Great as usual!!!!! Best Cuban sandwich ever!!
Delicious, authentic Cuban cuisine! The staff is welcoming and friendly. Just go to Victor’s 1959 Cafe.
Best Cuban sandwich I've had in many years - full of meat and not greasy. Love the graffiti all over the booths and walls. The service was friendly and prompt. The food was very good. Would like to go back and try more dishes. My husband and I went there for date night and had a great time. A hidden gem. Make a reservation as the restaurant is not large.
We've gone here a bunch. It's very delicious. Very cool, cozy inside. Great for a date or a family meal. My favorite is the 'Lechon'-somethingrather. Get a shot of cuban coffee for dessert too if you want a sweet and tasty way to keep your night going. The only issue with this place is no parking, you will be parking on the street...oh well, no big deal.
It was delicious!
The prices have a climbed a bit since I was there last. Everything was great except our wobbly table. I was so worried my drink would spill. My husband propped his foot against it the whole meal.
Funky Bohemian atmosphere. Cuban menu comfort food..liked the chicken stew ans coconut cake. Thought the beef Viejo WAS WAY Overrated even tho on food Network. Dry and stringy, maybe it's supposed to be that way but not my taste. Service very helpful and unpretentious
I have been to Victors twice and both times I was astounded how vibrant and authentic the cuban food was. It's not a pretentious menu. Few items done extremely well. Try the Cubano Sandwich. Truly delicious. The atmosphere is tongue in cheek with graffiti everywhere and a feeling like this place really was 1959 Cuba. Small, charming, retro and clever with a taste of a country we may never be able to visit. I don't know who Victor is but I would like to thank him for his Cafe. Hasta pronto
First time here. Loved the delicious food and the off beat ambience. Great service as well and great value. Ill be back.
Our favorite hole in the wall restaurant. Delicious , perfectly prepared. A bit of a wait but well worth it.
Always love Victor's. Staff is friendly and knowledgable about the menu. Food never disappoints. Seating is small so best for groups of 4 or less.
Yummy Cuban food and the best cafè con leche! Really good service - I'll come back
The food here is amazing! Just walking in and breathing in the scent wafting from the kitchen , you know you're in the right place. Eclectic, cozy, fun, casual vibe with crazy good flavors. We'll be back!
Seriously some of the best food I’ve had in the Twin Cities - so flavorful! A must try.
This restaurant is a classic hole in the wall. Nowhere to sit or stand if you don't have a reservation. Christina was a great server with many suggestions. Cuban sandwich is excellent along with chicken.
The service was wonderful - everyone working there was so genuinely nice and really made us feel welcome. The food was absolutely delicious. I got the chicken fricasee and my husband got the shrimp criollo. Both were awesome, I cannot recommend the chicken fricasee enough. We had crab cakes and black bean soup as appetizers, which were both also really good. The crab cakes are a little pricy for what you get, but very delicious, so I thought they were worth it. I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!
When it’s ten below in Minnesota, who doesn’t think immediately of Havana? :) I usually think of Victor’s as a good summer evening meal, but winter is great too! I had their wonderful seafood paella, and companion had the special - a meatloaf with a chorizo baked into the middle! Both were perfect for the weather. Service was cheery as always. And there is always all of the writing on the walls to read. Don’t hesitate to enjoy this place any time of year.
We invited friends who had not eaten at Victors before. They enjoyed the atmosphere, interesting menu choices and great service. We each tried one of their specialties and shared. Cozy dining on a cold night.
This is an excellent place to go. Also have had breakfast here and highly recommend.
We loved Victor's! We weren't sure what Cuban food would be like, but it was delicious. Wonderful blends of flavors. Four of us each got something different, and as we shared, we couldn't decide what was the best because it was all so good. Wonderful, attentive service by Cara-I don't know how their tiny kitchen turns out the food as fast as it does.
I have to recommend the black bean soup-best I've ever had.
Also, the pina colado cake and flan were fabulous desserts.
