   We had an awesome date at Water Grill for lunch. We started with a Trojan roll and decided to try the Honeymoon oyster. It was beautiful and tasty. After that we had the halibut and the Dover sole. Everything was delicious. We had a couple of the signature cocktails. We finished with the chocolate ganache cake. A great experience. Great food, well prepared and great service.

   My editor kept my business credit card, on purpose. He talked us into the higher priced menu items. The sea bass was not cooked properly….the halibut cheeks were t cheeks. Very disappointing.

   The food was outstanding and delicious. The sourdough was exceptional, the Wedge Salad bursting with flavor, and the softshell crab was fabulous. Gio, our server, was extremely helpful. It was the perfect dinner night.

   Everything was perfection as we expected based on Yelp reviews. We love lobster, so had a lobster roll and lobster tails. Fantastic! Will definitely visit again if in the area.

   Server was excellent! 3 out of 5 dishes were poor. Grit in oysters, calamari was burned and dessert was dry. So my restaurants to choose from and this one sadly was a flop. Much better experience in Vegas.

   Disappointing. The decor is inviting, and we were seated right away. My husband ordered swordfish, and it came out raw and uncooked. The waitress asked if they could get him something else. He decided to change and go with the pan-seared halibut. Unfortunately, this time it was overcooked and dry out. I got the clam chowder, which was ok. Not the best I've ever had but decent. It was my birthday and they gave us a complimentary dessert that was nice. For the price, I wouldn't go back.

   We have been to Water Grill a few times and as always they do not disappoint! Service was impeccable, food was decadent and atmosphere was warm and inviting. This is the perfect place for a cozy date night, dinner out with friends or co-workers. It has become our favorite place to dine.

    This is the best Seafood restaurant in all of San Diego. I will go back again, and again, and especially in Pacific Halibut season. Love it! Service is also top notch.
