Everyone loved their food and our service was superb! Excellent evening meal for dates, business dinners or any special occasion.
Very nice. Will go back in a heartbeat.
It was fabulous!
Also a great time when we visit Washington Prime. Everything is amazing, the risotto is a hidden gem if you like risotto. Great wine list as well!
We decided on an early dinner and discovered Washington Prime’s Happy Hour. It was decidedly fun & delicious to make a dinner by ordering appetizers from the 1/2 price Happy Hour menu along with a salad.
Great place, very friendly and welcoming, and good food / cocktails.
The food was out of this world. Best steaks in the area, by far. The service was just ok. It's a tight space and every time a server walks behind you, you usually feel them brushing past. Perhaps it was because we had one of the center tables and the place was full. The bar service was slow too. It took over a 1/2 hr to get our drinks. Again, probably due to it being a busy Saturday night. All-in-all, we would definitely go back!
The staff accommodated our preference for dining at the cusp of brunch and lunch. Additionally the staff was friendly and attentive.
Intimate upscale dining experience
We were seated in a spacious, comfortable booth, perfect for conversation. In the past we have attended a few of their special wine tasting dinners and I would highly recommend!
Excellent experience. Food was delicious and the restaurant was hopping. 100% full at 6p on Saturday eve. Steak was cooked perfectly and was so tasty. Waiter/kitchen worked with us on a special order that was exactly what we wanted. I will definitely come back and recommend Washington Prime to my friends and family.
Attentive staff, good food. We will miss Scotty the manager / host. It's hard to find that type of enthusiasm and someone who is able to deliver that high quality of client experience to their guests outside of someone who has an a stake in the ownership of the establishment. I think you will miss that in whomever his replacement will be
Delicious food. Especially love the appetizers!
Great location and nice decor. Staff are always friendly.
fantastic all around! our new favorite restaurant....steak was perfect, service fantastic....from entering to leaving it was a great experience, can;t wait to go back
From the moment we entered- everything was outstanding.
Staff was friendly and attentive, food was excellent, and we enjoyed the ambiance. Would highly recommend!
We had a wonderful table and wonderful service. No mention was made by the wait staff or anyone however in regard to my husband‘s birthday. But it was still a very lovely evening!
Love this place. We miss the Georgetown location. So now we have to drive to SoNo but so worth it!
The food and service was excellent and it was a great place to celebrate a special birthday. Our table for 4 had 1 of us facing the kitchen which was disappointing for such an upscale restaurant. They kindly made it up to us but we still had to sit at the table since the restaurant was packed at peak hour on Sat night. Perhaps they can move that table or limit it to 2 people so no one has to face the kitchen. Otherwise, a great experience.
Very good restaurant. It’s pretty lively for happy hour. Love a high top but prefer one toward wall cuz it’s cold when the door opens!!
This is a true pleasure always. Although a meeting place so the noise level is a bit high it is not a problem. There is nothing I can say other than excellent to describe the service and food. Servers are courteous friendly and knowledgeable. The food is at level of every 5 star steakhouse you can think of. We are regulars both in the restaurant and for delivery.
The service was awful! The food was mediocre and the prices were exorbitant. A man brought our steak, Waitress walked over empty-handed, we asked for sides five minutes later we received send me warm potatoes without any salt and pepper.
They never came back and we had a track somebody down.
I would never go again, I just wish I knew of a real good steakhouse in the area. Open table is always on head with anything that they suggest on their site. I think this is really one of the first places I give two thumbs down to.
Great meal on a Saturday evening. Crowded as usual but worth the wait. Will be back!
This is a New York style restaurant in the unique South Norwalk district. The tenderloin was the best my husband has ever had and I had amazing local oysters and a lemon shrimp dish which was delicious. It's a bit on the pricey side and it was a very, very busy place. My only complaint is that our table for two was in a bit of wait-staff traffic. We will definitely go back there on our next visit but will ask for a table in the back or one near the window. Worth a trip.
Overall, a good experience. Got the porterhouse, which while very good, was not quite as good as some I've had at other steakhouses for the same price (think Benjamin's Steakhouse etc.). Side dishes were delicious, service was on point.
Really nice place with very friendly, welcoming service and good food.
Wonderful food and service at Washington Prime! Loved that they gave us a semi-private room for my party of 8. Service was warm and welcoming, and they accommodated our requests without hesitation.
The food exceeded my expectations as did the service. It was a bit noisy but it's meant to he a trendy place.
Five for dinner and 2 meals were great (scallops) and all 3 filet mignons had to go back - one was rare instead of medium, 2 were burnt on outside. Sides were great. Our busboy gave more attention than our waiter. The bathrooms didn’t have a holder for the toilet paper. I spoke with the manager and he took off one of the steaks from the bill and said he would buy a toilet paper stand the next day. 3 of 5 of us said we would not go back. Hubby and I said we would try to again.
We were there for a birthday lunch. Four adults and a baby. Scotty and the whole staff made sure that everything went perfectly so that everyone, including the baby, had a lovely time. We took our time over drinks and each course and no one rushed us.
Wonderful staff, delicious food, great drinks, pleasant ambiance- can’t ask for more!
Food, service and ambiance were all good. Short ribs were especially enjoyable. Noise level was moderate but got a little loud in the front. We were able to have a nice conversation with a friendly couple at the next table. Our waiter was very attentive and filled our water glasses four times. He was very polite and extremely accommodating.
Have been wanting to go here for some time, finally broke with tradition from our favorited restaurant for our anniversary and went. OMG so glad we did. Service is great, very friendly and professional. The menu some really great suggestions. I had Duck and wife had Scallops highly recommend both. Don't wait to give this place a try.
We went to Washroom Prime to celebrate my son’s birthday. He loves steak houses (we have been to several throughout NYC) so we thought we would try something new. We had such an amazing dinner. The meal was absolutely delicious! The service was superb and the manager Scotty was so friendly and personable we felt like family! My son is still saying “that porterhouse was the best steak ever!” Thank you for making his bday so special! Highly recommend!! We will be back!
Great anniversary dinner! First time here, loved our entire meal. Lobster toast was sublime...ahi tuna entree and pork tenderloin put hubby and me in the clean plate club. Tuxedo dessert to share was the perfect ending.
Service was excellent, hostess wishing us happy anniversary when she seated us in perfect table by the window was a lovely touch. We’ll be back!
Not our first time, and not our last either. The service was really good this visit; I loved the apps (had the roots & honey) but the steak was just okay. My husband and I decided to split a Tomahawk -- it was pretty fatty. They also so put a dab of some green sauce on the steak, which I think ruined the flavor of the meat. I sometimes forget to ask for NO sauces, so maybe that was on me, but I really did not like it at all. Side of baked potato was really good, and the side of cauliflower was tasty. All in all, meal was good, and we will go back--but probably not ordering the Tomahawk.
Great surprise for a trendy downtown. Deserves a 10 out of 5 rating on all points!
a 7 pm reservation,"just a few minutes, there ar people with checks." Looking aroung we saw people with menues. at 7:45 we sat at the bar for a drink. The bartender set our places and gave us menues. we ordered drinks and looked a the menue. At 8:00 Scott, the matre de came and said our table would be a few more minutes but we could order appetizers on the house. Which we did. When our appetizers came, Scott returned and advised us that there would be a table in a few minutes. we thanked him and had our dinner at the bar. The bartenders were very nice and extremely attentive.
Just a suggestion - the hostess should give a more accurate time frame when saying just a few minutes. I would have left if i knew how long it would take. Another suggestion - don't take reservations if you can't honor them.
My Filet Mignon was very tender, juicy and flavorful. Everyone there was friendly and the service was excellent!
A modestly capable ala carte Sunday brunch. Nothing spectacular. Nothing awful. Everyone left feeling "fed". Admittedly, that's a low bar to clear ...
We booked a high-top seat but a regular table was available. It was very nice seating. The wait staff was very friendly and professional. The food was very good but a bit on the expensive side.
