   I have special beds with my food because of allergies. Don’t go to this restaurant unless you can order off their menu. They were very nice but all I wanted was for them to add nothing to the fish and vegetable except heat and they couldn’t do that.

   Service was very slow, but was not really a big issue. Food was good. French onion soup and dinner salad was great. Scallops appetizer was also great. Soft shell crab was decent but dry. Chicken Marsala over past was good. The masculine NYSteakhouse deco and vibe seems a bit dated, but it was customer friendly and relaxing. Biggest disappointment: we made res’n and specifically noted our 51 st anniversary. Not a word was said to us. At table next to us, couple was greeted with a big congratulations on # 24, lots of attention, plus free desert and coffee. We let it slide but did wonder why the inconsistent treatments. Overall, we enjoyed it, the food was good, but for $ 150 we could have had 2 nice meals at any one of 3 or 4 of our neighborhood Favs instead. It was good, just not memorable. We will look elsewhere.

    Nothing is like it used to be however with that said I wasn't blown away with the food quality. My husband had the special and it was very expensive for the amount he received. My son had steak off the menu which was great however his mashed potatoes tasted like they were instant just add water mash. No flavor at all. We ordered the garlic mash as a side and it was the same potatoes with some buttered garlic sprinkled on the top. **dont order the Chicken Parm, the pasta was grainy and super salty. No way the sauce was homemade and if it was they need a Nonnie A-stat.

    This is hands down the best steakhouse in the state. Tom and the staff are wonderful. I always drive a couple of hours just to eat here. I have eaten stakes all over the county and Vinnie's is bar none the best. Mohamod Youssef

    We sit at the bar to dine with Jules. She’s the best bartender and server: attentive but never intrusive. The cocktails are expertly created and well-balanced. The kitchen consistently turns out delicious steaks and seafood. Jules’ attention to detail makes all the difference.

    Overall atmosphere was nice. Waiter was attentive, almost too attentive. Every time we were in a conversation, either he was there or the guy refilling every sip of water. The site says it‘s an experience so stay for a few hours. Let people sit and have a dining experience without the constant interruption then. Husband‘s steak was the Delmonico ribeye, unfortunately almost bleeding on the plate so he didn‘t finish. My eggplant parmesan tasted like reheated frozen pieces, unfortunately I would choose Olive Garden over theirs. Sweet tea was delicious. Caesar salad and bread were good, house salad could have more to it than iceberg lettuce and tomatoes/carrots. It was also way too big. Overall the meal wasn‘t bad but I wouldn‘t make this is a return choice. For $247 I feel like Angus Barn or Sullivan‘s are better choices. Also husband walked in on a guy „doing lines in the bathroom“ (he didn‘t work there but what in the heck?).

    When we arrived the hostess acted like we didn’t have a reservation but they could seat us. I thought this was strange because Vinnies had called to confirm the reservation the day before. The service was slow. We ordered to Oyster Rockefeller appetizer and the oysters were virtually non existent, they were so small. I think the prices were high considering the casual/dated atmosphere.

    The food at Vinnie's was awesome as usual, but diner advised! The waiter was prompt and energetic...maybe too energetic, making several recommendations on appetizers and dinner specials, unfortunately leaving out the prices which are not shown on the menus. With two appetizers, two 1/2 price bottles of average priced wine and 4 house special entrees with no sides, a dinner for 4 adults turned into a $684 adventure. Needless to say, that was totally unexpected! Of course, it goes without saying that it was our fault for not thinking to ask the waiter for the prices in advance, but who knew an appetizer could cost $88. For comparison, I recently took my entire family (8 people) to the Angus Barn for Thanksgiving dinner and the bill wasn't close to this. Regardless, it was a very nice evening out for dinner with our close friends, albeit maybe not after this, as it left us with a not-so-good aftertaste.
