Nothing like having dinner in the hotel lobby... I would recommend passing and go to the Bistro..
The Village Social at Biltmore Estate was a great experience. I highly recommend making a reservation to avoid a long wait. Great portion sizes and flavor, with excellent recommendations from the staff. All of the staff were pleasant and friendly, making it an enjoyable end to the weekend.
Food wasn’t as hot as I prefer but the food and drinks were very tasty. Our waitress Daphney was very pleasant and helpful!! I hope to return!
Excellent food and service! Calamari and prime rib highly suggested
We had the most wonderful dinner at Village Social. We stopped in earlier in the day to let them know we would be a few minutes late and the host was extremely accommodating and pushed our reservation back 15 minutes. Then our waiter, Daniel, was absolutely wonderful. My husband raved about his cocktail and Daniel brought out the recipe for him. He also gave us local recommendations of where to watch a few games that evening. We were on our honeymoon and Daniel brought out a special dessert just for us! The entire experience was so wonderful and really made our trip to the Biltmore even better.
Such a great dinner! Loved the seafood soup dip choice (forget what it’s called) but it was incredible. I got the Caesar salad which was also delicious!
Waitress was not good. Didn’t check in. Delivered anniversary plate before we ate?? Brussels sprouts not good. Rib eyes was very good but a bit salty. Highlight was the bartender and drinks prior to dinner
Very troubling. Poor enforcement of mask wearing and social distancing.
15+ people singing around a table without masks.
Manager was alerted but seemed clueless.
The staff was very professional and attentive to your needs. The food came out pretty fast and delicious! We even took a dessert back to the room for later. Great experience!!
Food was really good, as were the drinks and service!
Our dinner was amazing! One of the best meals I have ever had.
Food was exceptional and reasonable priced. Menu has been scaled back because of the pandemic, but everything we ordered was thoughtfully prepared. The crab cake is largely crab—no fillers—and tasted very fresh. Don’t miss the house made chips and beer battered Brussels sprouts! I preferred ranch dressing with the sprouts, requested and promptly provided. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. Nice experience!
Lobster bisque was pretty delicious! But I wouldn’t recommend the crab cake. Sweet server.
Food was great. Bar lacked tropical fruit for any drinks rum runner, hurricane. Didn't provide any alternatives. Placed in a corner, busy location for dinner
Highly recommend. The BEST She Crab Bisque. Exceptional service!
I think a couple more entree choices would be good. Otherwise it was a good experience.
Picking up wine club distribution at the winery
The appetizers and dessert were delicious, but both of our entrees were overcooked. We didn’t complain because it wasn’t that huge of a deal, but that’s why we gave it four stars.
Food and service were beyond superb. Our waitress went above and beyond
The porkchop entree was outstanding! Biltmore never disappoints.
Everyone was very nice. Typical prices for eating on the resort. Don’t order the shrimp and Grits. My wife’s pork chops were outstanding
Absolute sham! This restaurant should NOT be on open table for the general public to make reservations. This is inside the Biltmore grounds so they charge by the person to enter the gate just to drive to the restaurant. We spent $250 to enter at 5pm to go have a $200+ subpar dinner (grits were gross and the desert was horrible). It's also not in the village - it's directly behind the hotel. So, for someone who is disabled it's horrific to get to.
Hello, First and foremost I wanted to apologize that you had such a trying time to reach our restaurant. We will add additional information to our listing to ensure future guests know that we are located within the Village Hotel in Antler Hill Village. In efforts to ensure clarity, the very first line of our restaurants landing page conveys our location on the Biltmore Estate and the need to have a ticket to the Biltmore Estate to dine in our restaurant. Thank you for your feedback.
Delicious maple salmon entree. I was wonderfully perplexed by the lemon caviar in my blackberry coconut custard dessert. I’ll be dreaming about my meal for a long time!
Delicious food, but over-priced
Daughter’s birthday. Food was fair quality but very overpriced.
The meal & the service were outstanding. My steak was cooked perfectly & the brussel sprouts were delicious. The wine & beer lists were good but my key lime martini was a highlight of the meal. Highly recommend!!! I gave a 3 star for ambiance because the retaurant opens up in to the hotel lobby & I felt like we were right on top of neighboring tables. Overall, a great experience & will return.
The food and service were both top-notch. The scallops are a must-try and the tequila mockingbird is to die for. Our server was super helpful as we reviewed the options on the menu and remained attentive during our time there.
Lovely restaurant, good food and wonderful service
Excellent, farm fresh experience! Best quality, relaxed upscale environment.
Server was okay, she didn't seem very happy to be there, but was still nice & efficient.
Loved it! The first night we had reservations, the second we did not. Even so, we were able to sit at the bar and have dinner vs waiting an hour and a half for a table!
Take away: get reservations! They are very accommodating. If you’re running late you can move your seating time back.
Food was excellent. I had the vegan vegetable bowl & my friend had the crab bisque. Both were excellent. I highly recommend the cheddar biscuits with blueberry jam as an appetizer/snack. Portion sizes were perfect! I pretty much cleaned my plate and didn’t feel stuffed. I was however too full for desert! 😔
Servers were pleasant. orders were taken quickly and food delivered in a timely manner.
I thoroughly appreciated the more casual atmosphere and live music.
Loved it so much we will be back!
We were staying at the Village Hotel for an anniversary getaway and decided to eat at the hotel for dinner. The food was amazing, the service was great. We were offered complementary champagne for our anniversary. We both decided we didn’t want dessert but they still brought us complementary truffles and fruit on a decorated plate with happy anniversary written in chocolate.
Fun place to enjoy a craft cocktail or a glass of local wine. Lively atmosphere with great service and delicious food. The scallops on the appetizer menu (big enough to be an entree for light eaters) were perfectly cooked - melted in my mouth!
At dinner, Tonya was a fabulous server, warm, funny, knowledgeable and a great addition to the evening!
For breakfast, their crab and pesto scramble (served over chunks of delectable potatoes) was amazing. Huge pile of lump crab meat on top of fluffy eggs scrambled with fresh pesto and perfectly sautéed onions - yum!
Grilled fish tacos were great along with sides. Summer did an excellent job with service. Always a great experience.
One of the winter benefits of being a passholder is the discount on Biltmore restaurants. We love the mussels. The Brussel sprout portion has shrunk. The salad which we shared was split in the kitchen and had perfect dressing
Vegy burger was a sad excuse for a burger. Wilted lettuce. No flavor. Two tiny pickles and the French fries were diner quality. Complete bust!
Excellent service! We all loved our food. My shrimp and grits was the best thing I've tried in the past 3 years! I would go there for sure again and recommend it to friends!!!
Bayley was fantastic and the food was all delicious
We were staying at the hotel and decided to have dinner here I went to the hostess and she said it was an hour wait until something was open. I went onto open table and got a reservation for 15 minutes from then and returned at my reserved time and the hostess Melissa made an offhand remark about open table always doing things that they "didn't approve of". When we were seated there were plenty of tables for my party of 3 to be seated at. The food was great and came out fast. The waitress was attentive and the atmosphere was great I would definitely eat here again maybe the hostess was in a bad mood
I rarely write reviews expressing disappointment but I just don't want someone else making a reservation for a special event like I did for my 50th birthday and being disappointed too. Don't get me wrong, this would be a nice place to eat on a typical vacation. The staff was attentive, the décor and seating was comfortable, the desserts and I could have a nice conversation with my husband and hear him. The fact that I paid $36 for a steak that consisted mostly of fat and covered with so much sauce that the taste of the steak didn't come through and 6 dime size potatoes was the most disappointing part. Hopefully, this info will be shared with the chef and they can alter this menu item to the customer's taste. Just want customers to be informed before ordering.
