Vic’s is located in a beautiful old cotton warehouse overlooking the Savannah River and Historic River Street. With entrances on both Bay and River Streets, we are easy to access.     Got there 45 minutes early……advised concierge that we were early and they advised us to have a seat while tables were cleaned…..within 10 mins we were seated..!! The waiter was excellent and helped us diligently..!! Food was excellent and we will definitely eat there again..!!

    Our waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. The much touted Onion Soup was just okay. The seafood melange was very good. The shrimp and scallops cooked perfectly, the grilled lobster tail was edge burnt and gave it a tainted taste. The fillet was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth. Can’t miss the NY Cheescake with Praline sauce, it was amazing!

    We decided to try Vic’s because it was highly recommended via searching around. Boy were they wrong. We started out with raw oysters as an appetizer and they were a joke! They were tiny and seemed like they were once frozen. We get raw oysters back in our hometown- inland GA and they are bigger and better than these. We expected more considering we were on the coast! Our main course meals were pretty good but for the price you are paying at this restaurant it is lacking in quality. My husband ordered the shrimp and grits and they were good. I got the scallops recommended by our server- salty! Still tasty but be aware the food is salty. The restaurant was very loud. I wish I would have told them when booking the reservation that it was our anniversary so that we could have had a view of the water. The amount of money we spent at Vic’s for our anniversary dinner is sick considering it was not worth it. We got 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 3 cocktails and a dessert. $215. Pretty sad about that. It is a tourist attraction restaurant. I highly recommend that you do your research before booking and going. We will not return. Shoutout to our server. He did do a good job. Only thing was we asked for more bread to make up for the terrible oysters and he never brought them.

    First time here. Got a river side table. View was beautiful. Staff was great. Restaurant was beautiful. Good was excellent. I would recommend eating here and I would eat here again.

    We had a great first time experience. We sat by a window, but the view of the river isn’t much. However, the food was terrific. We had jumbo crab cakes that were packed with crab. My Blackened Shrimp Pasta was outstanding. The shrimp was cooked to perfection. The dish had a kick, but was not too spicy. My wife had Shrimp and Grits and they were delicious. The sauce was amazing. The complimentary biscuits were warm and buttery. Mentioned on Open Table we were celebrating a birthday. Vic’s gave us a slice of their decadent chocolate torte. Our server was really great. She looked after us very well without being obtrusive. The prices were surprisingly low.

    Fire alarm went off 20x while we were there so not the best experience. Waiter was pretty good but did not know the entire menu which he readily admitted and that was appreciated. Was less than impressed by the relaxed dress code as people were in tee-shirts and cutoff shorts. With so many options, doubt I return anytime soon.
