I have been to the Sacramento Street location many times and it has always been excellent. This Pine Street restaurant was mediocre at best. Hopefully, it gets better with time...

We had attentive service, wonderful food and company. Notables were the yummy deviled eggs, tartare, I think one of the best fried chicken I’ve had, also great wagyu bavette- wow! Insane pavlova too. Bellies full, great vibe, happy to see the new space.

Very disappointed today. I’ve been to the old location and thought I’d try the new location. I drove up from Menlo Park for a lunch meeting. Had an 11:45 lunch reservation and was seated at a nice table. Menu for lunch was a bit small but ended up ordering a club sandwich. Food came quickly and service was attentive. I was shocked when they came and told us at 12:45 that our hour was up (no one said anything when we were seated) and the next party had arrived for our table of 2. We were having a business lunch and this cut everything short. As I walked out I saw open tables of 2. I won’t go back if they continue this short time limit, esp without saying anything on Open Table or when we were seated. If financial district restaurants want to come back, this doesn’t help. I’ll go elsewhere.

We stopped at the new location for lunch. Unfortunately, they aren’t serving brunch yet but everything was amazing. We had a few delicious cocktails, shrimp cocktail, beef tartare, fried chicken and Mac and cheese. Everything was phenomenal! We’ll absolutely be back on our next visit to the city.
