My husband and I enjoyed our dining experience at the Village Social. The atmosphere, service and food were excellent. Our server Tonya was delightful and accommodating to our special needs. We will return and recommend to our visiting friends and family.
Jenna, the waitress, was very pleasant and attentive. The food was delicious and we had an enjoyable birthday celebration.
Great menu, excellent food and drinks! Wonderful place to stop at after touring the Biltmore.
We were a party of 6. Four out of six didn’t care for their meal. Specifically my 87 year old mother told the waitress she didn’t like her meal of shrimp and grits. Most of it was uneaten. The waitress neither offered to comp or substitute the item.
Arrived at dinner time so decided to eat at the Village Inn at the Biltmore Estate. There are several options but the menu at Village Social looked really good. Food and service were exceptional. Food and wine was very expensive but we throughly enjoyed our meal.
Very good. Wife loved her entree. Salmon. Excellent service.
Nice, casual date night spot. They have decent selection of wine and food options, would have liked to see a few more local wines to try but would recommend the cheese plate to start with. Great spot for a nice night out in Asheville
Had the Vegan bowl which was delicious along with an estate wine. Waiter was charming.
The food was fabulous and the staff was very pleasant!
Just ok for the time.
Very good experience!! Right next to the Winery which was very convenient. Nice to do a tasting before or after
This was a very nice restaurant overall!! Ambience not so much. The service was great. Appetizers delicious! I had the Black Grouper special which was delicious but 3 others had the chicken and puff pastry said chicken was dry. I had asked for a table not in a noisy area which they did accommodate us which was really appreciated. I'd recommend it. If your not looking for ambience this is a great place.
Friend Green Tomatoes, Shrimp Cocktail, and Crab Bisque were all great. I didn’t enjoy the Frogmore Stew. Service was great. We will return.
We loved our food. I had the Scallops... perfectly seasoned and so big!! My friend had the porkchop... really yummy. Highly recommend.
Food was fantastic as was the service. My only problem was finishing it. Everything I had just said at Antler Hill Village. We didn’t realize that meant inside of the Inn. Now that I know I’m sure we’ll be back the next time we visit.
Everything was amazing from our server to the dessert.
Great food and service. Great experience.
It was too noisy and impersonal food was good need to expand menu
The wait staff were courteous and helpful. Portions of food were plentiful. My husband and I had breakfast there for five days-not to be missed!
Great restaurant when visiting Biltmore. Service was wonderful. Food was excellent.
Great service and delicious burger and shrimp and grits! In and out in one hour for mid afternoon lunch, perfect!
Awesome awesome awesome
This was without a doubt some of the best food my wife and I have ever eaten. We had the Sirloin, and Salmon and all of it was excellent.
My husband had frogmore stew and I had scallops with linguini. Both were excellent!
First time out since COVID. The restaurant layout was laid out with lots of space between tables. Social was able to accommodate and modify the fish entree to meet my husband’s low sodium restrictions and yet make a flavor-full meal.
The dessert was fun and enough for two.
The atmosphere was great. Our server was most attentive and helpful and the salmon was wonderful!!
Don’t miss a chance to dine there if your in the area.
We were there to celebrate my friend's birthday. We did make reservations, which I strongly suggest. Our waitress was amazing - checking on us frequently but not overbearing. We declined dessert, but she brought a birthday celebration plate of fruit and a couple truffles. The food was delicious. The Beer Battered Brussel Sprouts were amazing, and I'm not really a fan of Brussel sprouts. We shared the Crab Cake Sandwich with a side of Cauliflower Ginger Slaw. Our waitress split the sandwiches on two different plates - a really nice addition. The cocktails were tasty - Tequila Mockingbird and Barrel Aged Manhattan.
Highly recommended for the delicious food and ambience.
We arrived 15 minutes early, and were told our table would not ready for about 20 minutes. After waiting 35 minutes, I went back to the desk. I was chided for being late. They simply forgot us.
The place is so loud, conversation is impossible.
Our server, Rebekah, was exceptional...thank you! Food came as ordered and was brought out fairly quickly in spite of a fairly busy lunch crowd. Food was pretty good...a bit on the pricey side, but that's part of the Biltmore experience I guess.
Conveniently located next to the wine shop, we enjoyed a tasting before lunch. It was a cool day and the She Crab Bisque was very good. The crab cake sandwich was okay but could have used more flavor. The staff was delightful and informing. We enjoyed our experience and would return.
Service was bad. We were seated right away but a waitress did not come by for at least 10 minutes after we sat down. Drink order took longer than normal to be delivered. Ordered she crab soup that was thick and coagulated. Burrata was dried out. Saffron orzo was bland. Cheesecake was terrible. No flavor.
Filet Mignon was perfect!! Service was great!! I’d definitely go back.
Again, service was very poor and food was average at best.
Great pork chops. Great service. Enjoyed it. It was a great start to our trip.
Our service was not good and it seemed they were way understaffed. Host that seated me got me very excited about the scallops pasta dish and said I should order right away as sometimes they run out. Our server took at least 10 minutes to show up at our table and promptly told us they were out of scallops. Everything from there seemed downhill. Grilled oysters were the highlight of our food. She crab bisque was so thick it was almost like a gravy (We lived in Charleston for 18 years so we know what it should taste and look like!) My fish had more skin than fish and the "lemon buerre blanc" had no flavor at all. What was supposed to be "herb potatoes" had no herbs and I had to ask for a salt shaker. There was one medium sized whole potato with a little crust on it and a couple of "potato skins". For $38 I was truly disappointed. Only ate about 1/3 of it and all server asked was if I wanted a box, which I declined. Other entree was my husband's "Chef's Estate Cut", which was just okay. We turned down dessert based on experience to that point. The shining star of the evening was my husband's cocktail expertly made by bartender Eric - something called "George's Smoked Old Fashioned"! I have never written a review like this and I'm sad to say I will not return here or recommend to friends.
Service was the biggest issue that made the experience bad.
Great food and service. Outside dining was delightful.
We had a great lunch here as always. Everything was cooked perfectly and the service was 5 stars
Took my wife there for her birthday and had a great time. The young lady that took care of us (she’s working on her Master Degree in Social Work), was fantastic, pleasant, professional, and took time just to socialize with us. There was a manager on duty that was like the best manager I’ve seen in ages, she was everywhere, assisting her staff and the customers and was as nice as anyone I’ve ever met. The food, believe it or not, topped the level of service we received, I mean the flavor was outrageously good and the food was cooked and prepared to perfection, I plan on visiting again next month with my daughters...
Our meals were very good, waitstaff very knowledgeable and helpful, ambiance ok inside, felt like we were in a hotel lobby but we will definitely go back as it may be a sign of the times. Overall good dining experience.
