Food was delicious! Love the atmosphere, very historical!
The soups in particular were outstanding! Every member of our party enjoyed their meal immensely and the service could not be faulted in any way.
Beautiful outdoor dining with great food.
With the nice weather, we met friends for lunch. Has a wonderful meal and a lovely time.
We loved eating there...osman the maitre d was lovely, and there was plenty of heat for dining outdoors. Tables are really spaced, food delicious, and wait staff very accommodating. I highly recommend this place!
The Washington Crossing Inn is a favorite, especially for special occasions. The ambiance is lovely, we've always enjoyed our meals, and the service is exceptional. The menu has many great selections for food and beverages. We prefer BYOB's but this restaurant is reasonable for wines, beer and cocktails. We return as often as possible and have never been disappointed. Reservations are recommended because this is a popular venue. Our server, Jen, was the best while we celebrated my birthday!
We had a delicious lunch celebrating our daughter’s birthday. Everything was great!
Enjoying regular visits to the garden for early evening appetizers. Tables nicely distanced, food is great, space heaters all around.
The outdoor patio was so beautiful lined with mature landscaping and white fencing.
Lovely - and large - outdoor patio area with ample space between tables. Waiters wore masks and I felt safe.
Lovely garden to enjoy lunch on a fall day. we had the filet mignon sandwiches, very good accompanied by a nice glass of wine. Peanut butter crunch dessert was outstanding.
We had a nice, quite and relaxing evening. The food and drinks were delicious!
Went there for my wife’s birthday. First time there. Overall location and ambience gives you a feel for the history of the place and the restaurant. Great and attentive service (we were meeting friends so took a while to get ordering). Outstanding roasted beet pomegranate salad, as also the crab cake main course. Lobster ravioli excellent but a tad too rich. Everyone enjoyed the food, will definitely be back.
Great outdoor area with plenty of heat lamps to fight of the chill. Food and service were great
Great service, best garlic bread ever! Was an enjoyable date night out!
We had a really nice dinner outside in the garden. We were quite cool although sitting near a heater that wasn’t throwing off too much heat.
Will definitely go back!
Great food, drinks, atmosphere. Was not too happy with the server Patrick. He seemed to be in a hurry and not the friendliest.
a lovely outdoor setting under the umbrellas.
Pricey but good sandwiches
Well worth the price, everything from soup and salads to desserts were very good. Great outdoor setting.
Great meal, outdoor, adhering by Covid precautions
Eating outdoors was very enjoyable .. I felt very safe and protected... the outdoor garden areas are beautiful.. I cannot wait to go back ..
Convenient location, interesting menu and lovely ambiance
gone to inn many years.last timewas poor.though it looked same food and service poor.found out just bought.
Went for brunch, but they were only serving lunch. The food was good, the service was very good.
I was very disappointed with the food! I ordered the lunch hamburger, McDonalds' would have served a better lunch! No flavor.
Five of us had a delightful lunch together. Crab soup outstanding, but oh, so many calories! Our side salad was a little overdressed. Should have had dressing on the side. Would go back.
Washington Crossing Inn never disappoints! The food is always excellent and drinks are some of the best around. The outdoor dining ambience is the best in the area!
Great place for outdoor dining in current conditions. Food very good to excellent. Service depends on who you get ... most waitstaff are very good but there are a few who are phoning it in. Overall highly recommended.
A favorite spot for us for special occasions. Their prices are a bit high for us, but well worth the occasional treat. The food is wonderful, and the outdoor ambiance was lovely. The service was good, but understaffed this particular night, and we were not in any hurry so it was fine. Will definitely return.
It was a beautiful dinner in the garden.
A beautiful garden setting with with a very good menu (limited because of Covid-19). Service is friendly, prompt and attentive.
Had a great time outdoor dining at Washington Crossing Inn! WCI is a staple for my family and we love to go for any special occasion. Since covid hit WCI has been a reliable place to go with a great outdoor garden dining space. I have always felt safe dining at WCI during this pandemic.
Everything was wonderful at Washington Crossing Inn, from the beautiful outdoor garden with very effective heat lamps, to the gracious service to the expertly prepared food. We went to the restaurant for my husband’s birthday. I wrote in my reservation that it was my husband’s birthday but didn’t remind them when I got to the restaurant like I normally would when celebrating an occasion out. Lo and behold, when dessert arrived, a creamy delicious mini cheesecake, it had a lit candle in it. Also, my husband was trying to figure out which wine to get and was down to two choices. He asked for a recommendation and was offered tastes of both. That never happens!! At the end of the evening we asked for a coffee refill, but they had already cleaned the coffeemaker for the evening. Without a word, our server made us each French press coffees. So nice! I am very choosy and I can’t give this restaurant enough of a rave review. We will definitely be back!!
Lovely evening spent at this historic iconic restaurant!
Excellent food, service and outdoor seating was great
The menu did not have many choices. The dessert menu was not reflective of the season. Was expecting more fall inspired choices.
I already filled this out. Lovely place but food is mediocre.
Had lunch with a friend in your outdoor garden area. Service was excellent and food was excellent. The ambiance was outstanding! Can’t wait to come back.
Food was great, but the bread they put out was the worst we have ever had...how do you screw up bread? Lol
We went with another couple, the outside seating was beautiful. Our server was attentive and very pleasant. Everyone wore masks and the menus were throw away. We really appreciated how they adhered to guidelines. The food was excellent. I ordered the seafood pasta special and it was delicious. We all had wonderful salads to start. The propane heater gave just enough extra warmth for a very comfortable outdoor October night. We will be back!
