A great find. We sat at a high top table, I would recommend a table. Service was excellent. Food was great. Really a nice surprise! Thank you!
The Buffalo Mozzarella appetizer was outrageously delicious! So was the whole roasted Bronzino! And the Cacio e Pepe we choose as an Accompaniment dish, was the best! We shall definitely return for the food.
Food was really good and service was fast. I did feel like the menu was a bit small, and would like to have seen a few more options.
Service quick and worked hard to please us
Octavia was good as a waitress. The rest of the team - and there were plenty of them - gossiped at the bar the whole night except helping. Good was mediocre at best. Too many better places in Charleston for a great experience.
We started out with a terribly overdressed salad that our server seemed to care less about. Our pasta entrees however were exceptional. So, though service was very sub par and the salad was terrible, their pasta dishes were very good. Prices were not bad for Charleston. Not sure if the plusses outweighed the minuses. Probably will give them another chance sometime down the road.
Limited menu choices.
I mentioned 50th Bday dinner occasion for my friend and written down in my reservation note. My wife also told the waitress.
No one bothered to greet with any compliments.
Will never go back here. Sorry!!!
We made a late reservation and had a high top table. Would have been even better with a regular table.
Delish Beet and BlackBerry salad with goat cheese to start
Loved my old fashion
Spaghetti and super moist meatballs!
My husband enjoyed his eggplant parmigiana
We were served by a very nice young man. It was our 44th Anniversary and we were surprised by two glasses of Prosecco complements of the restaurant. The bruschetta was great as well as the chicken picatta and chicken parmigiana! Would definitely recommend !
Wonderful meal on Chef's Monday night special! Ambiance is lovely, tables nicely spaced; staff is exceptional. Highly recommend!
Really good Italian restaurant in a beautiful space. The service was outstanding as well- we sat at one of the hightops and the bartender who took care of us did a fantastic job.
The food was terrible. The pizza had no spices and a crust too thick for a margarita pie. The chicken cacciatore was inedible.
Overall noisy in the back of the restaurant. Chicken piccata served on mashed potatoes (that’s odd), way better on linguini, so switch it out and pay the up charge. Tiramisu worth the calories.
The members of the staff were all lovely but the food was awful. We will not return.
Outstanding experience. The Chicken Picatta was delightful. I will be going back.
Octavia, our server, was fantastic! Found was good. Atmosphere great!! Nice evening.
Great food and kind, attentive service. I had linguine again e olio with clams and my husband had chicken parmigiana. Delicious! Lovely ambiance. Highly recommend.
What a wonderful dinner!!! From beginning to end we could not have asked for anything more! After we were greeted with a smile by our sweet hostess, our server, Danni truly went above and beyond to make our anniversary dinner extra special! She is very knowledgeable and exceptionally attentive!
Dalton, the chef, really merits a special mention! We were lucky to have the chance to experience his special menu which really showcased his talent and creativity! Most importantly, we called in advance to check if our food limitations would be a problem, and were assured that it would be fine. In the end, it felt like the menu was personalized just for us - that’s how many excellent choices we had! Everything we ate was outstanding and absolutely delicious!!!
Thank you so much for an awesome celebration dinner experience!
Food was disgusting. Chefs table means left over food from kitchen
We had the bruschetta appetizer with the whipped goat cheese which was delicious.
My wife had the eggplant parmigiana which was excellent. It was cooked in a cast iron skillet which gave it a lot of flavor.
I had the gnocchi e pesto which was also excellent. It was not just gnocchi with pesto sauce poured on top. The gnocchi was cooked with the pesto which gave it a great flavor.
Date night. Wife ordered fettuccine and I ordered chicken parmesan. Both excellent. Like other reviews said, sitting near front door on cold night is noticeable. Service was pleasant but a bit slow. Will definitely go again.
This place is down an alley, not on a Main Street, so was quiet when we went dinner early on a Sunday night. It’s a nice change from louder Charleston restaurant. The interior is beautiful, looks very European. Service was excellent, loved the drinks (Paper Plane and a Boulevardier, which you rarely see offered on a cocktail menu). I had Chicken Cacciatore that was the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Excellent meal, great service - reminded us of NYC Italian dining!
This place is DELICIOUS
The food was very good but the dining room, especially for those sitting near the front, was cold. Staff was good but not great. Would certainly dine there again.
Perfect break from the ordinary. Hidden gem. Great bar amazing food and value.
This was our first visit to the restaurant, 5 friends away for Girl's Weekend. We arrived a bit early and had a drink at the bar. The bartenders were great! We were seated promptly for our reservation. Our server Octavia was AWESOME! She offered dinner suggestions, was attentive and had such a great personality. The restaurant was a bit busy and the sounds do echo but we were still able to have conversations. The food was delicious! The whole branzino was a suggestion from our server and it didn't disappoint. Thank you for a great dinner!
excellent service, great ambiance and delicious food. the bronzino was so tasty
Super disappointed. Our server was inattentive, never even bothered to take our drink order so we just didn’t even bother. The food was not great—the Caccio e Pepe was basically a huge bowl of globbed up linguine with heavy cheese and very large, coarse ground pepper chunks. It was such a let down. We sat and sat at the end forever before a half hearted offer for dessert was made and we really just wanted our check. Would not recommend and will not be back.
Brian and his groovy shoes were fantastic!! Everything was perfect!
Wonderful experience based on excellent service and delicious food.
Excellent dinner and service
Visiting Charleston with my daughter and went to Vincent Chicco’s on our 2 Nd night in town. Absolutely delicious classic Italian food. The chicken piccata was the best we’ve ever had…I highly recommend. Cacio E Pepe also wonderful! No complaints at all, and service fabulous as well. Great evening.
Anniversary. I put it my reservation and was surprised no one mentioned it or asked if this was a special occasion. Other than that all was very good
Visited while seeing a friend in the hospital
Everyone found a delicious meal and enjoyed a glass (or two) of wine!
Great food Great service........................................................
It was amazing!! We went on Monday for Chef's tasting menu. really off the menu items and we loved it everything we had. The service was fabulous, drinks were amazing. Chef himself came out and greeted us. .We will be back
All was excellent except the wine. My wife and I ordered the house red. We might have gotten 5 ounces between the two glasses.
