Vinoteca di Monica
Very happy to have choose this restaurant , everything was exceptional, very accommodating, outstanding food and service.
The best dinner I’ve had with my date so far :)
I love this place! It's one of my favorite places! Rock all the time! Food was incredible so delicious! The service is so sweet and the host was very professional! The Restorant is outstanding highly recommend! If I could I will give a 1 million stars!!!
The food was just ok, nothing special at all. The service was good.
Such great service. Amazing food. Amazing drinks.
We're returning customers. Excellent food. Unfortunately, the service was a little less than great on our last visit. Took too long to take our order. Restaurant was extremely busy, so that might account for the difference.
Great friends and great food
Love this place. By far the best Italian dining experience in the greater Boston area.
This place is one of my favorite places! It's like my second home! The food is outstanding, soo delicious. The service is so good, attentive and very sweet! Definitely the best fresh homemade pasta out there and all their sauces taste so delicious. Definitely highly recommend it!
Great food and drinks. They make their own pasta and the service is very prompt. A bit loud when full, but definitely a favorite of ours in the North End.
Food was delicious and waiter very nice. Not too attentive which we like (wasn’t pushy) but he was absent either.
The restaurant in general is a bit like a NYC restaurant where it is tightly packed and loud.
Great food will keep us coming back
Great meal, the best food in Boston ! We had the homemade gnocchi and salmon entrees that were both out of this world. The kitchen was very accommodating to my wife and made her a simple salmon (seasoned perfectly) with veggies.
Fantastic as always
Restaurant was recommended by a friend of ours. We had never been to Boston before and this is one of the handful of places she recommended. Food delicious, great service!
The wine list was extensive and completely from Italy. The food was excellent, pasta was fresh with many options. the veal parmigiana was phenomenal
Still amazing, most consistent and warmest place in the north end
Small and the tables are very close together. We kept having to move our chairs for the entire meal for staff and guests. We had a table very out in the open and other patrons waiting for their table were just hanging around making it awkward to have any conversation. Food was good and the serving size was on the smaller side. Good wine selection and overall good prices, but would pay a little more for better ambience.
Valentines Day weekend, so we were prepared for craziness. Food was still excellent and service good considering the number of folks there. Definitely would recommend.
We arrived on time and waited around 25 minutes to be seated. The space is a little cramped. Food is good. Service is perfect.
We had Fabulous food, atmosphere and service, we live in the area and will make it our favorite place the have dinner!!!
Excellent. We will be back!
Great for Valentine’s Day. Small portions for big prices
Amazing meal, as always. The service and the food are always outstanding. Perfect spot for a business meal, casual/fine dining, date night or special occasion. Highly recommend.
Great Friendly Prompt Attentive Staff
I went for brunch after getting a recommendation from someone and it did not disappoint. It was a refreshing break from typical Boston brunches with uniquely Italian dishes that were fantastic. In addition, the $4 mimosas made it an experience that was delicious, but also affordable. To top it all off, we had the BEST waitress with great recommendations and attentive service. It is one of those places that I'm not sure if I would go back to the get dish I got that I am already craving again or to try the 10 other dishes that looked great on the menu!
Very impressed with the brunch menu, everything we had exceeded my expectations.
The food was good not great. There was nothing spectacular about either entree or our appetizer. If this restaurant weren't in the North End it would not have cost near as much money as it did.
Wow, what phenomenal food! So much to choose from we didn't know where to begin! We will go back
We found Vinoteca last minute for a birthday dinner and were absolutely delighted with our choice.
Excellent food- excellent service. Really enjoyed the evening!
Brunch is delicious and just different enough to be interesting. That said, we always seem to gravitate toward the breakfast carbonara. The reduced price mimosas and bloody marys are a nice touch. The service is wonderful - this time we had Paola as our server. She's always friendly, funny, and professional. We'll be back.
I highly recommend Vinoteca di Monica for a date night out. The food is phenomenal and very traditional. You can tell the pasta is made fresh in house. Menu wise, you can’t go wrong with anything on there. Would definitely suggest the grilled calamari over the fried kind for something special.
Brought two people from out of town who were on a business trip here for dinner. I've been here several times with my wife and this is our "go to" restaurant in the North End for excellent food at a reasonable price. Everyone was very happy with their means and the entire experience. Highly recommend.
I like a server that knows how to guide.
Wonderful dinner!! Fried artichoke appetizer was out of this world!!
Everyone on the staff there was friendly and welcoming. We were a group of six, and I found the seating to be comfortable and not crowded. The food and service were both excellent. Waitress was knowledgeable and very pleasant.
Wow. Just wow. The food was AMAZING, service was INCREDIBLE, wine was DELICIOUS, ambiance was fun and romantic. We had a reservation for 2 at 8:30PM on a Saturday. They were busy when we got there and we had to wait 10 mins for a table. But the woman hostess was so kind. She talked to us for a few minutes at the bar while we waited. A table opened in the bar area, and she asked if we wanted to wait until a table in the other dining area opened up but we decided we were too hungry to wait. Our server was so kind, very knowledgeable about the menu, and offered great recommendations. We had the fried calamari and a pizza for apps, and chicken parmigiana and gnocchi with sausage for dinner. The food was phenomenal. Fresh, homemade pasta! At one point, the woman next to us who had a little too much to drink knocked my glass of wine over all over me, the table and the floor when trying to take a picture of her family. The bar tender and server were fast to come help, replaced our linens, silverware and wine, cleaned the floor and brought me soda water and napkins to try to get the wine out of my skirt. The woman and her family left pretty quickly without any offer to pay clean my skirt. However, the ambiance, food and service quickly made us forget about the incident and we had an amazing night regardless! I would highly, highly recommend. Make sure to ask your server what to order because we had the best meal!
Another great meal at Monica's. We had the Bolognese and Chicken Tortellini - both were wonderful but the Tortellini stood out as something different. The Eggplant special starter was also fantastic (the sauce was incredible).
Love this place! So much variety. All 4 of us had a different pasta dish and nothing disappointed. Waitress so sweet and very efficient. Can't wait to go back and get more tortellini with creamy sage sauce!
The hostess is always so friendly and accommodating. 5star..... Raquel was very accommodating and did a fantastic job staying with us and times her approaches perfectly.
Thanks again for another great evening.
Why would we go anywhere else
Perfect homemade pasta creating the foundation for outstanding dishes. We rarely return to a restaurant two nights while on vacation but we had to go back for more!
