My life, who requires Gluten Free was favorable impressed with the linguine
Great atmosphere. Strong drinks.
When in town we enjoy eating a gluten free meal here. Always tasty, great service, and especially good coffee too.
They made a special effort for my daughter’s birthday.
We asked for two appetizers, only one came out. The food after appetizers took to long ( 30+ minutes ) to get. When we asked about it the waiter stated one of the dishes was burned twice by a new cook. Third time was a charm for that dish (beef short ribs) as it actually tasted good. However, the other three pasta dishes were disappointing, one of which was comped as it was just not edible.
Great server. Great food and great place to celebrate my birthday.
Slow service but great food
I have dined here may times and have loved the food and the service. This time the service was terrible and the food was not good either, I ordered the special, which was the maui maui and it was so over seasoned I could not even taste my fish. We ordered drinks and 2 appetizers first thing when our server came by. We received one of the appetizers within 10 min. Then in about another 10 min we received our salads, still no drinks. Then 5 min later we received our entrees. At this point we still had still not received our drinks ( 2 glasses of wine), and still had not received our 2nd appetizer (meat and cheese plate). We asked the server who brought us our entrees, different server than the one that took our order. Then they brought our drinks and the 2nd appetizer, So at this point we haven't even eaten half our salads and we have both entrees and now the 2nd appetizer and finally our drinks. It was just not the experience that I have had in the past. I had raved about this place and looked forward to going and was very let down.
It was fabulous! Our waitress was Nancy, and she was a sweetheart. Loved the local wine list!
Disappointed in my meal. The server laughed when I asked if spaghetti and meatballs were available which resulted in me feeling stupid for asking so I did not order it. We were not offer cheese with meal, I had to request it. My dish lacked flavor I added lots of salt and pepper and balsamic for flavor. The visual presentation of my dish looked like the raviolis were taken out of the pot and placed in a bowl and that’s it. We were not offered more oil for bread when out.
We will not be returning and will not be recommending it to our friends.
Lovely spot in the middle of town. Sat on the deck which was fun. Food was good for the price.
It’s not easy to find a fine dining restaurant in Leavenworth, WA. Thanks to our cabin owner we we’re referred to Visconti’s. It was excellent. Starting with a nice glass of wine and a fresh spinach salad with plenty of warm bacon, followed by the best Porch chop I’ve ever eaten, served on a delicious mushroom risotto. Other guests chose steaks and Italian, they were very pleased with their selections as well. Highly recommend
Pork chop and risotto was great. Chop was grilled well and risotto tasty and well seasoned. The chicken Parm was good although quite under-seasoned. This entree came with spaghetti and marinara which was very acidic and bland. Not quite the usual Visconti’s quality.
The pasta dish had no flavor, the chicken was boiled with no flavor, and the mushrooms were from a can, not fresh! The house salad was good and fresh!
We were visiting Leavenworth for the weekend and wanted to have a nice dinner st an Italian restaurant. The dinner, service, and wine very good. I had the grilled butterflied shrimp and my hubby had the mixed seafood and pasta. We loved it, and our waiter Leon was just awesome.
Great Italian cooking. Had the Limone chicken. Excellent. Pesto mashed potatoes a bit too strongly seasoned but overall a good entree. Chicken not over cooked. Considering we were in Leavenworth and eating Italian??? Week, I was impressed!!
Great spot for excellent Italian food in the central Cascades
We had a delicious meal--I especially loved the burrata appetizer and the $3 salad upgrade was worth it!
Cannelloni was amazing! Great outdoor seating area. Fantastic service and amazing food
Great place that’s an option besides beer, pretzels, schnitzel, and sauerkraut.
Unfortunately, our table’s orders got mixed up with another’s, so each table’s orders got split...my partner got his dish while what I ordered went to the next table (ordered same as me).
Would have made sense to either give me that dish, so we could eat together...or take back my partner’s to keep warm while waiting for mine.
My partner’s food got cold waiting for my plate to arrive...he’s not rude to eat while others wait.
Overall, the food was great. Just what we expected. Pricing is what you’d expect of a resort town, but not completely unreasonable.
Great atmosphere and great food.
As good as the last time my wife and I dined while in Leavenworth! Definitely recommend!
Pleasant atmosphere, food okay, service needs some work but friendly.
Overpriced for what you get but service was great nice ambience
First time there. Food was excellent as was the service. Plan on returning!
I always eat here when in Leavenworth. Food is consistent, specialty drinks are excellent. Our server was good but seemed to rush us even when the restaurant wasn't that busy. I like to finish my cocktail before the main course and have a glass of wine with dinner but that didn't happen as food came much too quickly even after special request.
Date night for my wife and I. We’ve been here before and it’s usually good, not great. Not sure if they have a new chef but both our meals (chicken parm and pork saltimbuco) were delicious. Exceeded our expectations for sure. Keep up the great work. We’ll definitely be back.
We sat outside on the upper deck and had it to ourselves. The waiter was great and the food was fabulous. The arugula beat salad was excellent. I ordered the special which was an asparagus and prawn pasta with a light cream sauce, exceptional and a large enough portion that i took 1/2 of it home with me. The view from the deck was spectacular. We will definitely be back.
Whenever we visit Leavenworth we always have at least one dinner at Visconti's. Sometimes we do two! Love the atmosphere, selection and the service that we always receive when we visit. This was a mid week visit so it was fairly quiet. We got great service and had a beautiful seat looking out over the main street. I went with the special which was grilled halibut served on a bed of mushroom and asparagus risotto. It was so delicious. The halibut was cooked perfectly. My husband got his stand by favorite - Cannelloni. I stole a couple of bites and it was also delicious.
The service was incredible. Our waiter was really kind and timely. The bar service was great also. The only complaint I had was that two of us ordered the filet. One of us ordered medium rare, the other ordered medium well. Both steaks were completely over cooked. My steak should have been medium rare, but had zero pink inside. My waiter did offer to bring me another, but the group was already into their meal so I opted not to wait. For such a nice restaurant, the kitchen staff should be trained on how to properly do a steak. However, I will be back! We love the restaurant and the staff. This was my first time ordering steak, so it seems to be a problem with that meal only. We had a nice time.
Food was very good service needs to be better. Lack of attention
Perfect setting and service. We persuaded our server to let us take the ordering at our own pace, and had a lovely time as a result.
We came for a relaxing get away, we had dinner 3 nights in a row and each night did not disappoint, food was fabulous, service was outstanding, can't wait for our next Leavenworth get away, we will definitely be visiting Visconties again.
1st time in the spring and during the week, such a contrast from coming in December! Quiet meal and everything was fantastic! They do not read open table requests though.
Made reservations based on other reviews. I was not disappointed. I enjoyed the caprese salad and minestrone soup. My parter had a salad with chicken. Food was excellent, delivered promptly, and waiter was very good about checking on us throughout the meal.
We were very excited to get to go out of town for our anniversary. We had 1 night away in Leavenworth, and chose to go to visconti’s. The ambiance is terrible for what is charged. The carbonara was terrible. Worst Bellini I’ve ever had. Our server couldn’t manage to speak pound enough to be heard. She didn’t share the specials with us, we heard the dinner special when a difference server was telling his table about it. Overall, worst dining experience we’ve had in a long time.
The food was excellent. Started with the meat board and smoked bacon was to die for. Accompanied that with the sautéed calamari, also an excellent starter. Continued on with rack of lamb and spaghetti bolognese. Lastly the tiramisu. We thought everything had great flavor. Would definitely go back.
Great little Italian restaurant!.
Service was great. Food was good. We were seated in a corner window seat. The view was great but the windows seemed to let cold radiate through them or something. It was pretty cold. Noise level was higher than I expected. I intended to propose there after dinner but it was way too noisy. We ended up going down the road under the trees thatvwere out up
The food was amazing. The shrimp scampi entree was outstanding. The New York Steak was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The filet was not as flavorful as the New York. The lemon crab linguini was not that great. The tiramisu was good. The server was not very friendly, but the restaurant was charming.
