We celebrated our 35th anniversary. The food and drinks were spectacular. Our waiter Brian was excellent!
Everything was great from the drinks, food and service!!
Precise reservation, tables spaced, masked staff. I felt save eating inside. Excellent overall. Only slight complaint was entrée came almost too quick, didn't finish appetizer.
Incredible food and atmosphere with impeccable service. Highly recommended.
Shelby was our waitress and was very professional and courteous to our party of 3.
Great experience, great service!
We enjoyed our first visit! We tried a couple new dishes and loved them, especially the branzino and the gnocchi. The bartender (Dash) was exceptional and provided excellent customer service. He was helpful with gluten free options. Cool story behind the restaurant name. Be sure to ask about it. Good wine by the glass selection. We loved the decor, Italian music, and that the temperature inside was comfortable, not cold. We will definitely dine there again.
Oustanding food and service! Shelby our server was excellent! I had a very special birthday dinner at Vincent Chicco's! We can't wait to go there again!
Birthday it was nice the wine recommendation was excellent! Service was a little off
Food wasn’t good. Pretty disappointing.
I can't say enough about this restaurant..We kept waiting for the reopening and was very pleased when did. The food is excellent. The wait staff and bar tenders are all friendly and professional...looking forward to going back soon!
We had such a great time celebrating a birthday. The team was so accommodating and service was great. Definitely recommend a celebratory dinner out or upscale visit to the bar!
The overall experience was okay, but extra bread would have been nice.
We’ve been here twice. Service has been excellent but the food is just meh.
We enjoyed the beautiful decor. Wait staff was excellent and helpful. We had chicken parmasean and short rib meals - each meal was large enough to split by two people which was good since we were visiting from out of town and were not taking any left overs with us. Priced reasonable and down a lovely alley way with ivy climbing up the brick - there are other restaurants. Great spot - would recommend!
Had a wonderful sister dinner here! Have been coming to this place since before the pandemic and are SO happy they’re back open! Had outstanding service, a delicious meal, and a wonderful evening. 10/10 recommend this restaurant - it is a hidden gem of Charleston!
Really great place, we went on a Thursday night for a girls
Dinner. It was pretty quite ao
I think we were the loudest ones there. It’s really cool on the inside and staff is great. The food wasn’t anything special what so ever,
Chicken Cutlet Burnt had to send back. Way too much sauce on the food. It was drenched in sauce and very spicy.
Went at 5 to avoid crowds and it was perfect. Great service, exceptional food, cool vibe all together. I'm glad they have finally reopened! I'll be back, for sure
Great meal and excellent service
Shelby our server was fantastic! The food and ambience all meshed well.
Looking forward to going back.
Foccia is not focaccia, and the olives that come with it are a waste of olives, enough to serve a family of 8. The spare ribs are more like pot roast. The chicken piccata and mashed potatoes were quite good.
Our experience there was wonderful. They only had just reopened a couple days prior to our visit and it was nice to see everyone excited to be back. Food was great and everyone on the staff were so friendly and happy to have guests again. Really made our dinner memorable.
A fantastic venue and outstanding food / service. Thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience! Highly recommended.
Made a last minute reservation on a whim because my boyfriend and I got soaked by a storm and wanted something warm and hearty for dinner. What a find! Service was phenomenal, both waitstaff and bar staff. Bartender came over to the table to make a personalized drink suggestion for my boyfriend, an old-fashioned with old grand-dad, which he loved.
Food was outstanding. Definitely the best gnocchi I’ve ever had and my boyfriend loved his meal, the Sicilian Gravy, as well. Food came quickly and was plated beautifully. The restaurant itself is lovely, fancy but not too fancy. And prices were reasonable.
All in all, we will definitely be back.
Great service, amazing food. Loved the ambiance of the restaurant very clean and inviting. Highly recommend
Just reopened after covid shutdown - same chef as before. Caprese salad is divine. Both our entrees were were well-prepared and presented. Attentive service. Reasonably priced winelist. We were very satisfied and will return. (We're local)
Absolutely great! We were in town to move my daughter into college. Grabbed an early reservation because that was all that was left. Bartender was great and had great knowledge of the menu for suggestions. Ambiance was just what you would expect for a nice Italian meal. Would recommend to anyone seeking great Italian in a nice setting. Everyone enjoyed their meal!
I cannot say enough positive things about Vincent Chiccos (VG). We visited this restaurant for the first time this week and were deeply impressed with the décor, service, and food. We will be back.
My wife enjoyed a Caesar Salad, and I enjoyed the Burrata Salad. Both salads were well prepared and well-presented. The Caesar dressing tasted fresh and had freshly grated parmesan. My salad offered fresh arugula and a wonderful vinaigrette. It had been hot outside and the salads were a perfect way to start our meal (along with the fresh bread and olive oil that was presented). The salads were on the large side of size, but not too much to dissuade us from our main course.
For our entrees, we ordered the Short Rib Sugo and the Sicilian Sunday Gravy. The Sugo was fantastic, but the Sicilian Sunday Gravy topped it. The pasta was cooked perfectly, the meats were hearty, tender, and flavorful and the sauces in which they integrated were simmered and seasoned to perfection. It has been a very long time since I had an Italian sauce that was THAT GOOD. The portions were hearty. We were both full but had enjoy left over to lunch the next day.
We also enjoyed a little wine with dinner as well - a Foppiano 1896 California Red Blend. It was OK and I would say that if I were to ask the restaurant for an improvement, it would be to offer a larger selection of wines.
Lastly, let me highlight the service. Our waiter was patient and helped us with our meal options. We did not feel rushed and at the same time, we did not feel delayed. On top of that, the Director of Holy City Hospitality (the restaurant group that owns and runs Vincent Chiccos) stopped by our table, asked about our meals and evening, gave us his card, and urged us to contact him if there was anything he could do to make our evening more enjoyable). It was a nice touch.
We had the best dinner here celebrating a birthday, everyone was attentive and professional, the food was absolutely delicious!! We will be back many times as vincent chiccos is our favorite downtown restaurant!
I wish I could I could have reviewed! A fatal accident kept us from even getting to Vincent Chicco's!! Can't wait to make another reservation! Had my heart set on the strawberry salmon!!
GREAT food, ambiance, decor: a quality evening for an intimate group or small party. It's location on the Alley opens you up to music outside and jazz on North King. A great night.
very clean ,staff was on point! Mark was the best server we've ever had in Charleston! Food looked as good as it tasted.
The staff is friendly and professional, the food is wonderful. A large party was sat next to us, so it was a tad noisy.
Salmon was delicious! Service was a little on the slow side and our waiter was interesting was good overall!
Menu descriptions compared food delivery—inconsistency
Taste of food poor
All 3 in our party had bad food
It’s a beautiful space, and the service was great. Loved the caprese salad, and the veal Marsala has plenty of mushrooms, but maybe too much pasta.
I LOVED eating at vincent chiccos. The server we had JD was so kind and proffessional and the ice cream he recommended at Jenny's was fantastic. I enjoyed my meal as the lamb was very tender and the char on it was fantastic. The roasted green beans were flavorful and I enjoyed them immensely but the seafood risotto was a tad salty. Spreading it onto the complimentary bread helped. The white wine pan sauce for the lamb was fine and suited the risotto but it paled in comparison to the meat itself. I think it would have pared better with a red wine sauce.
Delicious food! Loved the Sunday gravy!! Great spot!!We'll be back!!!
The food was outstanding and plentiful. The service was also great and we enjoyed meeting the GM of the restaurant and her take on some great bourbon.
