Vintana Wine & Dine Ratings and Reviews
I brought my parents here a few years ago for their anniversary. This time I treated them and my sister to a comfortable dining experience. The food is always excellent and you can dress casual or dress up. It's up to you. I love coming to this place because the food and service always lives up to my expectations. I highly recommend them.
It was my husband's 60th birthday. We live in Escondido but he had never been there. I had been there several times for lunch but never dinner. It was a great experience and a fun way to celebrate his birthday. Our waiter was very professional, the view was amazing and the wine and food was great. We really enjoyed ourselves.
This was both of ours first visit and will be definitely coming back! The food was explosive with flavors, every bite was extraordinary! Oysters were the best we've ever had the red wine vinegar with apples to pair with the oysters was brilliant! The sea bass exceptionally cooked and a burst of flavors! Birthday dessert was delicious and our waiter Dante was a pleasure! We loved the live music we we're lucky enough to enjoy prior to seating! Perfect evening
I have been to this restaurant several times and have always been very happy with my meal ....there’s really not much more to say than that that’s a pretty high standard for me. Absolutely love that they serve popovers for bread with honey butter it’s wonderful!
Always good for a special-occasion celebration!
Expensive so we don't come often - prices are too high! And the menu doesn't change much. The same offerings over the last year or two - skirt steak is toooo spicy!
THANKS for dividing the salad - plenty for each of us.
We had shrimp linguine and the crusted sea bass which we both enjoyed.
Service is cheerful and efficient from the front desk greeters to the waitress to the popovers to the meals to the water refills to the key lime dessert - your employees all get gold stars!
Manager Greg offered, "If you need anything, just let me know" so I asked for a donated gift card for our Woman's Club of Vista scholarships raffle. He gave me his card and I've sent the request.
I love to choose Vintana when we have a special occasion!
Food server was very pleasant but she must have been very busy as her attention to our table was very inadequate.
My husbands fish was mushy. Our potatoes were cold. Expresso machine was not working. I asked for a refill on my drink when my food arrived, it didn’t come so I finally asked another server.
Last time the 6 of us were at Vintana’s it was excellent but this time it was very disappointing.
Our food server was very nice and we are not sure if she was just very busy elsewhere or what.
It was a Saturday night, but the service was off, way off. We waited for 20 minutes for our wine and the meals close to an hour. The quality once we got it was excellent. Our waiter was pleasant but stressed and appeared overworked. Rumor has it that there are management issues going on. Based on our experience I have to agree. I hope it gets resolved soon.
Overall one of the nicest spots we went to dine in the north county.
Our waiter seemed a little off and it took an
Unbelievable amount of time to get our coffee
At the end of the meal
However this would not stop us
From returning again
The food was good and served hot
Not sure if there is a new chef and vintana, but the food was terrible. Every plate we ordered had to be sent back and it resulted in us receiving our plates at different times and not eating together. Such a disappointment. Management tried hard to fix it by sending more food our way, but even what they brought us out was sub quality. A huge difference from our past visits. Such a shame.
Food was good but the service was slow. Our waiter did not come to check on us very often. Gave me the wrong entree and it took a long time for tgectight food to be brought out. Everyone else was done eating by the time I got mine. Manager was nice enough to remove the charge for my meal though.
Took a few colleagues here for an appreciation lunch on a Friday. Choice table overlooking the fountain. Not too crowded, but good energy. Food and service both awesome. Highly recommend for a business function. Kim Chee Pork Belly Reuben with a slightly dirty vodka martini.
My sister and I enjoyed a lovely Saturday brunch, with a fantastic view, on our way to San Diego. The fancy coconut drink was deeeelicious and our meals were excellent. We topped it off with a sweet appetizer of bacon wrapped dates. We promised each other to return very soon.
