Great food and wonderful service.
Had the BEST fried chicken dinner I’ve ever tasted!! It was the special on a Thursday night. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant!!
It was awesome!
Very good brunch. Had “The” omelette was really good. Also, if you love onions, must try the onion casserole! Service was great. Would definitely recommend. Tyler was awesome.
The Mac and cheese was out of this world!
Went for Brunch. This is hands down one of the best Brunch spots in Charleston. The service is always very good. The food never disappoints. The provided masks and tables were socially distanced. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Can get single items if you want.
We were in the mood for pancakes but got so much more and everything was delicious. I ordered a blt sandwich and the waitress recommended the Mac and cheese as a side. I’ve never had good Mac and cheese from any restaurant- this was freaking amazing!!!!
Fantastic brunch, what a great find!!
Great place to take guests from off- authentic low country fare, wonderful southern hospitality & service.
We very much enjoyed our anniversary brunch! The shrimp and grits were perfect as well as my husband's chicken and waffles.
Great food. The crab cake Benedict was delicious and the service great!! Great place for Sunday brunch!!
The food was incredible! Loved the shrimp and grits and my friend got the chicken pot pie. It was a whole pie and absolutely delicious!
We had a great time at Virginia’s! Tara was our waitress, and she was awesome. Great service and very friendly and knowledgeable. Food and drinks were wonderful as well. Atmosphere was relaxed and chill.
What a lovely, charming establishment! We visited for my boyfriends birthday and everything was great! Prime location, great food for a great value, kind staff, respectful of Covid19. We would definitely recommend to all of our friends/family!
Our first time for dinner at Virginia's, mainly because it is only open for dinner Thursday - Saturday, and we were usually in Charleston earlier in the week.
Service was attentive and helpful, spacing due to COVID-19 was appropriate, and the food was delicious. Our dinners were Meat Loaf and the Chicken Pot Pie. Please be aware that the chicken pot pie serving is enough to 2 people - something we were not aware of. The meals were very tasty and our overall impression was quite favorable.
The service and food was outstanding. We loved the onion casserole!
Seated quickly- food was delivered to table quickly and was delicious! Attentive server - will return
Simply perfectly cooked food! With a welcoming professional service staff.
The corn bread and fried chicken were
A revelation and should not be missed
They had a machine making a weird noise upstairs. It’s not their fault but, it made it tougher to eat there.
I took my girlfriend to breakfast for our anniversary. The service was outstanding and the food was amazing. Our waitress was Tara, she created the best experience. The cook (aka the food artist) Vern made the best fried chicken that I had in my life!!!! Whatever you get from Virginia’s make sure fried chicken is apart of the entree. You are the Man Vern!!!!!
Great staff and exceptional breakfast. Have to try their sausage gravy and biscuit!
The food and service were excellence! The tables were socially distanced and all patrons and staff wore masking while walking around. We felt very safe dining at Virginia's. I would highly recommend it!
It had been a while since I was at VIRGINIA's and I took advantage of having out-of-town visitors to return - it seemed a great Lowcountry Venue for breakfast.
Overall we had a good experience. The food was as tasty as I remember it, and the ambiance is pleasant without being pretentious. The only negative was the service - the young man who took care of us was rather indifferent, and never seemed to be anywhere nearby when we needed additional coffee, etc. Hopefully this was just an aberration. But if not, being in the "Hospitality City" they definitely need to take it up a notch!
YUM! To it all!
It was very very loud on the second floor.
Our server was fantastic. She made the entire experience. I didn’t catch her name but she worked Sunday brunch this past weekend. We were the table with the couple who just got engaged.
Wonderful breakfast. Sausage gravy and biscuits were one of the best I have ever had
My wife and I had never ate at this restaurant before and throughly enjoyed ourselves. I had the BBQ salmon, onion casserole and collard greens. My wife had the fried pork chop, collards, and mac & cheese. All the food taste great and they did an outstanding job with the collard greens! I will go again and try a different dish...I heard the fried chicken is great tasting too! Our waitress offered us the Key Lime pie and banana pudding but we were stuffed!
Best eggs I've ever had! I'm not sure what they do to them but they are always fantastic. The staff was great.
Wonderful brunch experience dining on our anniversary trip! Great service and even better food!
Perfectly executed breakfast! Fried chicken was so tender and quite delicious. Many places struggle to make “over medium” fried eggs- not at Virginia’s! Bacon was done perfectly, too. Excellent experience - looking forward to our next trip back!
We ordered take out for dinner and the food was so good we went back for brunch the next day. Fantastic food and even better dining in person!
Good chicken and waffles. Thought the biscuits were a little dry, but the strawberry mango jam was good!
Highly recommend outdoor seating with the nice city views! Very friendly waiters and waitresses and excellent food
We arrived for a 7pm reservation and were promptly seated yet waited over 15 minutes for our waitress to greet us. Food was good but service was really poor overall. Waitress didn’t visit our table to follow up until we were half way finished with our meal. We requested additional cornbread at that time and it was never brought to the table. Food didn’t compensate for the poor service. Wouldn’t return.
Delicious, authentic Southern cuisine. Best Prosecco in town!
Brunch was fantastic. Everything was delicious and worth every calorie!
Great service and amazing food. Best shrimp and grits I have ever had.
We made reservations for brunch and were not disappointed. The food was fantastic. The fried green tomatoes were a great starter. We enjoyed pancakes, biscuit and gravy, and fried chicken! It was all top notch. Just make sure you a reservation because this place was hopping on a Saturday morning.
