Visconti's - Leavenworth
chopped romaine, house-made croutons & dressing parmigiano cheese
aioli & fresh lemon
house-made pasta filled w/ spicy italian sausage & ricotta, baked w/ pomodoro & bechamel
Best Italian we have had since moving to the NW 3 years ago. The wine list was excellent as well as the quality of the food and the wait staff. Great dinner to top off a fun birthday celebration day. We will definitely return.
Recommend to a friend!
Friendly, quiet, and pleasant atmosphere.
Came here because of other reviews. Overall pretty average. Chicken Parmesan said it came with a red sauce, which was fine, but showed up with a white cream “sludge” underneath the pasta - so no sure if someone spilled some cream, reused a plate or what. Waiter was nowhere to be found so ended up eating it/leaving almost all the pasta. Dish was just okay. Second entree: lasagna. Totally lacking in any seasoning whatever on-in all ingredients and the sauce (both entrees) was blah/again - no taste. Highlight was the Caesar and beet salads - but $14 each is pricey for what is really a starter size salad.
The wine list was extensive, the menu had a good variety and the food was delicious!
Great flavors. Roasted dates, Brussels sprouts and Spinach Salad are Amazing!
Pasta is good, al dente, good portions although flavors and textures are ok.
For desserts we tried the White Chocolate Cheese cake, and it was really good!
Overall, you will enjoy your meal.
Wonderful dinner. The veal chop was the best I’ve ever had.
The food was mediocre at best.
We were happy to have made a reservation. Restaurant was busy.We arrived early but were seated within 10 minutes. Food was quite good. Menu extensive enough to accommodate most palates.
Food was excellent, service was very professional with a knowledgeable staff, most
After recommendations from a couple people and reviews I was really excited to eat here - the service was decent but the food was very disappointing. Cream sauce tastes watered down and lacked flavor. The salad lacked dressing. And our other meal with duck was mediocre. Waiter was nice but seemed frazzled which I don't hold against him and still tipped him well. Maybe it was a bad night for kitchen but really doubt I'd try it again.
Menu different from website an Open table menu. Need to update!
The device in the bar and dinning room was great. The food was outstanding.
We eat at Visconti's everytime we visit Leavenworth. We have never been disappointed. The food is excellent and most tables offer views of the quaint Germanesque village or the mountains.
We have eaten at Visconti"s and average of 8-10 times per year for the past 22 years.
Have be disappointed lately how they have raised the prices so fast instead of gradual increases.
Delicious food, friendly service, moderate pricing, quiet ambience
4 stars !!
Yes, we will definitely return here to eat when we come back at Christmas : )
Food was delicious!
Amazing food - the crab linguine was spectacular! The full rack of lamb was lacking salt and fat - but overall great. We’ll be back.
Visconti's is a go-to spot for us. Had the lamb rack and tiramasu and pasta with shrimp and we shared Visconti's chocolate bonanza. The server, Randy, was friendly and professional. And, the noise level was the best so far. Great food! Great evening!
Very popular restaurant, server was friendly and efficient. Food was good, not great. Started with salad and the roasted mushroom appetizer. Salad was good, mushrooms were over sauced in a tomato base sauce. Entrees were spaghettini and prawns and chicken/mushroom pasta in cream sauce….both were just okay….spaghettini dish was unbalanced with way too much broccoli and lacked flavor…chicken dish had a very thin runny cream sauce and again lacked flavor. Opted not to order dessert. Would probably not go out of our way to return given the cost of the meal vs quality.
Yummy food, great customer service, great location, will go back again.
Food was horrible. Service was bad. Waiter never told us about specials and hardly checked back if we needed anything.
The food and service were excellent. I really liked the claims. Wish I had another day to eat there again
Excellent food! We have our favorites but seem to find new favorites on the menu or specials of the evening. Great beer, wine and kids menu. We had a new server in training and she was kind!
We were here In may and it was Fantastic-THAT'S WHY WE BOOKED AGAIN. They did not tell us when we sat down for dinner that there were only two waitpersons for over 40 diners...took forever to get a drink then dinner took another 40 mins..I am sure it is a staffing issue and I feel sorry for them...but they should say that when you book and arrive!!
We were excited about our birthday celebration. Due to COVID we had not gone out to many restaurants. After being seated our waitress introduced herself by stating that “she would be both our waitress and bartender”. We came to learn she was the bartender for the entire restaurant. We started with the olive appetizers…they were horrible. Just button mushrooms in a marinara….nothin like your wildflour or larch competitors. We had to wait a full 30 minutes for the waitress to come back….and it was someone else, we think the manager. Never got an apology or anything. We then had to wait another 35 min for our dinner to arrive. The food itself was mediocre- rate a 2 for the pasta and 3 for the lamb. No follow up service as in “how is your meal”? Several tables arriving after we ordered initial drinks were finished with dinners about the time we received ours. No thank you, no follow ups, no mention of the birthday.
One of the poorest experiences we have ever had in a restaurant 😳
Always great service, friendly staff, and good food. We come here at least six times a year from Wenatchee.
Food and service were excellent. The only issue was the noise, several large parties were seated in the same area. We were hoping for a nice quiet dinner.
Great waitress! Very helpful and attentive and fun….
Food was good.
Disappointed there was nothing special about our night as this was
a birthday reservation and had requested a special dessert.
Our bill had to be corrected as we never received the appetizer we ordered.
The Salmon special was cooked well and tasted great.
All good except that my wife couldn’t eat all of the large shrimp because they were too spicy. That’s unusual for her
The food was okay but nothing spectacular. We ordered cannoli, fettuccine, Caesar salad, and Prawns. The portions were normal. Our waiter was polite enough ( when he spoke loud enough for us to hear him) but gave an overall presence that he’d really rather not be there. My iced tea was never refilled and did not send anyone to do it for him. The waiters assistant was young, never spoke when taking our plates even when we thanked him. The music was definitely not diner music. I think the cook was rocking out and we had to make the best of it. It wasn’t bad but when you pay the upper end prices you expect more.
Wonderful food. Great and fast service. Would definitely come back
Excellent pasta and steak. Waitress had only been there 4 days and she was exceptional!
Weekday evening was the best time. No problem getting a reservation. Everything was excellent.
Excellent food and service. The wild caught prawns were amazing. My wife loved her ravioli.
Not inexpensive, but the food is FABULOUS! Our server, Edgar, was very knowledgeable about the menu, and made great suggestions for us. I was impressed that a side salad ($5.00 with an entree) was HUGE! I had Linguine with Clam Sauce, my husband had Canneloni with grilled sausage added...for dessert, I had Lemon Ricotta Cake and hubby had Affogato -- which is gelato with espresso on top. For a "fancy" restaurant, casual dress is acceptable -- it is a touristy town, after all. Everything was delicious, the service was wonderful, and we will be back again!
We had a great meal. The veal chop was to die for.
Entrees were excellent. Lamb for me and Ocean Prawn for my wife. Service was great! Only negative was the Pancetta Prawn appetizer. It tasted off somehow. I think it was the bacon. We have had this appetizer in the past and it was excellent. Not so much this time.
A nice choice in Leavenworth for those of us who are not looking for German food. Great salad and pasta dishes
Great food. Kitchen was out of the special pasta. Staff seemed anxious to wrap up and close. It was 9:15 pm. All in all, worthwhile.
