used to be on the menu for many years. When I come with my family (group) we always aske if there could be an exception and make this dish. The server did not know of the dish. The alternate item was delicious.

Starting from the welcoming at the door after the symphony, we were pleasantly greeted and seated at a window table. Petar had recommended Wild Ginger to us, the restaurant did not disappoint. The Siam Lettuce Wraps were exquisite, and so was my Pinot Noir, a signature bearing the same name — Wild Ginger — creates by a former employee. Thank you, Petar and chef, for making our dining experience exceptional.
