Vic & Angelo's - Delray Beach
We have traveled the world looking for the greatest dishes and finest ingredients. We take pride in only importing the freshest products and ingredients for our culinary delights. Our sauces are made with San Marzano tomatoes imported from directly from Naples and our pizza dough contains water imported from New York.
Each of our signature Italian dishes are created in house, using traditional cooking methods practiced by Italians for countless generations. We even hand-make our pasta, mozzarella and sausage!
Our atmosphere is warm and friendly, yet elegant and refined. We believe in the traditional Italian dinner, where everyone comes together to feast. So we invite our guests to sit down, relax, and enjoy their food and conversation with family and friends.
Food was great but service was absolutely horrible.
We are on spring break with teenagers and it was perfect.
The service was horrendous, the host/hostess attendants were quite rude. Our grandparents were questioned about their reservation; the host was unsure whether to take them to the table or not. Lastly, part way through the meal, I walked to the restrooms: which were trashed with toilet paper and scattered trash. The food was a bit pricy for its mediocre quality. We heard great things about this restaurant before entertaining the idea of coming, and we were hoping for a great meal in the heart of Delray. Maybe you will a better experience, but we will sadly not return to the dismal atmosphere.
Service is outstanding. Food was good but not great. The salads needed a bit more dressing and the chicken was a little tough. If you eat outside, be prepared for the high speed train that zips by, its enough to take your eyebrows off your face :>)
Rachel was an excellent waiter and the food was delicious, as always , from the octopus to the veggie pizza, linguini and Bronzino. 👍👍
This was surprisingly awesome. Got a table outside for a party of 5. The wait staff was so attentive, friendly and knowledgable. I ordered the Tricolore Salad for an appetizer and it was delicious. My entree was the Blackened Mahi Mahi and again it was cooked to perfection. I asked for it to be lightly blackened and it was delicious. We did sit outside and the Train went by a couple times. It made it the experience a lot of fun. Also, great people watching!
Food was good, service was good. Very busy and lively crowd. A little too noisy to have conversation, but would definitely go again and recommend
It was the worst service we’ve had in any restaurant in Delray in 20 years. Our server never focused on us, always looking at or thinking about something else. Therefore, he never got one thing right or remembered to do what he said he was going to. We sat there for over 2 hours. If he is our server the next time we return, we will have to leave. We told the maitre d, who indicated that there have been problems with this man. If that’s the case, we do not understand how you can keep him around.
Dinner was very good. Waiter ‘G’ very friendly and provided great service
Best experience I’ve had in a restaurant in a long time.
At expensive restaurants I expect better service
I dont like to chase my waiter for silverware or cheese for my pasta
Food was excellent though
Initially we checked with the hostess to see if there was a table available for 2 - it was 7:22 pm on a Sunday night. We were told it would be an hour wait unless we had a reservation. We walked away and I went on the open table app and made a reservation for 7:30 outdoor seating with no problem.! We went back and we were seated immediately (inside, no outdoor available). The restaurant is nice, location is great and our waiter Joe was very pleasant. The food however was a disappointment. I had the special - shrimp risotto which I expected to be good as a main dish in an Italian restaurant. It was soupy and cheesy. I barely touched it and did not take it home. My friend has the chicken cacciatore and said it was okay. The garlic bread was delicious. Overall it was disappointing and I won’t be returning.
Great food, nice place, extremely noisy. Hard to talk.
God awful doesn’t do this place justice.
I am not one to pan a place or give something two thumbs down. But this is deserved.
We were here a while back and in that time the ownership has changed. Menu changed. Staff has changed.
Not worth the money we dropped for rude inattentive staff, dirty menus and utensils, a very loud loud loud atmosphere. In our competitive market this place needs a lot of work to gain me back. Nothing was done to make the experience any better while we were there.
. It’s off my list and we made a point to come back since the previous experience was so good ! 🤷🏼♀️.
Ate outside. Hostess was very kind and helped us move tables when the fan made it too windy for my mother. Manager stopped by the table to check on us twice, which is always nice. Our server was super fun and interacted well with my elderly mother. Over all great experience :)
Best Chicken & Waffles! Unlimited Mimosas! 13$$ great deal
It's been a while since we dined here because our last experience was not up to the standards that we are used to. But, missing it- we decided to give it a try this past weekend. The food was fantastic, the service was good- not great- but they were busy, but the service could have been better. In any event, we had a terrific time and are excited to frequent one of our favorite places again!
We are locals that dine on the Ave a lot. Took 15 min for a bartender to acknowledge us. We had an 8:00 reservation and didn’t sit down until 8:40 (only because I kept checking). Hostesses (there are 3) didn’t seem to have a handle on things. There are too many other great choices in Delray to put up with this and feel unwelcomed.
Excellent overall. They work extremely hard to make sure everything is perfect. Our waitress was great. Even the gentleman delivering the bread baskets is very polite and courteous. We had a mostly five star experience and will return soon. A bit noisy at times but not overwhelming. Highly recommended
Well...we eat there often, and this time it was disappointing. Our server was not the best. Constantly reaching over everyone - to serve, to fill water, etc. He also seemed to have forgotten my dinner as it arrived 10 minutes after everyone elses (we were a party of 4) and it almost tasted like it had been sped up by using a microwave (veal parmagiana). We only tipped 15% after this, due to the poor service. We will be beack there, but if service like this becomes a frequent occurrence, we will stop going, as there are many other great choices for food on Atlantic Ave.
One dinner was completely re-heated and not fresh enough...we did ask for it to be taken off the check, and it was removed.
Service was not attentive
Drinks took much too long to arrive
Food is not as good as it used to be.
All of our appetizers entrees and desserts were delicious
Best food and service in town, people here are very friendly. Tyler was great, cant wait to come back and join them.
Not the same management, service or food from years ago. Ushered in the door with the promise of "fresh Italian food" was anything but.
Emabarrased to bring my out of town family here. Lousy quality on staples like "San marzano" sauce which was essentially over sweetened bland marinara. The pizza was soggy, not crispy as it once was. Mozzarella was inadequate in terms of taste texture and fat content for pizza. Service was poor including a lipstick emblazoned wine glass that went unnoticed except for my wifes keen eye. Never ever again.
Great food with lots of atmosphere and a nice location. Service with a smile too.
Very enjoyable experience highlighted by a fun atmosphere and great food.
Lunch date to celebrate my promotion! Saying that it was an enjoyable experience is an understatement. The hostess was fun and upbeat and the server was attentive and entertaining. At one point in time I dropped my fork and the hostess noticed and quietly set another one next to me on the table. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and you can’t beat the prices. I wish I was in Delray more often to visit.
Horrible service from beginning to end. No one seemed to care if we were happy or not. They had a take it or leave it attitude. The food was just ok. Nothing great.
Had the Milano panini made to perfection... chicken Milanese, avocado, tomato, and arugula on the worlds most delicious bread 🤤 service was fantastic, drinks were delicious, and I can’t wait to come back. Thank you
Gee was fantastic!
Pastas were incredible!
Loved there garlic bread!
Mixed review on the food. The good: chicken Marsala and the papadelle and the burata special (although expensive). The bad: chicken parmigiana and eggplant appetizer both over sauced and over cooked.
Date night with my love. I got the mahi mahi with spinach and mashed potatoes and he got the lobster ravioli special. Rachel was amazing and super attentive. Great service, great food, great night 💫
Manger Derek always on top of things to make sure you’re dining experience goes well. I really like that about a place when they make you feel special.
Food is just ok....very close to the train tracks can very noisy and annoying....service was slow and waitress was always not around....We had a better experience at there West Palm Beach location
Extremely noisy!! Clanging dishes as the help cleared tables was very annoying. Food was very nice.
Food came out cold. Sent back
Service a little slow. Hadn’t eaten there in a while. Thought it used to be better
Great place anytime, we especially love the brunch. Great Service, Menu Choices and Cocktails!
Celebrating my friends 3 year sober. Had an wonderful dinner with great company and excellent service. The seafood special was delicious and the chocolate cake is to die for. Joe (our server) even brought out the cake with a sparkler on it to help us celebrate.
