The bar was busy and loud while the restaurant was nearly empty. The food was good; I enjoyed it. A pair at another table were practically shouting at each other because of the noisy bar. I would come again for the gnocchi.

Wait staff confused about who was to service my table. Asked my original waitress to bring me two things at two different times she never brought my requests. She was quick to bring the bill . Food was so so. The soup was awful. Salad was good. I definitely will not be returning.

All and all a positive experience. The server was kind and made spot on recommendations. The food was certainly worth the cost and the ambiance distracted from the fact that it was within a hotel.

My wife and I were there for Valentine's and we both thoroughly enjoyed the Rum Runner salmon dinner. It was cooked exactly as we ask. We enjoyed the Merlot for me and Pinot Grigio for my wife. The desserts were excellent. The only downside is the restaurant does not provide a service for having a bouquet of flowers at the table. I scheduled flowers with reservation and I called earlier in day to confirm and all was good at that time. During meal I inquired about bouquet and was told by "we do not do that service on Valentines". Very disappointing. I had to stop by Fresh Market on way home and have my wife pick out a bouquet. For a restaurant rated as this one, it is the first time I did not have a bouquet for my wife at table.

The food and the service was excellent. I had the scallops with risotto & asparagus & would highly recommend it. My wife had tomato bisque and calamari, both delicious!

Went on mother’s day with a reservation since we had 7 in our party. Very busy, but seated promptly and drink orders taken. Buffet was very good, especially the shrimp/crab meat platter and cheeses, prime rib sliced to order. Breakfast foods were fine but nothing special. Dessert table had many options and all good. At $30 each, a little pricey. But good service and nice dining.

Excellent friendly and professional staff. Excellent selection of food and food taste. Classy upscale feeling.
The only thing I would add is to the desserts. Need some Italian pastries. Mini Creme puffs, cannolis and eclairs and Italian cookies. Otherwise was wonderful anyway.

My experience there was horrible. The server was rude, and we were charged for the wrong food. Unorganized, I understand busy, and they were not even busy. My date and I sat there for more than 1hr before being asked anything, and another 30 mins before receiving the check

Probably one of the best restaurants in Greenville. I travel about 3 days a week, sometimes more, and never get food or service this good. I am a diamond member with Hilton so you could say I have tried several of their restaurants, this is by FAR the best.

This is not a restaurant. It’s a hotel bar. The food was good, but they ran out of French fries. It’s just not really a restaurant. And you can definitely just walk in, as the place was empty.

Good meal though not great. The waiter was extremely nice but not educated well on dining/serving etiquette and types of cocktails/drinks but he was trying his best which made up for the lack of preparation the restaurant should have given him. Example: he came back and asked if I wanted a gin or vodka dirty martini when I ordered a dirty Grey Goose martini. When I said : Grey Goose, he looked at me confused so I explained. The Brussel sprouts are AMAZING! Definitely order them. Though mine came with my entree, I think you can get them separate as well. The chicken was good. The Mac and cheese that came with entree was dry and just not made well. The oysters had good flavor but over cooked. Nice atmosphere, low key and not energetic which was very nice and relaxing. A bit overpriced but I will eat there again.

Villedge has great food all around - especially love the sprouts appetizer (I normally hate Brussel Sprouts but I cannot get enough of these). Great service - absolutely NOT your typical hotel restaurant. Highly recommended!

I have visited this restaurant several times and in the past it was outstanding. This trip left a lot to be desired. The main difference was in the meal. It Lacked any flavor and was just bland. I don’t know what has changed but I cannot see myself going back anytime soon. Too expensive for quality you can get at your local Applebee’s.

Menu was different that what was posted on line, they need to update more often. Too much emphasis on crab meat and sweet sauces. They will omit the sauce if you ask. Server was very nice and attentive.

The restaurant was lovely and the food well prepared, but we were given a very limited and very expensive menu. Nothing we had seen on the website menu was available and all the prices were jacked up for ECU graduation weekend. I would not recommend going unless you call ahead and make sure you get the regular menu that is on their website menu. We were all very disappointed with the limited menu and our luncheon for 6 people was $365.

Disappointing table. We asked to be moved away from a kitchen door just to be put at a table that rocked. Hostess had an attitude about moving us, despite the fact I made the reservation a month ago. Otherwise dinner was excellent.

Date night with wife. Looking for quiet and romantic venue. Vile Edge filled the bill. (We completed our meal as the live music was starting). Wait staff attentive, almost too attentive. Food was creative and tasty. Atmosphere is trendy. Bar and restaurant are in same room. Restaurant only has about 15 tables (plus small room for larger parties).
Fork was dirty. Server gladly replaced but no service recovery offered. That was a buy of a turn off but would return.

The food in this restaurant is superb! We were treated like special guests from the moment we walked in the door. It was my birthday and my sister and Mother took me there. I had a chicken salad with cranberries and nuts sandwich with a bowl seafood gumbo. We were there at lunch so I got the half sandwich and the bowl of gumbo. The half-sandwich was as large as a regular sandwich and the gumbo was a large bow. I couldn't eat it all! We also had the chocolate chip bread pudding-absolutely delicious! I will be going back!
