My son and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. The staff was awesome. Food was amazing!
It's very nice place with good food. we had to eat outside because of the shutdown, but it was fine.
Villa Roma never disappoints. The tents they erected are first class The service and food is always delicious and I look forward to many more meals there💕
Food was really good, and the service was attentive and prompt.
We went during OC restaurant week. We ordered empanada and salad. We also skirt steak with chimichurri . It was so delicious. It was flavorful. We ordered Tiramisu. We found a new place to go for dinner!
Great food, we all loved our dinners and desserts were exceptional!!!
Great place and outstanding food
Wonderful choices from light to elaborate dishes. Pastas are delicious, rice paella an epicurean delight, and the tastiest choices of meat!!!!!!.
We ordered empanadas, mixed steak plates and ciopinno. The steak was bland and tough. The ciopinno was mediocre and overpriced. The food looks good but has no flavors. One of the worst meal I’ve had. The service is not great either as the waiter gave us the wrong empanadas and forgot one of our orders.
Great food and freindly staff. They offer great portions aswell.
We went for Father’s Day but often go here for every day dining. The food is always excellent and the experience is great.
The food was good and an excellent value. I was concerned about the social distancing but the restaurant didn’t seem to have that in mind when seating customer. Even after we asked to be moved they subsequently sat two other party to either side of us when there was a lot of room still in the restaurant. One person to our right was coughing the other was a very large group so we weren’t very comfortable. This was all before the forced closures and as a result I decided I wasn’t going to go out to eat anymore.
The food was great, large portion sizes. The service was not the best. With only 3-4 tables being occupied, we had to wait quite some time for food to be ordered, check brought, and to go box. What could have been a quick 40 minute lunch took over an hour with the service delays.
Went for special Restaurant Week menu. Chicken empanada was tasty. Skirt steak was medium rare as ordered and very tender. Service was very slow.
Great place great food
The restaurant was surprisingly quiet for prime lunchtime. Service was great, and we felt welcome to stay a while and get business done.
Great place good food
Wonderful menu choices from an array of Italian dishes to Argentinian steaks. The portions were large, the prices were reasonable.
Great food and drink just lousy service by the 2nd tier help. We’ll be back...
The customer service and food were excellent. To be fair, there was a LOUD Christmas party in the main room of the restaurant that was so loud we could not talk at our table. The restaurant was very accommodating and moved our party to the heated patio area...and that was cozy and fine. Maybe my 3 stars on the ambiance was harsh, but the rest of the experience was terrific.
We will go back!
went for Thanksgiving dinner and it wasn't good. Turkey was dry, gravy was over salted, stuffing was mediocre, vegetables were good.
Great place eating outside with the Dogs good food
Great place, great food and excellent service
Great place, service and ambience
Please tone down the music volume. It is to loud and disturbing while we are dining.
Lasagna was not good. Eggplant parmesan was fair. Not a repeat
Great dinning place good food and ambience hv
The owner only waited on Caucasian tables that were seated with families or the elderly. He went out of his way to ignore everyone else, especially couples, Asians and Hispanics. It’s obvious he only cares to get more tips. He tried way too hard attending to his favorites by bringing out their dishes and refilling their glasses of wine while everyone else was hungry waiting for their food. He made eye contact with us several times but never came by to see how everything was and kept attending to Caucasian parties.
Loved our dining experience!
Great food and great service!
Great food, excellent service, nice music - we all had a good time.
Villa Roma is an excellent Argentinian - Italian restaurant. You have many choices to pick from their vast menu. Their preparation of their food is very good and also a very nice atmosphere. They have a pretty good wine list to choose from. Their waiters are very, very good and attentive. You do not feel rushed when you are there. You cannot go wrong in having lunch or dinner at the Villa Roma.
WE enjoyed our brief stay at Villa Roma. We were in a conference and only a little bit of time to spend. Otherwise we enjoyed the ambiance and the taste of the food. The service was quite good also. Thank you
People were nice enough. However the place looked like a retirement home inside. The food was overpriced, mediocre, and the service was slow. There was a bowling-alley-style light display and overly loud music. They also stopped everything 3 times to sing happy birthday to people.
Can't tell from the outside, but this is a very nice restaurant on the inside. Delicious food, great portions, great service. My friend had the lamb chop special - 4 or 5 chops with a delicious sauce plus veggies. I had the Villa Roma Scampi w/equally delicious sauce plus veggies. Too full for dessert. All the food passing us by looked amazing. Highly recommend
First let me say the service was excellent! The food, however, was disappointing. Especially the pasta dishes. Twice I’ve ordered a pasta with shrimp dish and regretted it both times. The pasta was undercooked (I get that some people like “al denté”, but when your pasta crunches when you bite into it you’re entering the raw department), and yet the shrimp were rubbery and overdone. We also ordered the signature meat dish for 2, and it was a mishmash of meats that looked thrown together. It was okay—not great. Overall, the atmosphere was good and the servers were excellent. One dish that we did enjoy was the calamares Fritos, which was lightly fried perfectly and served with a very tasty marinara sauce.
we are very disappointed that our reservation to celebrate our engagement with dear friends was ruined because no one informed us they had canceled our reservation due to filming .
unfortunately my fiance can not stay outside for long periods of time due to severe light sensitivity.
so we could not take the alternative of eating outside .
such poor service will not gain any good reviews from us and we will definitely not recommend the establishment to others.
we will not be recommending this location to our respective companies as a suggestion for company dinners or catering .
especially since we received no apology for our wasted time .
Excellent service. Outstanding food with a tremendous variety. Entertainment was great. We enjoyed our evening very much.
We love the Entrana. Large portion of skirt steak made to order with delicious chimichurri sauce. The we had to save room for flan with caramel and whipped cream dollop. Yum.
Majority of the dishes are Italian, and very tasty. Veggies were undercooked, not so tasty. Fried potatoes as side dish to Veal Parmesan seemed a little odd? Argentine dishes are limited and pricey. Would love to see more Argentine options, better pricing.
Overall experience was wonderful!
