Service and Food was excellent. Definitely will be retiring🤗🤗
Was great, view is awesome, a bit warm. Potatoes were rather flavourless but that was our only complaint. Service was excellent!
Great food, great service! The view from their back dining area is beautiful.
The food was great, not too salty and have great flavor. The service was great and the window tables had great view.
Everything was amazing, a bit muggy but great. Was a fabulous Father's Day Lunch!
excellent we enjoyed water view
For ourselves 👍
It was great, felt a bit rushed in the beginning because we were told we only have an 1hr 45min to dine bc you were fully booked and needed the table (which is totally understandable) so we rushed to order & eat but we ended up staying till closing anyway with lots of empty tables around us…
Service was great. I know there are time constraints at the moment but it's really not great when your dinners arrive before you have finished your appetizer; we were not particularly slow about sharing our ceasar salad so a few more minutes between courses would have been appreciated.
Nice place to have a nice meal. The staff are so acomodating.
Awesome dinner for my wife’s birthday! Glad to be able to dine out again!
Service was not good and disorganized, we were told 4 times about the 1.5hr time limit….I heard you the first time. Quality of cuisine was good, did not mention anything about my husbands birthday, so next time don’t bother asking what the occasion is.
We love the WAG. People are friendly, food is consistently great and the atmosphere is lively.
The view, service and food were amazing! The reason i gave it a four is because we found shells in our crab cakes and some of the rice in one of our dishes was not fully cooked. They did offer us dessert to make up for the shells which was nice. We've eaten there several times before and the food/serice were always amazing.
Ordered 2 flat iron steaks. Very tough to cut & chewy to eat.
Noise level was more than moderate trying to talk across the table.
Very disappointed compared to earlier visits.
The Washington Avenue Grill never disappoints. The service is impeccable with honest and fun wait staff. The view was beautiful and the food was amazing.
As Always such a pleasure

Our lunch was delicious,I would recommend to anyone.
Being a first time customer, we were pleased with the dining area, nice bright
Sunroom with ocean breezes. Hostess and serving staff very good also.
Would love to try the dinner menu on our next visit.
We are never disappointed at the Washington Avenue Grill, the food was delicious and the view is spectacular. The only one thing I would change is that I would love a few more gluten free vegetarian options (because I'm a high maintenance pain in the butt)
It was late afternoon - best time to go and enjoy ! Great food and service . Our fav restaurant in White Rock.
Loved eating by the sea. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly, and it was a nice place to celebrate.
Amazing food and amazing service! We can't wait to come back!
Walked in and we were asked if we had a reservation said yes and our friends were here. Just looked at us like okay go in. Have never gone to a restaurant and not had a server walk us to our table. Had to look for our friends….! Worst customer service….got told 5-6x that we will be kicked out and only have a two hour window.
Going to try another dish. Hopefully it will be better.
Staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was very good as usual, will always come back there
Excellent sooo tender thick cut prime rib. Good pasta and good Creme Brule. Service was pretty fast once the servers figured out whose table was whose.
We loved all of it with one exception we asked for a window table when booking they told us they could not seat 2 at a table of 4. We understood but before we left they had sat two window tables with 2 people at a table for 4. So that was a bit uncool.
Great service. Mediocre food.
I booked this restaurant for a family members birthday. I did put special notes in my reservation to hopefully sit at a good table (maybe with a view) and also to bring out a creme brulee surprise after dinner (one that I had no issue paying for). It was clear that no one at the restaurant read the reservation notes as we didn't get a good table and they had no idea that there was a birthday and to being out the creme brulee after dinner. I had to alert the server of this and then they brought it - so much for the surprise.
Regarding the food, I have to say that it was just okay. I feel they put too much thyme in the bread they serve at the beginning and this makes the bread taste bitter. I ordered the flank steak and it was served with cauliflower and peas (never had that combination with steak before) and I did not enjoy that. I was expecting a bit higher end like maybe asparagus and mushrooms. If I have to compare this restaurant to a Cactus, Earls or Keg, I have to say the latter are better in all respects. The WAG might be good if one is going for some cocktails or some appies as they do have the view.
So nice to see the restaurant filled with happy customers. We enjoyed ourselves.
we have always enjoyed our meal at WAG. The employees on June 11th were very professional and fun. We will definitely return. I am hoping that the plexi glass barriers remain there for some time.
Wasn’t as good as I had experienced there in the past.
We had a great night at the Washington Avenue Grill. Our server was so great and made out night really fun. The food was amazing! Definitely recommend the brussel sprout appetizer and the Seafood Hot Pot!
Our server, Mike, was very attentive and engaging! Food was excellent!
Great food, drinks and service. Haven’t been here in awhile but wasn’t disappointed
The fish tacos were heavily fried - so much that it was difficult to taste the fish. Disappointed.
We enjoyed a birthday celebration and truly appreciated our server being patient with us as we opened gifts and delayed ordering for a few minutes. Thank you!
We love the W.A.G! However, the service was really poor last night. Had a very new server who made a mistake with the wine, and thought it was appropriate to negotiate with the paying customer, hoping we would cover her mistake. Rather than immediately discussing with her manager. She was trying to haggle like she was in market. It was very annoying to an otherwise beautiful meal. It seems there's some training of very young inexperienced staff happening...this particular one is not representing the W.A.G. well. A shame, but thought you should know. Cannot recommend right now.
Generous portions, delicious food, friendly service. Pretty noisy when we first arrived (around 6:30) but tolerable. Server gave us just the right amount of attention.
A memorable evening with delicious food, personable and professional staff and welcoming atmosphere.
