Pasta was salty and overdone. Overpriced and added service!
We went for our 36th wedding anniversary and could not have had a better time. We drove from the San Fernando Valley in the pouring rain. From the warm greeting when we arrived to the valet when we left everything in between was superb. Great service, outstanding food and presentation. Not enough good things to be said. I'd highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Always reliable and great for a quiet business lunch. Maureen is a delightful host and the food is never a disappointment.
Maureen the lady who owns and runs the restaurant is a true professional with a heart of gold. The service is perfect, the setting is beautiful and the food is out of this world. My husband and I had the sole which was cooked to perfection and of course the wine was delicious too. This restaurant is a treasure and is as good as any restaurant in New York or Italy!! Thank you.
I love the food and the simple & clean decor. The dishes are authentic Italian with slight touch of Chinese food which made it unique place to go.
Great pizza night. Wonderful service. True quality
Great neighborhood spot. Make sure you request the main dining room. The alcove off the side is removed and feels more like a casual experience- no linen table clothes and poor ambiance, so make the request upfront. Otherwise, great food service and neighborhood spot.
Fantastic food. Fantastic Restaurant.
Fabulous experience all around. Can’t wait to go back.
Excellent food as always
I LOVE coming here! Any occasion- casual or special dinner I’m greeted with joy by Maureen the owner who is really kind, lovely and helpful. I love bringing my mom in law here, we can talk, drink, eat and be happy.
Just a neighborhood gem. ❤️
Consistently delicious Italian food with friendly professional service.
Warm ambiance in a modern setting, Upscale neighborhood dining.
Wonderful on every count - pastas outstanding - my seafood risotto was off the charts. Deserts too
Great as always. Service was perfect even with two parties going on and pork chop was fantastic
Fabulous Thanksgiving dinner!!
It was great to have a choice of a 4 course traditional thanksgiving dinner or the regular menu plus the option to mix and match!
I had the special hamachi appetizer which was melt in your mouth delicious. My friends had the roasted chestnut soup. Also delicious. We all had the turkey dinner which was a great gourmet arrangement of turkey stuffing potatoes 2 veggies plated like a work of art. We had 2 desserts from the regular menu: the salted creme with toffee chips... delicious! And the molten chocolate cake with vanilla bean ice cream.
All in all, a fantastic menu and dinner
One of our favorite nice restaurants in Brentwood. Always delicious.
Lovely people, sumptuous menu and great wine selection. What more do you want?
This is a perfect place for lunch. If you have a business meeting, or just a lunch with some friends, the tables are not on top of each other - so you can have a private conversation. A rarity in LA, even at fine dining restaurants. The lobster salad appetizer is wonderful, the pastas are perfect, the presentations are great and the service is terrific.
This has always been my favorite Italian restaurant in the US. I used to eat here weekly when I was living in Brentwood. We visited during our evacuation stay in Westwood. Nothing has changed- it’s still about as good as Italian food gets.
Wine is still marked up aggressively, but there are some great choices. This will never be a place you choose for an affordable night out, but when there’s flexibility on the check, this is a great choice.
We enjoyed our evening there very much. Excellent service and food.
Everything was picture perfect to celebrate our anniversary!!
Friends from Tokyo love authentic/traditional Italian cuisine.
They enjoyed Vincenti Ristorante immensely. The dinner was
great as was the service. Vincenti Ristorante is definitely a
must go place for Italian cuisine.
lovely service and wonderful food. The staff were clearly on top of many details. It was fun to observe their synchronization.
What a gem of a place! From the warm reception to the excellent food and service, beautiful rooms and a blissful ability to hear each other's conversation...we were so delighted with the evening. Thank you!
The best Italian food in LA. Paired with wonderfully caring service and a elegant atmosphere, you just have to bring some friends to make it the perfect dinner.
We have been eating at Vincenti for the past 15 years on a regular basis and it has always been amazing.
After a day on the west side, we had an early dinner at Vincenti. The room was practically empty when we arrived but filled up quickly. The Italian cuisine menu has many selections and the portions are enormous. We managed to stuff ourselves with salads (tricolor salad with candied pistachios; butter lettuce salad with polenta croutons), pasta (lasagna made with spinach noodles and Bolognese sauce), zucchini fritters stuffed with burrata, real short ribs with polenta, brussel sprouts and borolo gravey, and assorted gelato for dessert. From the wine list, we selected a 2012 Tenuta di Querceta Brunello; we had started with (properly chilled) glasses of prosecco. Service was friendly and gracious and we were told everything is made in house, including the breads and the gelatos. The restaurant decor is casual, the kitchen is open and it appears to be an upscale home for Brentwood locals, with prices to match. There is an 18% service charge automatically added to the check (which we did not notice until after we had left, having left another tip of a comparable amount.) For casual upscale dining, we would say it's a bit pricey.
Vincenti’s is one if our favorite dining places in the city.
Maureen, the owner, makes every effort to take very good care of her patrons, & the food is consistently excellent. I highly recommend the food, service, staff
& overall ambience. In a city where restaurants come & go, Vincenti’s has a steady stream of loyal patrons because we appreciate it.
I recently dined at Vincenti after wanting to try it for years! The owner graciously welcomed me as I walked in which I always love to see, an involved owner that is present and available and proud of their restaurant! My guest & I were shown to our table through the well lit, dim, but not too dim, dining room which was open yet cozy and our waitress was extremely friendly & knowledgeable which is a lost art in this town of out of work actors and actresses! The food arrived in a timely fashion and was extraordinary and I AM A FOODIE, the red & yellow beets with burrata was exceptional BUT the gnocchi with black truffles was out of this world! I decided on the panna cotta for dessert and I'm so pleased I did! Vincenti has absolutely won me over a regular, FRESH pasta, a REAL Italian restaurant in Brentwood, I can't wait to bring my wife who is Italian from Rhode Island, she is going to LOVE it here as I did, I'll be a regular!
Food is good but nothing special outside of what you can get at Angelini or Madeo or Bestia.
Service needs major improvement..I don’t need water every five minutes...it’s over priced for what you get compare to other places with the same standards.
Excellent food and service. Somewhat pricey, and a little too noisy - not quiet.
Fantastic from beginning to end! The minute you walk in the door- the happy greeting from the host to the impeccable service and the lovely and gracious owner- Maureen the evening was perfect from beginning to end!
I brought my son who is a chef- so I knew he wasn’t going to be easy to impress! He loved the food and the entire experience! We will be back again and again!
Great restaurant, very good food. Used a travelzoo voucher, and I thought the portions were a little small for the main meals. Overall, good service and really good food.
Lovely people. Lovely food. Lovely place. I am going to visit again and again!
Every dish was delicious, the wine was excellent, and our waitress was friendly, attentive, and made some great suggestions. Surprised it took me so long to finally try this place out...I plan to come back again soon.
There is no finer Northern Italian restaurant than Vencenti. The lobster salad appetizer is large, with generous portion of fresh lobster meat in a salad that is perfectly dressed. The pasta is very creative, and the fish is impeccably served. The wood-oven roasted fish is always cooked to perfection. The service is great, made special by the warm welcome from the owner Maureen.
great wine prices and policy - at least as compared to similarly situated LA restaurants. reliable kitchen.
Great time at Vincenti w their Travelzoo promotion
Outstanding food and service plus the ambience is relaxing
Would definitely go again
This is one of the best Italian restaurants in town. I almost hate to write a glowing review so fear the lunch crowd picks up and I can't get in! Maureen greets all guests like long time friends and the staff is friendly and attentive but understands when you need privacy. The food...I have yet to have eat something I would not order again (and again and again!) Whether I sit down for a quick bowl of soup at the bar or indulge in one of the daily pasta specials, I am guaranteed a satisfying meal and in a pleasant environment. Definitely one of Brentwood's gems!
