This is by far the BEST restaurant in Norwalk. It is our "go to" place whenever we dine out or have family in from NY. Dave ( the owner) is always accommodating, pleasant and just an all around nice guy! Wait staff is also very attentive!

We were terribly rushed, to the point where we were offended. The waiter kept telling us we needed to order even though we were only one of 3 occupied tables. We tried starting with cocktails and a few appetizers but we were told we needed to order everything at once. We were a group that hadn’t seen each other in a while so wanted to enjoy ourselves and take our time- we went at an off hour when there was almost no one in the restaurant. Once we got the dessert menu I asked if we could have a few minutes before ordering dessert- the waiter came back in 1 minute and said we needed to order. After all that rush we decided not to order dessert, and then were told we had to leave in 15 minutes. Almost every table was empty. We are not loud or obnoxious, we were dressed appropriately, and had spent a few hundred dollars and only been there maybe 1.5 hours max. I don’t understand what the rush was, but we’ll be taking our business elsewhere next time.

We come to Washington Prime at least a handful of times a year. Our server Webster last night was amazing.. funny, energetic and knowledgeable. He came by to check up on us frequently, waters were filled consistently and the delicious food came out promptly and cooked perfectly. Per usual Washington Prime never fails, our overall experience met all our expectations. I would definitely keep coming here again and would recommend it to anyone!! Thank you Washington Prime!! Fabulous. I will return because of Webster, to start with. I was stuck on the other side of the draw bridge and when o called he reassured me my table would be reserved. When I arrived he greeted me by name. When I forgot my cc he ran out to the lot across the street! Amazing and personal service. The waitstaff was wonderful and discreet. My friend and I agreed the lighting in the booth was a little dim. I will return for certain- and I am a vegetarian!!!

Food was okay, we had the porterhouse for two with a potato and asparagus. I really expected a little more since it was voted the best steakhouse in 2022. Service is what really killed the experience. The server had no real personality. Every question I asked , I got a blank stare. We spent most of the night just confused , especially since this was our first time and we drove a good distance I wish he would have actually took a little more time providing a better experience.

My fiancé and I had a lovely time. The food was delicious. Their bananas foster was quite literally the best dessert I’ve ever had. Our waiter was amazing and topped off the great experience. Was also pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t too, too formal of a place. Looking forward to going back!

A wonderful choice for dinner every night and special occasions. The food and menu selections are outstanding. An unusual array of fish and seafood dishes where the talent and creativity of the chef is apparent in every dish. I had the delicious Thai Cioppino which took me straight back to the flavors of Bangkok with a generous portion of clams, mussels, lobster tail and fish. My husband had the steak which he loved and friends the Ahi tuna which they said was the best they ever had. Our waiter Webster was attentive and helpful throughout the meal. It was particularly nice that the heated closed in patio gave us the social distancing we still prefer during these times.

Great experience at WP. Booked for a bday dinner for 2. The short rib dinner was really good and the chicken scarpiello (spell check) was also very good. The chicken was in the rotisserie family, moist and flavorful. Will definitely go again, highly recommend! Waiter was knowledgeable of the menu and answered questions professionally!!

This is our 4th time @ Washington Prime, and it met our expectations. We were four people for a very late lunch. Two had filet mignon, one short-ribs and one the tomahawk veal chop. All were perfectly cooked and presented. We shared four sides but three would have been plenty. Among the desserts, the bananas foster was the standout. This is an expensive restaurant, but it always delivers a top quality experience. Highly recommended.

Best steak in the state! The steak was incredibly tender and flavorful. We had 2 veggie side dishes that were so delicately prepared and fresh-not drowned in butter, cream, or tons of spices. The cocktail list was fascinating and the wait staff incredibly professional and engaging. We will be back!

Not a place for Xmas eve. Service with Winston was delightful, however, the “patio” left much to be desired, especially warmth. I was told it was decorated, and was expecting a warm, festive, inviting ambience. Far from it. It was cold and lifeless.
