Server friendly and not sure it was totally his fault since they had just reopened after being closed from rona lockdown but the food came out slow as Christmas.
Ordered a smaller portion oyster appetizer since only one of us eats seafood and received the large portion and was charged for it. (Didn’t make an issue because I was starved from waiting and frankly thought they gave us more since we waited so long).
Didn’t have the full menu out either. Filet was fine but over priced, not comparable to other choices in the area.
The server was kind enough to recognize our anniversary and did give us a complimentary dessert - the chocolate peanut butter pie was excellent.
The food was amazing and the ambiance was truly special. We were pleasantly surprised and loved our dinner there. Joshua was a great waiter and the food was absolutely incredible. We can’t wait to go back.
While a bit lacking in character, always excellent food and service.
Good meal for Restaurant week. Its a Hassle getting there and parking...its basically a hotel restaurant
We popped over for dinner during restaurant week. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service was excellent, as well as the beautiful ocean view.
Our meal was very good and nice presentation . A little on the pricey side as most restaurants in hotels are.
Dinner salad & grouper were very good. Soup was so-so. Three diners ordered filet and they were all tough. Dessert cookie was just OK.
First off, the restaurant is in The Embassy Suites Hotel, have to go thru a guarded gate for a pass. Went for restaurant week, Jan. 2020. You really don't get a lot for what you pay, don't get me wrong, we were full when finished. No salad included or bread. 3 course for $30, got a very small cup of soup and the hush puppies were very tiny (5) with no taste. Got more for our money at Parson's Table in Little River.
We tried this restaurant during restaurant week 2020. Everything was just “ok”. If you are staying on property it’s fine I would not make this a destination location restaurant
All team members are great however as most they are used to travelers therefore spend no time interacting with the customer. Portions were small and food served warm at best restaurant did not make an impression
Our waiter, Joshua, was spectacular with his Team of support members. Grilled oysters were a great starter.
Steak was awesome, done correctly, very nice presentation, sweet potato hash was a nice treat, and the collards were to die for‼️
Will definitely go back, great view, great value, and great Southern Hospitality
We loved our New Years Eve meal at Vintage Twelve. Service was excellent. Food was incredible and beautifully presented. Myrtle Beach is not really known for fine dining (think quantity over quality) but this restaurant is completely different. We're still talking about the evening.
Overall it was a very nice dining experience. We were there after a 7 hour drive on Christmas Day for dinner. The food was excellent and the service was as well. I’d recommend it and I will go again.
Prime rib very tasty. Bread basket could be improved.
Our server Jack was excellent, very friendly and helped us with menu selection. Food was delicious, I had sliced pork and cheese grits. My wife had Mac and cheese and wedge salad. Dessert was peanut butter pie, fantastic, highly recommended.
Food was fantastic. The view right on the beach is breathtaking!
Such a great meal! We were seated late, so we were the only people in the restaurant, but our waiter and bartender treated us as though we had all the time in the world to complete our meal. And the entree was quite amazing. Highly recommend!
We've been coming to MB for about 30 years. Have dined at Vintage 12 several times. Chef, food, atmosphere, staff is always excellent. Online reservations made arranging very easy.
A great dining experience.
My wife and I had an enjoyable time. Portions were a bit small for the money. Service was good and we had a nice view of the ocean. Overall good.
Food & Service were great. I was there for about 1 1/2 hours. What was not great was being forced to listen to 6 people carrying on very loudly in the open kitchen about parties past & future. Things that happen at these parties and then loudly announcing PARTY TIME to lots of laughter. I spent good money to have a good meal and relax. Did not meet my expectations.
Held a small birthday celebration & they were VERY accommodating. Lovely setting.
We did not know that this restaurant was inside Embassy Suites. Food was average at above average prices.
The grouper and the sword fish were good. The grilled oysters were the worst I ever had ! Do not order them
You have to get the Truffle Mac n Cheese with crab. So good! Our waitress was awesome.
Our server was great. The seafood tower was phenomenal! The prime rib special was rather lackluster. We ordered 2 prime rib specials. One was so over cooked we sent it back and it was immediately replaced. I was happy with how the mistake was immediately rectified, but it was rather tasteless. The other one was ordered rare and showed up medium— it had better flavor than the other one. Would not order prime rib special from here again. Would come back for beautiful ocean view, excellent service, and seafood tower!
Excellent....steak was prepared perfectly at medium; best wedge salad ever; chocolate martini for dessert was perfect. Service was attentive but not intrusive.
Jack was an exceptional server with great menu knowledge. Very personable and friendly. The food was very appetizing as well. Came in for soup and salad and was pleasantly surprised. The charred romaine Caesar with the Parmesan crisp and blanched garlic clove filled the plate and the cheeseburger soup was creamy and tasteful. Only thing I’d have to complain about would be that the soup had a skin on it from breaking due to high temp but seeing as we were the only ones dining at the time I came in it would be very hard to keep it that from happening. Great views and delicious food are to be expected when you visit here.
My fiancé and I came here for dinner on our honeymoon. The service was amazing - our waiter was Joshua. There’s an amazing view of the ocean to enjoy while you’re eating. The food was SO good. We ordered hush puppies, crab cakes, truffle mac and cheese, and the frozen peanut butter pie for dessert. Everything was delicious.
The view is nice. Josh our server was great. The main course was lacking.
Great experience! Staff is friendly and efficient. Food tasted delicious. Definitely going back on my next visit to Myrtle Beach.
Excellent meal and service. My steak was delicious and a fitting meal to celebrate my Senior Grand Master State Champion award in the half marathon on 5.18.19 in Columbia!
Had delicious oysters and steak, wine and bourbon choices were good, I would go back for sure
This was a nice choice for a quite family Easter Dinner. The food was amazing and super fresh. Everyone at the table ate every bite of every dish. The service was attentive and polite. I would dine here again to try offerings from the everyday menu since a only a holiday menu was available this time. The views were fantastic outside.
We were celebrating my friend's 62nd birthday. I had made the reservation a week before we arrived in the Myrtle Beach area not knowing what to expect. It was AWESOME! Great atmosphere, great food and our server, Joshua, was very patient with all of our questions and special eating requirements. Brought my friend to tears (the good kind), when he brought out a most delicious Peanut Butter pie as the ultimate finish to a very special evening.
The food was excellent and the ambiance right on the ocean was great.
Both had the prime rib which was cooked perfectly, unfortunately baked potato was not an option the evening we went, so chose the au gratin instead which was not as good as an accompaniment. We were given an excellent table with an ocean view. Our waiter was well versed on dinner as well as drink recommendations. Our experience came in @ $100 including one beer each, shared dessert, and coffee & tip.
We had a great meal and table for our Anniversary.
Food was just ok but not worth the price.
VERY impressed. This was our first time and we were blown away with the portions and the amazing ingredients. We will be back!
Always on the lookout for great restaurants in Myrtle Beach, SC, we went for the first time during Restaurant Week. In addition to our party of three there was only one other occupied table in the restaurant. Two of us order the "Surf and Turf" entrée and one ordered the pasta dish. The pasta dish was delicious and deserving of the reputation that Vintage Twelve has of a fine restaurant. The "Surf and Turf" entrée, on the other hand, was a disappointment. The filet medallions, ordered medium rare for both orders, were dry and overcooked. The sauce, which was served on the side, was cold. The shrimp were done very nicely. When there is virtually no one in the restaurant except for two tables I would expect the food from the kitchen to be superb. You only get one chance to make a good first impression, and I must say that our visit to Vintage Twelve was a disappointment. I would not recommend this restaurant to my friends.
5 stars are due to Rus the bartender
We are at the bar and he was superior
Thanks again Rus
