   This was my first time at the new location, and they've done a lovely job. However, our server was ice cold and eventually just flat out rude. We came in at 3:30 for a mid-afternoon drink and snack and immediately ordered drinks. However, she was quite unhappy that we didn't want to order a full meal right away and whisked our plates away and told us we really shouldn't be at the table. A After some time, we were eventually were able to get her to return and placed an order for appetizers, but she treated us like pariahs from that point on. I get not taking table space if they're only supposed to be for a full meal, but that wasn't communicated to us in advance and we would have happily relocated to a bar table if she had asked. We also watched as diners around us were offered the signature popovers and they never came our way. While I will certainly return, I would be reluctant to do so if this server were assigned again to our table. Worst service I've experience in a very long time.

   Today we enjoyed lunch at the bar. The entire place was full of happy customers. Cocktails were excellent, food was delicious. Very similar to the origianal WT. the new location is the BOMB! The corner of Pine & Battery is awesome. The interior reminds me of an English Mannor house. Just lovely. The staff is warm and welcoming. Check it out!

   Reserved a table for 8 to celebrate (a small, post-wedding lunch). Did not schedule for a wedding reception, though we felt adequately catered to. The workers, hostess, our waiter Philip, and who I believe were some of the management team had greeted us with “congratulations” and other compliments. Not to mention, they even went above and had my groom and I take photos upstairs! How thoughtful!! It was a very lively atmosphere for sure. Food was amazing! Our table ordered various drinks, the clam chowder (10 out of 10), turkey club, chicken sandwich, Wayfare burger, and oysters. Donuts for desert- absolute must-have!! Needless to say, I’m so thankful to the staff at Wayfare for being absolutely amazing and giving us a wedding luncheon to remember. Service, food, and ambiance were 10 out of 10!!

   We’ve loved this restaurant for years, and visiting their new location felt like reuniting with an old friend—only better. The space is absolutely stunning—elegant, fresh, and full of charm. We sat on the terrace and couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting. It was peaceful, breezy, and the perfect backdrop for an incredible meal. The food? Just as phenomenal as we remembered. Every bite was a reminder of why we kept coming back all those years. Thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The service was warm and welcoming, making the entire experience feel both special and familiar. So thrilled to see this beloved spot thrive in its new home. We’ll definitely be back—again and again.

   Service was excellent, very energetic restaurant. Could use a few more choices on the menu but overall we were pleased.

   Decor & service was nice. The tables were so close together. Our coats were piled up beside us in the booth, leaving little room for us & the people beside us. The bathroom scene was the worst. I don’t want to be washing my hands & putting on lipstick beside 3 dudes! Honest feedback but these communal bathrooms are horrible.

We’re sorry to hear that the layout felt cramped during your visit and that the restroom area was uncomfortable for you personally. To clarify for those reading, our restroom design includes private stalls, but the sinks are located in a shared space outside the stalls. This layout was a structural decision made to maximize the number of restrooms available within the constraints of the building. While we understand it may not be ideal for everyone, it was the best option to ensure shorter wait times and accessibility for more guests. We appreciate your honest feedback and will keep it in mind as we continue to refine the guest experience.

   Returning to Wayfare Tavern, but in a new space, was a transcendent experience. My husband and I went in for the tried and loved fried chicken and burger, but ended up with the pork schnitzel and the beef stroganoff with parisien gnocchi. The beef was one of the best dishes I have had in a while, and it made me excited to dine out again. Hats off to chef and the team for day 2 being insanely delicious.

    Absolutely delicious! Our server Rome was amazing. They clearly have a hit on their hands here. Amazing friendly, thoughtful, attentive service and delicious food. From the moment you walk through the door. We were a group of four and tried everything from appetizers to side dishes, salads and pasta, veggies and fried chicken. Highly recommended! The lavender lemonade was light and refreshing... the tea perfectly brewed and flavorful. Even the restrooms were top notch with gender neutral facilities, spacious private rooms. This restaurant all around offers a warm and welcoming feeling. My fave bites were the fried chicken (to live for!), pickled carrots, creative spin on a deviled egg, and lavender lemonade. We loved it and left already discussing coming back for our next visit!
