Had date night with my husband here for the first time last night and had a wonderful experience. Food was delicious, you can taste the freshness of the ingredients from the amuse bouche to the dessert. Proprietary wine also very nice! Great and attentive service. We’ll be back!

Interesting first time experience. Our reservation was for outside. When we arrived the manure smell on the patio was too aromatic so we requested an inside table and they accommodated. Inside lighting and decor are OK, tables are extremely close together. The cheeseboard was delicious, enjoyed the combination of soft and hard as well as the honey, jam and almonds. Wedge salad was good with Point Reyes blue cheese. Osso buco was tender and rested on a nice selection of veggies and polenta.

The food was excellent: everything in season, at the height of freshness, and delicious - everything perfectly done. Our server and the service team were excellent: knowledgeable, professional, friendly, generous. A hidden gem in Sonoma County.

Our whole family enjoyed our dinner at the Walter Hansel restaurant. All of the food was very good from the escargo to the beet salad w salmon to the outstanding Chardonnay. Two of the travel books said to try it. We were all glad that we did.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Walter Hansel Wine & Bistro, dungeness crab crepes and Chicken Condon Bleu. Our waitress Mandy was friendly and professional. Chief Saul stopped at our table to chat and we told him how much we enjoy dining there.
