Excellent....steak was prepared perfectly at medium; best wedge salad ever; chocolate martini for dessert was perfect. Service was attentive but not intrusive.
Jack was an exceptional server with great menu knowledge. Very personable and friendly. The food was very appetizing as well. Came in for soup and salad and was pleasantly surprised. The charred romaine Caesar with the Parmesan crisp and blanched garlic clove filled the plate and the cheeseburger soup was creamy and tasteful. Only thing I’d have to complain about would be that the soup had a skin on it from breaking due to high temp but seeing as we were the only ones dining at the time I came in it would be very hard to keep it that from happening. Great views and delicious food are to be expected when you visit here.
My fiancé and I came here for dinner on our honeymoon. The service was amazing - our waiter was Joshua. There’s an amazing view of the ocean to enjoy while you’re eating. The food was SO good. We ordered hush puppies, crab cakes, truffle mac and cheese, and the frozen peanut butter pie for dessert. Everything was delicious.
The view is nice. Josh our server was great. The main course was lacking.
Great experience! Staff is friendly and efficient. Food tasted delicious. Definitely going back on my next visit to Myrtle Beach.
Excellent meal and service. My steak was delicious and a fitting meal to celebrate my Senior Grand Master State Champion award in the half marathon on 5.18.19 in Columbia!
Had delicious oysters and steak, wine and bourbon choices were good, I would go back for sure
This was a nice choice for a quite family Easter Dinner. The food was amazing and super fresh. Everyone at the table ate every bite of every dish. The service was attentive and polite. I would dine here again to try offerings from the everyday menu since a only a holiday menu was available this time. The views were fantastic outside.
We were celebrating my friend's 62nd birthday. I had made the reservation a week before we arrived in the Myrtle Beach area not knowing what to expect. It was AWESOME! Great atmosphere, great food and our server, Joshua, was very patient with all of our questions and special eating requirements. Brought my friend to tears (the good kind), when he brought out a most delicious Peanut Butter pie as the ultimate finish to a very special evening.
The food was excellent and the ambiance right on the ocean was great.
Both had the prime rib which was cooked perfectly, unfortunately baked potato was not an option the evening we went, so chose the au gratin instead which was not as good as an accompaniment. We were given an excellent table with an ocean view. Our waiter was well versed on dinner as well as drink recommendations. Our experience came in @ $100 including one beer each, shared dessert, and coffee & tip.
We had a great meal and table for our Anniversary.
Food was just ok but not worth the price.
VERY impressed. This was our first time and we were blown away with the portions and the amazing ingredients. We will be back!
Always on the lookout for great restaurants in Myrtle Beach, SC, we went for the first time during Restaurant Week. In addition to our party of three there was only one other occupied table in the restaurant. Two of us order the "Surf and Turf" entrée and one ordered the pasta dish. The pasta dish was delicious and deserving of the reputation that Vintage Twelve has of a fine restaurant. The "Surf and Turf" entrée, on the other hand, was a disappointment. The filet medallions, ordered medium rare for both orders, were dry and overcooked. The sauce, which was served on the side, was cold. The shrimp were done very nicely. When there is virtually no one in the restaurant except for two tables I would expect the food from the kitchen to be superb. You only get one chance to make a good first impression, and I must say that our visit to Vintage Twelve was a disappointment. I would not recommend this restaurant to my friends.
5 stars are due to Rus the bartender
We are at the bar and he was superior
Thanks again Rus

Had Xmas dinner there & it was perfect. The sunset over the ocean was beautiful, the food & service were excellent. Our waiter was extremely efficient from the time he took our order to when he gave us the check. One of the best waiters we have had in a long time.
We were at Vintage 12, located in the Embassy Suites Hotel in Kingston Plantation, on Christmas Day, at which time they had a fixed price menu. The food selections were few, but were wonderfully prepared and of the highest caliber. The regular menu selections offered on regular business days are extensive, as is their wine list. The restaurant boasts an oceanfront setting, which is quite enjoyable, and makes for a nice setting for any occasion. The food and drink are upscale and it is reflected in the upper level prices. If you desire a quiet, scenic and or romantic restaurant, and are willing to spend a little extra for great food and service, then I recommend Vintage 12 as a splendid location for your outing.
Dining with friends at a lovely restaurant with a friendly and lively waiter who made our night enjoyable. Would recommend and come back again.
We come here every time we come to the beach because we typically really enjoy the food. This time was pretty disappointing. The server didn’t know the menu, didn’t provide a wine service for the wine we ordered, could t make a recommendation on wine, and just lacked the professionalism for that level of dining. For a dinner that was over $200, I expect the server to have some sort of idea what he is doing and that wasn’t the case. We may have to change this as a beach tradition.
Arrived early, so very few other patrons. My food was good. My wife’s food was not well seasoned.
Great food. Service started slow. But overall great time.
A more upscale restaurant within the Hilton Embassy which also provides a romantic occasion with your significant other. Noice level is low so it was nice to enjoy a great meal while being able to talk at a normal decibal.
Food was good. Delicious seafood chowder. Mandarin martini was great. Had the fresh catch and it was nice. Service was wonderful. Chastity was are server and she was excellent.
A little tucked away and some confusion when checking in but once seated very good service and food overall
The food was decent but over priced in comparison to other options. When paying $30 for shrimp and grits, you should not have to hand dig out all the shrimp to remove tails or $35 for fresh catch with bones. The “tower” appetizer was $40 and included 6 raw oysters, 6 jumbo shrimp cocktail and 6 mini crab claws. It was also supposed to come out with mussels and an array of sauces (it came out with a massive heap of horseradish and cocktail sauce). Not too impressed with what was supposed to be fine dinning. Skip the trip. The “beautiful sceanic view” is obstructed by a window panel divider. It could easily be fixed by using high top tables.
Service was good
Food was meh, at best
Therefore value was not good
Many other places are much better - sadly
Our server was amazing! She was very friendly and efficient. My husband loved his shrimp and grits. I probably would have enjoyed my dinner more if I had been hungry but we had just come from happy hour with free food. The bread was delicious as well.
Wedge salad was loaded with maple syrup bacon and blue cheese. Beautiful and delicious spinach ravioli
This restaurant is a complete waste of space in this hotel. Great view from a void should be its name. The sparse menu lists today's catch at market price. When I asked the waitress what the catch today is she told me "we don't have one" then I asked if there were any specials and she said "yeah we have some type of sliders but they aren't very good!!" This location needs to be completely revamped. It's location right off the lobby facing the ocean has so much unrealized potential. Asain fusion? Sushi? Craft beers/martinis? Even a little nightclub would be better then this place. Someone at Hilton Corporate needs to step up and make these changes. This current situation is an embarrassment. It was a Saturday night at seven in June at a full hotel and only 3 tables were occupied! Hello!!
It was very good. The view is amazing and so was the food. The bottle of rosé complimented the meal perfectly. We’ve been before and it was just as good this time. We just love the Kingston Resort and this restaurant.
Awesome ambiance, great food, loved the staff and the dessert was amazing!
Wonderful service from Danny and Kimberly. Food was amazing will definitely visit again
The dinner was our wedding dinner with family. Although Lilly and Ted were very friendly and attentive the delivery of our food was unacceptable. My wife and I had our salads eaten by the time the rest of our family received there salads. Then the main course was totally unacceptable for time delivery. Our one family member finally received his meal after the other 10 of us had eaten our meals and the plates were being cleaned off the table. Then the desserts took an unusual amount of time to be served. The excuse we were given is that the kitchen was small and that they were working on getting this corrected.
This is excuse was exactly that....an excuse. This was our wedding dinner I am seriously disappointed with the timing of the food delivery and given no options once we expressed our dissatisfaction with the restaurant.
Vintage 12 has a diverse menu, but the food presentation does not match expectations. I ordered the wedge salad and it was presented as an iceberg Cobb. The server was quirky, but at times was judgmental about the choices we made ordering. The restaurant was very quiet the night we went where there were only 2 other tables that night. The food was not the quality I was expecting for the price paid.
We love Vintage Twelve. We have stayed at The Embassy Suites for many years but did not try Vintage Twelve until the last three visits. we have not been disappointed. Every meal has been great. The atmosphere is what we were looking for. Yes. It’s expensive. But we know that going in and are prepared for the expense. It’s convient because we are staying there. But for a really nice night out or special occasion try Vintage Twelve.
We visited during restaurant week. The menu was okay but the food was not. Six of our neighbors had gone there the previous night and had the same opinion. The onion soup was good but very sweet. The grilled romaine was good also. Two of us had the steak and shrimp entree. The steak was half grizzle and fat. It almost seemed to have been steamed instead of grilled (very grayish and limp and very tough). I asked to exchange my sweet potatoes for the collard greens but was told that the chef would not make any changes. We were 1of 3 tables that were dining there that night. The other meals (1pork entree and an off the menu filet mignon were okay also). We ordered a bottle of wine and they didn't have it so the 1 and only waiter on that night, brought us an already opened bottle he claimed was better and would charge us the same price as the one we ordered. Again okay, as well as the desserts . The bill was very high for what we had. One wine, one beer, and four entrees with tip and tax was $250.00 for four of us. We will not be returning any time soon.
Great View but terrible service! Would not suggest this restaurant at all!!
Restaurant Week menu, ribeye and shrimp cooked just right. Same with grouper. Creme Brulle out of this world. Food arrived promptly. In fact seemed as if we were rushed out, request for coffee or... after dinner apparently not heard. Just given checks.
we picked this place, one of a dozen featured in the MB area for SC Restaurant Week, 1/11-1/22, because of the menu-it seemed unique. I made res, requesting a window table, because i know the dining room faced the ocean. when we arrived, friendly hostess checked off our name-there was only two res. Then she seated us at a deuce, while 3 fourtops were unoccupied along the window. I mentioned my request for a window table, and she immediately moved us.
We added grilled oysters to our 3 course, $30 meal and ordered a bottle of wine. It was out, so she substituted another French rose' for the same price-good. However, she picked up the wine glasses to pour and her hand covered the label. Wine was good, but i looked at the 2 white wine glasses and saw they were different, one was taller and slimmer than the other! I didn't expect Riedel, but it was a little much. Food was satisfactory, especially French Onion Soup and grilled Romaine. Grouper was very good, as were veggies. There were 2 desserts offered for this special Restaurant week menu, but they were out of one, so the Creme Brulee' was OK.
