    Beautiful setting and the waitstaff was great. We enjoyed the food. A little disappointed they didn’t acknowledge my husband’s birthday as noted in our reservation.

    warm olives & bruschetta were delicious. Some dinners were great - seafood with linguini, short ribs. Risotto pesto with shrimp special was little bland. Linguini with garlic & olive oil - no protein came out with an egg noodle type pasta little to no sauce and was barely room temp. Meatballs ok.

    Found the food to be disappointing the marinara sauce was delicious but the noodle's tasted as though they had been reheated. Defiantly NOT homemade.

    Need to train greeter and wait staff. It was a very slow night so the following makes no sense. Menus laying in a bunch on table, when seating, not presented. Drink order taken in timely manner. Apps arrived in proper time, but yet our dinner order not taken yet. Once dinner arrived, app plates, menus and empty bread basket still on the table. Waitress was friendly but needs more training on sequence of events and table clearing.

    It was pleasant the first 20 mins and then a very large bachelorette party came in and took over the middle of the restaurant. All of us that were there for a quite romantic dinner had that cut short. Other than that, the food was delicious and the wait staff was excellent.

    Food and service were excellent. Very generous portions and reasonably priced for Downtown Charleston. Ambiance was lovely…intimate, comfortable, great lighting….wine list impressive. We will absolutely be back!!

    Service and atmosphere is good, but food is just average - swordfish was overcooked and seemed to be previously frozen, not really fresh. Cappuccino was barely room temperature, not hot at all.

    Horrible service! Too many other restaurants in Charleston to put up with bad service. I got a 8:00pm text from the restaurant that my table was ready for an 8:45pm reservation. After I checked in and arrived at 8:30pm, I was left sitting at a table and ignored for almost 20 minutes. Staff was huddled around the bar chatting. When the server finally came over, I shared how long I'd waited. She replied that she was busy with other tables and that she hadn't even noticed me. There were only 4 other occupied tables in the restaurant. Other guests were greater and checked on during their meal, but I was ignored by all but the initial server. Interestingly, whenever someone who appeared to be a supervisor entered, staff scattered but resumed chatting and huddling up by the bar as soon as that supervisor left the room.

    This was our second visit, again for a birthday dinner. The food was well prepared and presented. Service was outstanding. The Sicilian Sunday Gravy was superb. Great Italian dinner spot in Charleston.

    Food was excellent and restaurant had a great ambiance with low lighting and candlelight. Only complaint was that when people walked in the front door would stick open and it was pretty cold. Despite it being small and filled; it was amazingly easy to carry on a conversation. Lizzie, our server, was new but excellent and very friendly. Would definitely go back.

    Food, drinks and Chloe were great! She suggested a great little place for a night cap that was perfect for me. I was alone on business but will be back with family for pleasure soon! Vincent’s will be at the top of our list!

    My husband and I chose Vincent Chicco’s because it was close to the Music Hall, and we love Italian food. We were so pleasantly surprised by the service, the two Ella’s! They were professional and attentive, great timing too! But, at the same time sweet and genuine. And, the one that was training, it was her first full shift! The food was amazing too. They let me sub both the starch and the veggie on my dish, and it was flawless. We also thought the portions were generous and the house-made pasta, delicious. The wine menu is enormous as well. The ambience was nice, subtle lighting, and music just at the right level. We will definitely visit again! Thank you for being the little gem at the end of the alley:)

    This was our first time here, but won’t be the last. The food and service were both great. The clams oreganata were not quite as we expected them to be, meaning they were a bit different from clams oreganata that we’ve had elsewhere. My husband had eggplant parm and really liked it. The highlight of our meals was the duck cacciatore. It was so delicious! If nothing else, go there just to have it!

    Arrived for an early dinner before a show, we had never been to Vincent Chicco's and we were looking forward to it. First thing, the service was outstanding! We ordered a starter of Cherrystone clams which were delicious and then we ordered the burrata salad, the cacio e tartufo pasta and the braised short rib. We told our server we were going to share each of the plates and to please bring them out as separate courses. She not only did that but each dish was split in the kitchen and the presentation was lovely, not like they just took 1/2 and put on another plate. We were not rushed at all, items were brought out with plenty of time to enjoy them and have conversation. Our experience was absolutely fabulous and will be dining there again

    Loved the entire experience! Our server was charming, & very attentive. The roasted grape salad was yum, as was the Sunday Gravy entree! Will definitely add Vincent's to our 'fav' list!

    Service was not good. We did not get appetizer Plates or serving pieces with the appetizers. My boyfriend was given a drink in a CAN! No glass no ice! Took forever with a large party of 9. Food was okay. Drinks were pretty good. Again service was just miserable. I would not go again.

    I really enjoyed everything I had. From the opening small bites to my entree. I had the Cacio e Tartufo and added shrimp. EVERY BITE WAS GOOD!!

    The food and pricing was excellent. Seating and ambience the highlight of the evening. Service was just fine, nothing excellent, but did not take away from the experience. The pasta is very fresh and the drinks are classic. Just have the right bartender mix it for you!

    Our server was attentive and competent but the food, from appetizer, salad to entree was bland, tasteless and unappealing. I've eaten a lot of places in Charleston and you can certainly leave this one off the list.

    I celebrated my birthday with husband and friends. Wonderful atmosphere. Chloe was our waitress... fun and engaging. Everyone ordered something a little different, and all dishes were fabulous! Do not miss out on the meatball and polenta appetizer!!

    We had a great experience and will definitely be back! Beautiful restaurant in an historic building. We had great service and our food was delicious. One of our party had the steak, it rivaled steaks we've had at top steakhouses in Vegas and NYC. Pasta was fresh, loved the pesto sauce!

    Food was just ok. Menu needs more choices. Soup should be served hot. Never offered more bread. Server had 6 tables and was just over whelmed. He was polite and knowledgeable but simply didn’t have enough time to serve us. Kids burger was over cooked/dry Seafood dish was not great. Wish we would have chosen a different place.

    Great service by Katelyn!!! She was awesome. We come from nyc and go to hundreds of restaurants here. She was perfect! Quick and precise everything was correct. She thought ahead and was great. The hostess however needs to bring menus with her to the table when she seats someone haha Katelyn had to bring us menus as well as two other tables
