Visconti's - Leavenworth
Agnello - Rack of Lamb*
herb & garlic marinated
house-made pasta filled w/ spicy italian sausage & ricotta, baked w/ pomodoro & bechamel
chopped romaine, house-made croutons & dressing parmigiano cheese
Service was decent. The veal chop I ordered was medium-medium well, not medium-rare as requested. My fiancee’s fettuccine was watery. I would have expected the food to be a bit more on point. Would probably try again to be fair to the business but wasn’t thrilled.
Love this joint
Food was amazing and customer service was spectacular
Food was DELICIOUS. Kyle was very engaging and entertaining as a host for the evening. I'm going to have to come back just for that bread and oil alone, it was that good. Though it might be a little more expensive than any regular place, Visconti's is worth every bit and provided great service and quality food.
My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful meal overlooking the pretty lights of Leavenworth. The service was excellent and we were very happy with our meals. The shared chocolate dessert topped off our Valentines meal with an Exclamation mark.
I realize that we are in the midst of a pandemic, but if Open Table has the time to email me asking how was my experience - you should first take your time to reach out to all the restaurants (or at least take their calls and/or emails) to take them off your list. Visconti's no longer using OpenTable as a mean of reservations, since they are walk ins only at this time, so the fact that I had a reservation via Open Table and you in fact confirmed it - is very upsetting and dissatisfying. Since we had to go home hungry. The wait lines everywhere were over 3 hr long and we didn't account for that. So here is my review - OpenTable SUCKS!!!!!
Granted Visconti's servers were not at all accommodating or care the fact that OpenTAble screwed us over, but that's a different review.
The moral of this story - don't trust OpenTable with making reservations, just call the restaurants directly.
Literally my favorite restaurant in Washington. Inslee just closed everything down again but I'm sure takeout is great. Go support them!
Great food and service. Joe and Daniel were superb!
We found the menu to be quite interesting and varied.
This was a 45th anniversary special dinner for us, and we were delighted with the entire evening.
Were seated at reservation time; pleasant staff. Food was mediocre and seemed way over-priced.
Asia was amazing! She made our celebration very special. Thank you!
The food was amazing! Our two appetizers consisted of sautéed calamari and mushrooms in a delicious tomato sauce. I ordered the salmon dinner and it is one of the best pieces of salmon I have ever eaten. My husband got a shrimp pasta dish that was delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
We were celebrating a special occasion and made a reservation online early in the day. When we arrived to the restaurant, we were told our table wasn’t ready and it would be a bit of a wait. The hostess told us we could sit at the bar area though with no wait. We politely declined and said we would wait for our table. She kept trying to tell us we should eat at the bar because sports were on and the food menu was the same. The table was also near the door and I expressed that I get cold easily. After declining again, she even brought us to the table to check it out! I said no again and went to stand in the corner to wait and that’s when she said “fine, seat them now.” We were brought to a table within 30 seconds. After that experience, we did not feel welcome at the restaurant. We noticed the waitress helped the table next to us 3 times before even coming over and greeting us. We didn’t want to be rude and walk out so we decided to share a plate of food. Thankful we shared a plate of food because the food was terrible. The bread was super stale. I’m from New York and have grown up with good Italian food so it was very odd to see a cream sauce served with chicken parm. We expressed that it was terrible and didn’t eat the pasta and she replied “oh you don’t like a pomodoro sauce.” I was not served a pomodoro sauce. Instead of offering us pasta with sauce, she just took our plate away. Also she knew we were sharing the dish and didn’t bring us a second plate. We met another couple at our hotel who also had a terrible experience that night too. This place is definitely not worth the reviews it has.
Kyle was an outstanding waiter! We really enjoyed the evening.
Great food and service loved the lamb and duck with pumpkin ravioli.
Food and service was excellent . Will definitely return
Fantastic food! I've only been a few times and can't get past the rack of lamb. Best I've ever had and compare other places to here.
Very good food. Great service. Good wine.
Service was prompt and responsive. My wife's grilled prawn was dish was overcooked and loaded with oil. My shrimp with fettuccine was as promised; about the lightest pasta dish on their menu. Their bread was very flavorful; particularly with their seasoned olive oil.
Chicken Parma was inedible, waiter was oblivious that we even there, and they gave away our table to wakens even though we made a reservation a week prior for our anniversary.
Good food, good service. I’ve eaten here several times over the last 5 years and I’ll be back again, I’m sure of it.
Food quality was very poor, had to send meal back as the short rib was entirely fat and the pasta served with it was dry and bland.
We were greeted by Coco at the front, who was extremely Cordial. Our server Paul did an fantastic job and we couldn't thank them all.
Food and service was great
We found the food to be a revelation! The veal saltimboca was alchemy in that the whole was truly greater than the sum of its parts, and the spagetti was so much more than just a side dish, the light peppery, almost smoky flavor complimented the veal very well. The lasagna was extremely good, with a fresh, light red sauce. The Affogato was a delightful finish to a wonderful meal. Visconti's will always be on our must-do list whenever in Leavenworth.
Wonderful birthday dinner all around! Great food & wine, and perfect service.
Beautiful place. We were late to our reservation but they accommodated us anyway. Such wonderful staff. Thank you KYLE, for being an awesome server. !!!!
Not a fan! One of our entrees was the New York steak. We asked for medium rare we received a well done steak that looked like it has been boiled and it was also seared only on one side.
We had an amazing dinner, probably the best pork ribs ever! Our server was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening
Dinner at this restaurant was delicious. Unfortunately, not great for lunch
Went for our anniversary. Great choice. Solid wine menu with a great variety of regional options also. Food was fantastic and the service was great. Was an all-around great experience. Hostess Coco was a delight!
The chef's board was good as was the chicken parmesan but it did seem a bit over priced. Had requested during time of reservation to be seated outdoors but that was not available. The inside seating is very bright and there was a lot of foot traffic so not very good for our date night. Our server was fine but not very attentive.
What a wonderful restaurant. Food is outstanding. Wait staff couldn't have been more pleasant and accommodating. Truly a treat!!
Anniversary- it was good just not exceptional.
I have been going to Visconti’s for years and was really looking forward to ordering chicken Marsala which is no longer available. Please bring it back!
We had reservations for an anniversary dinner. They were spot on in taking us to our table at the appointed reservation time. The food is excellent and has some good authentic Italian dishes on the menu. The wait staff is very attentive. My only complaint of the whole evening is that their wait staff doesn't write down orders at your table. I have been to hundreds of restaurants that do this practice. Not sure if they think it looks more posh to not have a pad and paper, or just what, but out of every 100 restaurants that do this, the person having to remember the order gets it wrong 95 out of 100, and this place was no exception. We shared 1 salad and each ordered 1 entree with zero modifications, and no drinks, so you would think they could remember the 3 item order 12 steps back to the kitchen to punch it in the machine, but of course, a completely different dish came out than what I ordered. They were fast to replace it with the right one, but still....meanwhile, my polite husband insisted on letting his hot dish go cold while they made my correct entree. If I could only change ONE thing about this restaurant, it would be to have them write down orders, then it would be perfect!
Amazing food, very fresh, you can tell its made fresh every day
Good food and great service. Had a great evening.
We took friends visiting from out of town. Food was fantastic and service really good. We love this place and are never disappointed.
Love this restaurant! We visit Leavenworth 3-4 times each year and always eat at Visconti's at least once. We usually avoid the busy times but even with the extra people in town [this time] we were able to get in here and have a wonderful meal.
Consistently outstanding restaurant. Very professional but friendly and courteous. I would go back at any opportunity and definitely refer friends to Visconti's.
