Vic & Angelo's - Delray Beach
We have traveled the world looking for the greatest dishes and finest ingredients. We take pride in only importing the freshest products and ingredients for our culinary delights. Our sauces are made with San Marzano tomatoes imported from directly from Naples and our pizza dough contains water imported from New York.
Each of our signature Italian dishes are created in house, using traditional cooking methods practiced by Italians for countless generations. We even hand-make our pasta, mozzarella and sausage!
Our atmosphere is warm and friendly, yet elegant and refined. We believe in the traditional Italian dinner, where everyone comes together to feast. So we invite our guests to sit down, relax, and enjoy their food and conversation with family and friends.
Sunday brunch was delicious, the service was superior, and the overall dining experience was a 10 out of 10. Would highly recommend this local downtown Delray Beach restaurant for Sunday brunch when you want to enjoy the company of your dining mates.
Great menu and food was well prepared, and even though we were eating around 10 pm, never felt rushed or in the way as some restaurants do when the evening starts getting late.
Amazing food, amazing drinks.... however the service was slloooowww. Don’t be in a rush to go anywhere after
This is the second trip to Vic & Angelo's in the recent time period. The service is awful. They try to me nice...but they assign the waitress tables all over the restaurant...so the service follow up is terrible. Every time you ask the waitress for anything...it took so long for her to come back to us.
The noise level is absolutely awful and it is difficult to carry on a conversation. The food is very good but not up to the value for the price level. There are much better Italian restaurants in the area.
tried something new but it was just pasta swimming in sauce and not really great. suprised but overall not a great meal.
AMAZING Food and service! Brittany was our server and she was excellent!! This is a must every time we visit Delray
Great always great food
It was terrific, food was perfect and sitting outside and people watching made the night exceptional!!
My dining experience was lovely! Our server was attentive and the food was amazing, as always. Vic & Angelo’s never disappoints!
Decent food, attentive owner but aloof server. He never offered bread while every other table had it. Looked away while talking to us or is talking to him. He ruined our experience.
The service was nonexistent; it was not that busy and we did not get attention when needed from our server. Needed water, napkins, bread....
Our server, Debbie, was a treasure. The food was very good. My husband had the veal stuffed homemade ravioli & I had the homemade pear & cheese stuffed tortellini with truffle sauce. Both dishes were amazing. Now, the major complaint: the prices of their drinks (including soft drinks) are beyond ridiculous! A tiny 8oz bottle of coke (no fountain drinks & no brewed ice tea) is $3.50....yes only 8oz, no not as much as a can. Domestic drafts? $10-$11 each. I mean really?!?! Charge more for your food if you need to, but be realistic on your drink prices!
Oh & they don’t have drink pricing on the menu so it’s SURPRISE when you get your bill! So basically, hubby & I drank an entree of Diet Coke. We won’t go back there, just because of their sneaky way of making money.
We are pretty sure part of their AC system was not working Saturday night! All the doors and windows were open and it was a little too warm for a comfortable evening! It would have been proper for management to communicate that up front to their guests! The food was very good but the service was a little slow. The kitchen seemed overwhelmed.
Good thought but they don't get there. Mahi Mahi dish was good. My specialty dinner, Fruitti de Mare was way overpriced for what it was. Rubbery over cooked lobster, tiny mussels and clams, one or two pieces of squid. Fra Diavolo sauce also good. For $42.00 they should have and could have done better. Typical overpriced Downtown Delray fare. Table service was very good. Too many TV's going. This is not a sports bar guys...! I wouldn't go back or recommend.
The place has gone way down hill. The waiter couldn't get my wife's meal right. She told him NO Onions on the salad and dressing on the side. It came out with Onions and dressing. She ordered tuna "PLAIN' and medium well. The first time it came out RARE. She sent it back and it came out with some kind of sauce on it. She couldn't eat it. The manager took her Tuna off the bill. He should have comped the whole bill. We will never return.
The waiter was very rude. The price of the food and drinks was definitely not worth it. I had her such good things about the restaurant but I wound not go back. The food was good but not worth the price. Ten dollars for a side of Brussels sprouts that were flavorless and fourteen dollars for a sangria that had barely any alcohol in it. Overpriced.
Our server G made our dining experience extra special! Hope to see G again when we return soon.
We went there to celebrate my daughters 21st birthday. The food was actually quite good and the drinks were good. The service was dreadful. Our sever Matt just kept disappearing. He took our drinks order and ran before we could get any appetizers in. We waited 20 minutes before I went looking for him. I had to go looking for him several times to order each course. At one point he said he would move some glasses and plates off our table as there were several and it was very cluttered. Someone he knew came into the restaurant at that point and he moved away excitedly to chat to them taking just one glass with him. We moved the excess ourselves to an empty table beside us. He brought us plates for our pizza, they were soaking wet from the dishwasher, there's no way you would have put your food on them. We asked him to change them, he did but the ones he brought back were also a little wet! Really! When the lady came to clear our appetizer plates she left our dirty cutlery on the table, thats a pet peeve of mine. We were just given no attention whatsoever. Our meals were dumped on the table, nobody came back to check if everything was ok or we needed anything. I had to go and find salt and pepper myself from the hostess. The food was not amazing but it was good. It's not cheap. Almost $350 (which we have no hesitation paying when we get good food and service) including the 20% service charge which they definitely didn't deserve but at that point we just wanted to leave. I wouldn't recommend it because when you get service like this it definitely causes annoyance and takes away from the pleasure of the evening. We just felt like he thought he was doing us a favor serving us and we were bothering him! Terrible service. I don't know if he had too many tables and was overstretched or if he was just out the back or what! There did seem to be a lot of staff though, I spoke with several of him when I was trying to find him. Disappointing.
Our server was not very good and both of our meals were very bland. I expect more from Vic & Angelos.
It was an ok meal. It was a rainy day so the plastic was down outside making it VERY cramped. The pizza came out cold but we ate it. It was so much better when I reheated it at home. The chicken parm was good. Not sure if I would recommend it.
Vic & Angelo’s is always a delight and they take such good care of their customers. Our server was very energetic and lovely and we had a great birthday brunch for my dad.
The food presentation and taste was wonderful. Unfortunately, it was so loud conversation was difficult.
Very mediocre and substantially reduced menu under new ownership.
We had 3 wait staff helping our table. They were all awesome. They were all attentive but they never rushed us or made us feel like we needed to move along. That's atypical for a Saturday night in Delray. The food was fresh and delicious as always. We were celebrating college graduates and ordered the cotton candy dessert. It was studpendous! We also loved the banana cream pie, a special the night we dined. Overall Vic and Angelo's is a great spot to enjoy fresh, well made Italian food alongside great service. Always a winner.
Meals were not that great. One entree was taken off the bill- which I appreciate
We had outside seating and great service and great food!! We
Waitress was awesome. Food great and it’s fun when the train goes by.
Very nice and the ravioli filled with veal was great!
Parking a problem.
No soup on menu.
Some desserts not available
First time there. Maybe it was because of Memorial Day holiday but service was awful. Seated for 30 minutes before a waiter appeared. Drinks took another 20 minutes. Dinner was served 60 minutes after order was placed. Nothing like poor service and being surrounded by other unhappy customers to ruin the atmosphere.
It was a disaster from start to finish. Not even sure where to begin. Server looked dirty and unprofessional, nothing arrived timely, some of our food didn’t even arrive until others were finished eating, plates were filthy and were left on our table the entire time, staff unfriendly, restaurant was sweltering hot, etc. I would never eat here again, and neither would the others in my party.
For the past 5 years this has been my favorite restaurant but the last few times have been very disappointing from them being out of popular dishes to poor service . This last time all of the searing was open air and it was HOT! Additionally, it was so noisy we couldn’t even hear ourselves and our friends talking. I will think twice before going again during the summer or hot months for sure .
Its was my Husbands Birthday and we enjoyed our appetizer which came right way ,but after that I think
the kitchen lost our order, when we finally got it was very good. They gave us a cappuccino for waiting so long we would go back again
Always a very pleasurable experience at Vic & Angelo's. We prefer out door dinning, so we are always accommodated. The food and service are wonderful. Atlantic Ave offers a certain ombiance unlike most.
I highly recommend.
Food and service we’re phenomenal!! We really enjoyed!!
overall not as good as it’s ever been. service was so bad, waitress was rude and didn’t bring us drinks until after appetizer came. Food was unimpressive. Ordered appetizers while waiting for drinks and by the time we finished the apps we decided we would rather go get ice cream and save money.
used 2 b my favorite restaurant
App allowed us to make reservations , when we arrived the sign on door said they don’t open til 3pm. Very disappointed , lunch was to celebrate my daughters High School graduation !
Great food and great friends
Baby friendly and truly amazing staff and food is delicious Everytime!
Thanks so much again!
Las mesas y las sillas están muy sucias, el servidor demorado,
