The food was delicious -- crab cake, carrot bisque -- except for the steak salad which was fine but bland. Service was excellent. Super well run operation. Best thing though was that it was hard to make a decision -- so many things on the menu looked super yummy. Only real negative is not limited to Waypoint: It's gotten really expensive to eat out -- entrees at $40plus. So it better be good if you are spending $35 for a crab cake, and it was.

Excellent food as usual. However, our waiter forgot some basics. Midway through the main course I finally asked if we could have some bread, since none had been delivered to our table. I also had to request a knife since my service was bussed after the appetizer but not replaced until I asked for a new knife. Small details, yes. Did it ruin our dinner, no. But given that not every table was filled at all times, it was a lapse in service that I wouldn't expect from Waypoint nor it's staff.

We were celebrating a birthday and had a terrible experience. The server was very rude when simply asking what kinds of drinks they had available for kids, the chicken we ordered had an overwhelming charcoal flavor that left it inedible, the bread basket was filled with nothing but hard as a rock and stale pieces of bread. Overall, we couldn’t wait to leave.

The fried calamari was probably the best I’ve ever had, as was the shrimp and grits. My daughter also enjoyed the salmon dish. I would highly recommend this place!

Had such high expectations for this restaurant. Sadly, we were disappointed when our charcuterie included basic table crackers, packaged meat and nibbles of plain cheeses -nothing special to entice us. Clam chowder was just ok as were crab cake and tuna entrees. Best flavors came in the bottle of wine that we chose.

It was very good and would go back. Very nice ambiance. The razberry cosmo one of the best drinks ever, also liked that they prepared my steak as requested as I am on a low sodium diet. My granddaughter loved her butterned buccatelli pasta. Very Good, would recommend.
