    Party upstairs so noisy kayle server excellent!shrimp appetizer excellent. Unfortunately the wagyu strip was underwhelming at that price point. Not hot and not as flavorful as expected. Manager and staff very professional

   Almost got seated at a high top table in the bar because I had asked for window seating. Yikes!!! The bar noise lever is too loud and annoying. Before we were seated we asked for another table in a quieter part of the restaurant and without hesitation our accommodation was met. Yay!!! Love Vic’s!!!

   Our first time trying this popular tourist destination. Brunch was a disappointment. What serious brunch location doesn’t offer eggs Benedict? The only egg option was scrambled as a side order. The scallops and pecan coated flounder entrees were well prepared, but more of a heavy lunch or dinner entree than brunch options. The virgin marys were watery and strange concoction. It is a nice location, maybe the restaurant works better as a dinner option.

   Dining experience started out great as we were seated by the window overlooking the river at 6:45 for a 7:00 reservation. Waiter filled water glasses and said he would return for drink order. When he returned, we ordered drinks and said he would return to take our food order. I thought it took too long to bring drinks, like 20 minutes. When he finally brought the drinks, we placed food order consisting of one appetizer and two entrees. At some point there was a basket of biscuits delivered to the table by another server. At 8:00, we were out of drinks, out of biscuits and looking for the appetizer which showed up around that time. Our waiter showed back up and said our food was on the way and we ordered another round of drinks. Around 8:25, I asked why the food was taking so long and he said it was being put together as we speak. About 10 minutes later food showed up followed by our second drink order. All of the food was excellent and my wife even said this was the best steak she had ever eaten. Our waiter, sensing our frustration explained that high season had just begun and they were having staffing issues. It looked like he was taking care of our table and three others around us. He would also disappear for long stretches of time. So around 9:00, he showed back up and asked if we were interested in dessert which we were not. Check was as expected and reasonable for the food quality. So the bottom line is the flow was way off and could have been a lot better. 2 1/2 hours which should have been 1 1/2 hours for the entire dining experience. I have been to fine dining establishments that have taken this long but waiters were way more attentive and filled the time by checking on us more and asking if we wanted more of anything. This was NOT a fine dining restaurant!

    Dodd was expensive and very disappointing. Pasta overcooked. Sauce with no taste. Scallops over cooked. Risotto was gummy. Scallops were gritty with sand. Server was very nice and personable. Drinks were ok. Would never go there again. Very disappointing. Spent $44.00 on entre that was poorly cooked. Could not finish it
