Fantastic service. One of the best waiters ever—she was outstanding. A+ for the food as well. Our only complaint is the LOUD music. Had to raise our voices to be heard. What is the point of overly loud music? You don’t need it!

Everything was great!! except fpr the fact that I had asked for a window table. 1. for the view and 2. because my husband is a larger person and booths are very uncomfortable for him. I had paid for the rose petals and champagne so I did want to move.

Vintana is the best, first class restaurant in inland North County. Sitting on top of North County Lexus car Dealership the view to the north is great overlooking the fountain at the entrance. The restaurant is fantastic. A large outside bar/dinner area is covered with umbrellas. The restaurant is large and the food is great. The service is top notch. Highly recommended.

The seating on the terrace was beautiful. However, the service here has always been stellar but not this time. Our waiter was spread too thin. I noticed there were far fewer servers than normal. When asked, he said they were having trouble getting enough help. Hmmm.
Food: + The wedge salad was delicious and only $8.00 during Happy Hour. $8 martini made with Ciroc vodka. Smooth. - But the filet trio was disappointing because 2 of 3 were overcooked and all three of my friend’s were well-done though she requested medium plus. One filet had a strange texture. * When I ordered this last time, it was perfection.
Warning: When using a Cohn gift card, know your previous balance and check the receipt. We both were credited less than our gift card balances. When the server tried to redo and correct the problem unsuccessfully, we became frustrated and gave up, suffering a loss of about $10.00 each! (Maybe Google your gift card balance beforehand and take a screenshot. I will in the future!)
So overall, food and service has gone downhill and ultimately, I blame Vintana’s management. (At another Cohn restaurant, C Level on Harbor Island, food and service is still as wonderful as always.)

Nice roof top seating area but we’re sat in the sun with no shade. The food was good just a bit over priced for what it was.

We had 2 kids and they didn’t get there fruit salad. The fresh garden salad had some brown lettuce and looked like it was the end of the lettuce. Everything else was great.

We love ALL COHN restaurants so we were disappointed in the quality of the food on Mother's day.

The popover and the potato leak soup was good. The mango tart was good, but that was about all.

The fish was very dry and seemed overcooked. The pasta was not anything worth remembering. The chocolate dessert and the peach cobbler were both dry and tasteless.

We've been going to Vintana since they've opened, but this meal was probably the best we've had. The oysters, seabass and cobbler were all outstanding.
I don't think our server was aware of the amuse bouche because we had to remind him and it came after the first course... haha!

Every time I come here I am so disappointed in the service. It ALWAYS takes 15-20 minutes to get a drink. The outdoor bar is the worst I've ever been to and it is that way every time I come here. I keep hoping it will improve but it does not.
The food is good but overpriced.

The rice was underdone. It was still hard. The sauce was good though so I ate it because I was hungry after waiting about an hour for our food.

We were celebrating Mother’s Day a little early. This was our first outing for dinner since Covid began. Your staff made us feel so comfortable and welcome and the spacing of your tables was absolutely perfect! Sitting outside was very comfortable. The food was amazing! We so enjoyed our evening and your waiter, Kevin, was superb! Looking forward to coming back again!

We love Vintana! Our group has had their quarterly meetings here for years now. The service is always exceptional and the atmosphere is beautiful. This restaurant did an amazing job navigating the challenges and restrictions of COVID. The only thing that we will be most patient for are some new menu items. Since we are frequent customers, we have had everything twice! And although all menu items are outstanding, it would be awesome to try something new since the team is so talented and knows how to do food! Thank you Vintana!

Vintana used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but after my most recent experience, it will be awhile before we return. My husband and I made a reservation for a date night, one of our first away from the kids since things have begun to open up a bit post quarantine. We made a reservation for an outdoor table at 4:30, and when we arrived and were greeted by the hostess, she asked if we wanted to wait until 5 pm as they could seat us in another area outdoors? Really, why would we want to wait until 5 if we made a reservation at 4:30. And their “8 for 8” Happy Hour ends at 5 pm? So, she showed us to a table at our 4:30 reservation time, and someone came by with water if the first few minutes. After that, no one came to our table. We waited for 18 more minutes, wait staff waiting on tables right next to ours, and crickets, nothing! Finally, my husband caught the eye of the manager who was re-arranging tables near us and asked if we could get some service. His name was Robert and he immediately took our drink orders and assigned us a waiter that had table way across the outdoor space - we hadn’t seen him at all while waiting the 20 minutes. The waiter’s name was Josh and he was super attentive, and took really good care of us. The food was average, drinks were good. I understand there are shortages of staff post quarantine, however, there were plenty of staff standing around doing nothing while we sat there being ignored. Robert and Josh did save the day but nothing was comped for the experience which was disappointing. Definitely not the Vintanna I remember pre-quarantine and will be awhile before we return.

Very disappointed in the service. My wife and son were served their entrees and I had to wait at least 15min. before my meal was served. Waitress didn't check in at all to let us know that there was a delay on my meal. I have dined here many times without any problems in the past. We were also told they no longer accept the Passport dining cards which was disappointing. The server told us she would give us a voucher for our next visit and then she didn't. I understand restaurants have been under extremely difficult times during Covid, especially with finding good talent/help. Not sure if I will be dining here again?

Our service and meal were excellent. Started with the crab cake and fried artichoke. Both were very good. The can cake was shaped in a high stack instead of the typical patty. It was very pleasing to the eye and very tasty with the awesome sauce and lemon that it was served with. We had NY strip steaks and on person had fish. The fish looked very good and our steaks were delicious. We'll be back soon.

Our table was next to a fire pit and covered with rose petals. The perfect level of romance for our anniversary dinner. Our waiter, Josh, was incredibly friendly and thoughtful. We come to Vintana for anniversaries, birthdays, and other special occasions. This was one of our favorite experiences. Josh’s service and kindness was impeccable.

Horrendous customer service. Waitress seemed bothered to serve us, was missing most of the time. Drinks were empty for 15 minutes at a time on multiple occasions. Staff was cleaning up, sweeping and shutting down around our table. Had we been waited on properly we wouldn’t have had to stay so late. For what this restaurant is supposed to be, it was very disappointing, and mostly just embarrassing seeing as how we went to celebrate a birthday with people who hadn’t been before and I suggested it. Big mistake.
