   Enjoyed the atmosphere, food was good, however my crab/calamari pasta was DROWNING in olive oil and not particularly appetizing to me. Others at my table loved their food.

   Had dinner for six on Saturday, had not been to the restaurant for about three years due to Covid. Food was mediocre in presentation. Three of us had Chicken Parmesan and it was a block of chicken smothered in Parmesan on a huge bed of spaghetti. Noise level is very loud. The bill came and included 15% gratuity but that was not mentioned. I tipped a normal tip. The waitress tracked me down as we left the building and was kind enough to ask if I meant to tip that much on top of the 15%. Told her no and I was grateful that she asked. They really ought to tell folks that.

   Portions were plentiful. Seating was tight. Wait staff for nearby tables could be disruptive in their drive to be engaging. But mostly what landed our rating was that the entrees were average. We’ve eaten great Italian and moderately good Italian in the US and across Italy. The dishes that landed on our table all lacked something to make them better than average.

   Very unimpressed and saddened that I wasted a meal in Charleston based on people who upvoted this restaurant leading me to believe this would be a 4 star restaurant .. instead I feel as if I was fooled by people who frequent Olive Garden. Hell, I have even had better at Carrabbas. Lackluster and overpriced our server was running around with his head cut off/ we had to get our bill and to go boxes from other employees. The one positive thing I will say is their lobster was fresh but the pasta sauce had no flavor. I do Not recommend.

    It was our last dinner on an 11 day family trip. The food and service was amazing. Our server, Reggie, was also very friendly and personable and provided great service. Our dinner was fabulous and I would recommend anyone visiting in the Charleston area to experience this fine restaurant.

    We came to Vincent Chicco’s on the last night of our visit to Charleston. My husband loves Italian and we had eaten a lot of seafood. The restaurant is in an old cotton warehouse so there are big high ceilings and brick exposed walls. Very pretty decor. Two of us had the spaghetti and meatballs and the meatballs were delicious. They were made from veal and were so tender but not greasy. The other two people had shrimp in a butter and garlic sauce which was also very nice. We started with a beet and blackberry salad which was great with a very nice light dressing. The kitchen had an issue and they lost our order but it turned out fine…..didn’t have to wait too long despite the mix up. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

    came due to the high rating on opentable and availability for a same night reservation. our group of four had Brayden as our waiter and he was wonderful - so engaging and great recommendations. we ordered the bruschetta and fromaggi appetizers - both great with the bottle of Malbec we ordered as well. i personally had the gnocchi as an entree and it was one of the best i’ve had. would highly recommend and came back next time we’re back in town. plus, the 20% discount at Charleston’s Smallest Bar was great for pre dinner drinks!

    It was wonderful! Our waiter was attentive and the food was amazing. There’s some cool history behind the restaurant in the menu too. Very fun spot downtown and we popped over to a neighboring piano bar after dinner. Really awesome experience!

    Went to Vincent's my boyfriends birthday dinner. He is Italian and I wanted to find him a place that had great Italian food and service. Vincent Chicco's did NOT disappoint! Our server was courteous and knowledgeable, and a joy to speak with. We had the cheese plate and house red & white wine to start. I was very impressed with the house wine, not a cheapy at all. The cheese board was good, if I had to nit-pick, the blackberries are not in season yet, so really didn't lend anything to the dish. He got the chicken parm and I got the lobster linguine, for our main dishes. We also got 2 meatballs on the side, as I love a good meatball. These were possibly the best meatballs I have ever had! So light and fluffy. The homemade sauce was finger licking good! We will defiantly be back and will probably eat our weight in just meatballs. Come hungry...you will not be disappointed!

    The service was terrific. The food was good. The beet and blackberry with goat cheese salad was excellent. Also the lobster and linguine was very good. The gnocchi wasn’t a favorite - didn’t care for the sauce. The spaghetti and meatballs was good.

    Waitstaff excellent- chicken piccata, Sunday gravy mushroom risotto - all 3 amazing. Carrot cake - best dessert- lovely walk with Sinatra singing from the hotel - 400 feet from Hampton Inn historic district.

    The food and space itself were absolutely fantastic. The architecture of the building ties in the theme of the restaurant. Our server Reggie was nice and attentive however his assistant John who helped us most of the evening (we 100% understand he is in training) was not very enthusiastic or timely. As a guest who has worked in the industry for 6 years I would think a more high class restaurant such as Vincent chicco’s would require experience and enthusiasm from potential employees. Overall we had an amazing time and it was the perfect place for our girls night! We will be back.

    I never write reviews but the food here was just awful. My daughter and I both ordered the chicken Parm -$25 entree. It had a thick piece of unmelted cheese on top (as thick as the chicken). The chicken tasted as if it had been frozen for years. The bread service was super hard and we could barely chew! Don’t waste your money or chance getting sick. This restaurant had barely anyone seated at 6:30 and both my daughter and I questioned each other when we walked in thinking it should be much busier….now we know why. If I could give the food a zero star I would. The server was great!

    We loved this restaurant and will definitely be back. We we visiting our son at college and brought a few of his friends for dinner. We loved the atmosphere, the service and the food. Loved the warm olives as well as the meat and cheese antipasto boards as well as the bruschetta was outstanding and fresh!! We all ordered something different and each was delicious- chicken piccata, lobster linguine in a cognac sauce, mushroom risotto-outstanding and spaghetti and meatballs. They were accommodating of my husband allergy to seafood. Our server was knowledgeable and kind. Really great food, atmosphere and service- we will definitely be back and recommend to friends!!!

    Our waiter was so sweet and easy to talk to. Our food was excellent. He made great recommendations on wine based on what I like. The food was delicious! The short ribs were so tender. We ordered the olives and got about 50,000 of them in the bowl and they were so delicious.

    The food was good as usual but our waiter was a little all over the place. He kept forgetting the drinks. When we were finished we asked for our food to be boxed up and he never came back without left overs so I guess he threw them away. We didn’t bother to say anything because we had somewhere to go after dinner. Wish my experience was what I normally had expected from them.

    We ate upstairs. There were seven in our party. The room had about thirty other diners on several large parties. Two wait staff were killing themselves tending to thirty + people. The service was unbelievably slow. Our table was full of glasses of all sizes, and no one was able to keep up with clearing this. We just sat and sat and waited and waited. When the food finally came the risotto was undercooked and we sent it back. The replacement risotto was not as undercooked. I don’t understand why a restaurant accepts a reservation when they do not have sufficient wait staff and chefs to provide acceptable service and food.

    Overall good experience however the waitress didn’t know how to pronounce bruschetta. Even after I pronounced it correctly she said it wrong it seemed like she tried to correct me. I also ordered espresso with desert and was given what seemed to be just hot coffee in an espresso cup. When I ordered a new one it came out completely different and the difference was pretty clear. Food and ambiance were great though and I really liked the upstairs dining room. It almost had a private feel to it.

    Risotto was dry and not properly cooked, too hard in the bite. Halibut was overcooked. Neither tasted anything. Overpriced. Tiramisu and coffee was good, and the waiter was attentive.
