They need to fix the table - when anyone tried to cut something on it the table shifted and almost spilled the drinks!
Good meal though not great. The waiter was extremely nice but not educated well on dining/serving etiquette and types of cocktails/drinks but he was trying his best which made up for the lack of preparation the restaurant should have given him. Example: he came back and asked if I wanted a gin or vodka dirty martini when I ordered a dirty Grey Goose martini. When I said : Grey Goose, he looked at me confused so I explained. The Brussel sprouts are AMAZING! Definitely order them. Though mine came with my entree, I think you can get them separate as well. The chicken was good. The Mac and cheese that came with entree was dry and just not made well. The oysters had good flavor but over cooked. Nice atmosphere, low key and not energetic which was very nice and relaxing. A bit overpriced but I will eat there again.
Villedge has great food all around - especially love the sprouts appetizer (I normally hate Brussel Sprouts but I cannot get enough of these). Great service - absolutely NOT your typical hotel restaurant. Highly recommended!
I have visited this restaurant several times and in the past it was outstanding. This trip left a lot to be desired. The main difference was in the meal. It Lacked any flavor and was just bland. I don’t know what has changed but I cannot see myself going back anytime soon. Too expensive for quality you can get at your local Applebee’s.
Food and drinks were bad. Came at 8 and it closed early at 9 because no one was there. Booooooo don’t waste your money
Menu was different that what was posted on line, they need to update more often. Too much emphasis on crab meat and sweet sauces. They will omit the sauce if you ask. Server was very nice and attentive.
The restaurant was lovely and the food well prepared, but we were given a very limited and very expensive menu. Nothing we had seen on the website menu was available and all the prices were jacked up for ECU graduation weekend. I would not recommend going unless you call ahead and make sure you get the regular menu that is on their website menu. We were all very disappointed with the limited menu and our luncheon for 6 people was $365.
Waiter brought main course while appetizers were still being eaten. Salmon was undercooked.

Nice and quiet dinning for special occasions. Food is a little pricey but it is delicious.
Disappointing table. We asked to be moved away from a kitchen door just to be put at a table that rocked. Hostess had an attitude about moving us, despite the fact I made the reservation a month ago. Otherwise dinner was excellent.
Date night with wife. Looking for quiet and romantic venue. Vile Edge filled the bill. (We completed our meal as the live music was starting). Wait staff attentive, almost too attentive. Food was creative and tasty. Atmosphere is trendy. Bar and restaurant are in same room. Restaurant only has about 15 tables (plus small room for larger parties).
Fork was dirty. Server gladly replaced but no service recovery offered. That was a buy of a turn off but would return.
Came down for Parent's weekend at ECU and we were looking for a nice steak dinner! Excellent, I will be back in November.
The food in this restaurant is superb! We were treated like special guests from the moment we walked in the door. It was my birthday and my sister and Mother took me there. I had a chicken salad with cranberries and nuts sandwich with a bowl seafood gumbo. We were there at lunch so I got the half sandwich and the bowl of gumbo. The half-sandwich was as large as a regular sandwich and the gumbo was a large bow. I couldn't eat it all! We also had the chocolate chip bread pudding-absolutely delicious! I will be going back!
Always very good food. We preferred a different side and the chef said no problem. The filet was cooked to perfection. Service is very very good.

Dinnerand service was excellent! We went for quiet conversation with friends and didn't know they had live music that night. It was ok but wouldn't have gone there for a quiet dinner if I'd realized that.

Have been to the Villedge a couple times...Being able to watch them cook in the wood-fired oven is grand! Would have liked the bottom of the crust to be a little more crispy...we did eat earlier in the evening so maybe the hearth was not hot enough! Was perfect the first time we went for lunch tho!!
Really nice place food was good only thing was my mash potatoes was cold when they brought my plate to me but other then that it was great service i would come back.
App was good! Overall just too expensive for what you get. $35 filet had no seasoning. Very bland. That was the most disappointing dish. The Mahi Mahi was delicious! Waitress was great!!!
Great food. Not too busy on a Thursday night. Delicious dessert. Mocktail options available as I am nursing. It was really good.

Good for a hotel restaurant. A little more pricey than I would have thought for the area but overall it was good for our dinner after traveling all day and staying there at the Hilton.
The restaurant was not busy at all but we waited 45 min for our food. Our drinks took an exceptionally long time to arrive and we were almost done before we were asked if we wanted another drink. The food was just OK. I had the seafood shrimp and grits and it was swimming in a tomato broth. It ruined the whole dish. Everything was tomato flavored and the rest of the flavors were drowned out

Our children gave us certificate for our 50th anniversary. Food was quite good. I had the shrimp and lobster dish and husband had the hangar steak. Our only complaint was the speed of service. We received our food as was expected but once we ate, I finished first, waitress took my plate as my husband finished. It was 20 minutes before she returned for his and then 10 more before we got our ticket. We motioned to waitress twice but nothing, hope it was because she wasn't looking because they were not busy. Yes, we will return, we believe in second chances.
Food was great, great location, but definitely needed a little help in the waitstaff area. Not enough servers for a very busy Valentines night.
Food is great. Katie at the bar is fantastic. One of my fav spots in Greenville. I eat here a couple of times a month or more. The Filet and cheese potatoes is premium.

Read some pretty good reviews and decided to give the place a try on my wife's 50th birthday.
Not sure what the positive reviews were about. Service was friendly but disjointed and slow. Appetizers and entrees arrived together (so no timing on delivery). Her pizza was good, I had the filet which was to be medium but was medium rare (more to rare).
Given the price I expected much better service and quality.
will not go again nor recommend such. There are better restaurants to go into Greenville and this is not one of them.
Appetizer order never placed and served. Food decent. Pulled chicken dish tasty but not hot enough. Filet meal tasty and good sides but meat was on tougher side for an expensive cut.
Loved ambience and had heard good things. Meal didn't meet expectations.
Dinner was excellent. Our server Kingston was very good. Knew the menu and had great recommendations. Was very attentive!
My wife & I had a great date night at Villedge. Service was a little slow in the beginning but got better. The food & drinks were very good and we both talked about coming back again. It will be hard to find a better steak in Greenville.
Made reservation to celebrate my mom's birthday. Table was set in advance of us arriving. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The restaurant was very modern and food was excellent . We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
The overall experience was a good one. However, there was a discrepancy with the menu on one of the items ordered at the table. The menu boasted pork belly on one of the items but when it came out, it more resembled pulled pork. My friend stated that it was still good but had had known the dish was not truly pork belly he would have looked at other options. He paired his cocktail specifically to go with pork belly. I guess we just felt that transparency would have been warranted in this particular instance.
I will say, though, that I have dined at Villedge on several occasions and have always enjoyed my experience. The food is always great! I just find it unfortunate that my friend's first impression was not top-notch.
Never lets us down. Best place for girls lunch and dinner with friends. Food, drinks, service, crowd. It all works!
Our server, Ally, was awesome. My daughter is a vegetarian and the chef came up with a very tasty dish for her. I don't eat hummus, but we got as an appetizer and I loved it! My son-in-law had the salmon; my husband had the ribeye (he can't have carbs & they gladly substituted for asparagus). I had the filet and the potatoes tasted far better than they looked. We ended with the Earthquake dessert - an awesome combination of chocolate & coconut. An extremely pleasant evening & meal to celebrate our anniversary. I highly recommend.
