   We were very lucky that this restaurant happened to be in our hotel. It was fantastic. Very homey, nice bar, excellent menu and best service ever. We had charred octopus, fresh trout on greens and the roasted chicken. All dishes were unique and delicious! We tried the local homemade ice cream and it was above expectations. We had all our breakfast meals there as well and those meals were equally as excellent. Our waitperson, Christina, who served us dinner, greeted us at breakfast the next morning and even though she wasn’t our server for breakfast, she came and visited with us. She was truly the best waitperson we have met by a mile. The feeling is casual but it’s very lovely inside. I would actually go back to Asheville just to dine there.

   My husband ordered a medium rare NY strip steak, priced at 52.00 and received not even close to that with a steak very, dry with no seasoning. We did complain to the waitress who gave us a 10% discount off of one meal. A group of men standing around the bar talking very loudly also disappointed us. We had specifically requested being seated somewhere more quiet due to my husband’s hearing disability.

   fell in to this restaurant in our hotel. Exceeded our expectations. The pan seared trout was outstanding, as was the coconut cake with Chantilly strawberries for desert.

   This was absolutely an amazing experience. We brought our six year-old for his first trip to Biltmore. The staff was so kind and accommodating. We will book our next trip prior to leaving!

   My wife and had identical eals - Spring salads and trout entrees. Corn bread as a starter- great taste and not sweet. Pleasant meal.

   The food was average and overpriced. The staff was very nice and the place was clean and bright. Very disappointed for a Biltmore offering.
