    When my wife asked where I wanted to go to celebrate Father’s Day, I knew I wanted Whiskey Cake…and as always, it did not disappoint!

    Everything was good. Only negative was the porkchop which was highly recommended and said to be very tender was not tender. The side had too much garlic. Service was very good. We would return.

    Our waiter was great - the salmon was cooked bad and I got sick and the Father’s Day old fashioned kit not offered and was told I missed it by one even though we sat 15 minutes without service then rushed out by a large party - the manager couldn’t speak to me about the missed old fashioned kit which was the servers fault or address raw food but came and kicked us out. Rude and poorly handled!

Did you let our manager know about your salmon being under? We would have loved to fix that up for you. Either way, I apologize that we fell short this time around.     Disappointing Experience We visited Whiskey Cake recently and unfortunately were seated next to a family loudly arguing and insulting their adult son in Spanish. Since I speak Spanish, I understood everything, which made it even more uncomfortable. Despite my husband’s very polite request for them to lower their voices, the woman became extremely rude, escalated the situation, and played victim to the staff before leaving, loudly insisting, “This is a public place; we can be as loud as we want!” I replied, “No! this is a business.” The food and staff were great, but it’s disappointing that other guests’ behavior was allowed to disrupt the experience for others. Especially on Father’s Day !

    We went to Whiskey Cake for our friends 25th birthday! Food and drinks were very good. However pretty disappointed with our server. She was very short and not very kind as we were waiting for all of our guests to arrive. She warmed up towards the end but we didn’t appreciate the rudeness. Overall, would come back but hopefully have a different server!

    Whiskey Cake used to be my go-to. After my last 2 visits, no more. They have dismantled and cut back their food options so much, it's really just bar food and a selection of whiskies. They used to have such amazing food. The braised short-ribs were incredible, and the shepherd's pie was great too and gave it a UK in Texas feel, All of my favorites are now off the menu and it's mainly sandwiches, burgers, and just the basics with no creativity or flair. So disappointed at the management's choices on food.

    The food was very good and our server was phenomenal. One member of our party suddenly felt sick so her husband was taking care of her while the rest of us stayed at the table. The first thing the manager asked was where the couple was sitting with us. We are all professionals and most of the table are veterans. We were not going to skip out on the bill. That left an ugly taste in our mouths with it being our first time in this restaurant

    Whiskey Cake has been my chosen birthday dinner restaurant for the last 3 years. The food is always fresh and delicious, service is spot on and the Whiskey cake is devine.
