   We sat out on the patio. It's restaurant week so the 6 of us ordered apps for the table and then our own lunch. Food was delicious and plentiful. There is no better setting anywhere!

   We had very nice "Restaurant Week" lunch. The food was delicious, fresh, and not skimpy. We loved watching the seabirds from our waterfront windows! We will happily go back again!

   My wife and I have been going to "View" for 25 years+... back when it was called "The View"! Through the years, service levels and quality of food varied from Hmmmmm, to OK, to very good... the location being the draw... what a gorgeous spot, either looking out from the windowed bar to sitting outside on their protected, or open deck.... even inside, you have an elegant, "by the water" feel. Their game is very much up these days however.... be it a new Chef, new management strategy or training for the team, the menu and food preparation is creative and well thought out and the staff, friendly, available and attentive. View lately has become our "Go To" as they can be a quick "Happy Hour" stop in, or a romantic, waterside table for two. We thought Wednesday night Bingo might be corny, but what a hoot! Great folks having some good fun. I recently brought an old business friend and spent 3 hours on the outside deck catching up and very well taken care of by the team. We are looking forward to the summer months as we can bring our old boat "up the river" to a well maintained dock and have a fun summer dinner, afterwards, anchoring out in the river for an overnighter. All the elements are checked. Thanks to the team at the View for bringing their venue to top form, and working hard to make it the "Go To" that it now is. Bravo!

   We really enjoyed our Easter dinner. The food was great! The service was good and the location is beautiful. We were very happy with our experience.

   WONDERFUL ATMOSPHERE OVERLOOKING THE CONNETQUOT RIVER. FOOD IS EXCELLENT. I ESPECIALLY LOVE THE CRAB CAKE APPITIZERS AND THE SALMON DISH IS DELICIOUS! I JUST WISH THE HAPPY HOUR LASTED PAST 6:00 FOR PEOPLE WHO WORK AND CAN'T GET THERE THAT EARLY. SHOULD END AT 6:30 OR 7:00. OTHERWISE, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

    Excellent food and value. Weather was bad that night but certainly ambiance would have been better. Large portions as well. Pork chop, swordfish, tuna, calamari, manhattan clam chowder, wedge and goat cheese salad all would highly recommend. Aperolol Peach Spritzer was very tasty and original.
