                                            Such a great host. We explained that due to a scheduling change we had to eat and leave in 40 minutes. He took the order himself and assured us that it would not be a problem. Everything came out fast, was delicious and we were out in 40 minutes!! Awesome, thanks again Mr. Host..

                                            We arrived early but were seated late given there were plenty of empty tables. Everyone who walked in after us were shown to their tables. In addition, we could not understand our waiter.

                                            New location for this 25-year old SF restaurant, which is a short time to become an institution, but that’s exactly what Wayfare Tavern is. Good thing is the food is just as good as always. My schnitzel was fantastic, my wife’s fried chicken (their signature, along with the complimentary popovers) didn’t miss a beat. Some of the best mashed potatoes I’ve ever had as well. Service was fine, but didn’t shine. (Perhaps done ask a table how everything is when there is only water on the table before we’ve even ordered drinks.)

                                            Food was great, as always. Served was exceptional. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. Was a little noisy but that was the table next to us. Nice Father’s Day dinner

                                            Tried out the new location, while I liked the old spot more, it still had the swanky energy Wayfare Tavern is known for. Food was excellent as always. Service was a bit slow in the beginning, but ended well :)

                                            A long time favorite, but their new location fell short on service. Clearly the service staff are too few for the location and not trying to do their best. Staff art trained very well as they reach across your face and managers are training them how to set the table properly in front of us customers.. The lack of attention was very disappointing.

                                            Lively atmosphere. We shared the little gems salad, which was great, and then had the burger and the spring pea rigatoni. Both were delicious.

                                            Yummy dinner - our server was very quiet, barely talked to us. Food def overpriced but the fried chicken was well worth it!
