Vic & Angelo's - Delray Beach
We have traveled the world looking for the greatest dishes and finest ingredients. We take pride in only importing the freshest products and ingredients for our culinary delights. Our sauces are made with San Marzano tomatoes imported from directly from Naples and our pizza dough contains water imported from New York.
Each of our signature Italian dishes are created in house, using traditional cooking methods practiced by Italians for countless generations. We even hand-make our pasta, mozzarella and sausage!
Our atmosphere is warm and friendly, yet elegant and refined. We believe in the traditional Italian dinner, where everyone comes together to feast. So we invite our guests to sit down, relax, and enjoy their food and conversation with family and friends.
Maine Lobster, Creamy Lobster Bisque
Romaine, Pepperoncini, Egg, Cherry Tomato, Red Onion, Cucumber, Cannellini Beans, Red Wine Vinaigrette
Fried Eggplant, San Marzano, Parmigiano, Mozzarella, Fresh Basil, Topped with Ricotta Cheese
Server was very accommodating
Absolutely amazing food, atmosphere and service! Our server”G” he goes by, was so great!
We started with calamari, excellent! Then we had an Angelo salad, also excellent! We finished with a Parmigiana pizza, the best we’ve had in a long time! I highly recommend Vic and Angelo’s. The only minor turn off were the people that bussed the table. They were efficient, but they spoke no English. When we needed a refill of water and we wanted our salad plates removed, they simply didn’t understand our request. Maybe the restaurant doesn’t interview people before hiring or maybe I just don’t speak their language. It was annoying.
I had surprised my daughter for her Birthday and after being there from 7:30 at 10:30 they kicked us out.Disappointed since I spent over 500 $$$$
The food was great, Beet salad is killer. Tortellini with pear and ricotta chees in Truffle creme sauce is to die for. The only drawback is the Bright line train is directly next to the restaurant so it can nie rather annoying with the repeated blaring of there train horn as it goes thru the intersection
Pasta was terrible, sauce was watery.
Are we were initially seated on the sidewalk, but the traffic and noise was so overwhelming we had to move to an interior table. The wait staff seem to be a little overwhelmed but very polite. Food was excellent basic northern Italian cuisine. Portions were large.
We were visiting from Toronto and chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. The food was delicious! Service was amazing and such a great atmosphere. Sat outside on the patio and really enjoyed ourselves!
Our table we booked they didn’t have. Shoved us an extra seat at a table near the kitchen. Food was not as good as normal. Loud. Felt very rushed.
Was our favorite spot . Last night food took over an hour to come out . They kept blaming it on the kitchen but all the tables around us had there meals. Plus once it came out it was cold !
Didn't know what to expect from an Italian restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner and what a great surprize Vic & Angelo's was! We chose to sit outside and the service was supberb. You could tell the staff was managed well as the "team" service was excellent as was the turkey dinner. I guess when you have a great staff and mangement, you can just run a great restaurant with whatever you serve. Thank You
Marvelous and delicious
Well paced and nice presentation.
The turkey and dressing were quite good but the absence of any cranberry sauce/ relish was notable.
The pumpkin cheesecake dessert was amazing’
All four us were quite pleased !
It's hard to understand who's eating at Vic & Angelo's and why. The place was packed on a Wednesday night with what seemed like mostly tourists. Do local concierges get a kickback for recommending this place? Does the appearance of a crowd draw more crowds? Or are there not enough good places to eat in Delray Beach? I don't know, but here's what I found there: loud and noisy, poor service, and mediocre food.
The "normal" decibel level was very high, but that wasn't enough. A musician playing to the outdoor tables was loud enough that it made it difficult to have a conversation indoors. And get this--it's located right next to train tracks, and our dinner was interrupted 4 times by speeding trains rumbling past, one for about 5 minutes!
The server was clueless. Took our simple 2-drink order and got it wrong 3 times. After the 2nd time I suggested she write it down but she insisted she could remember. Nope! We finally flagged down a manager who apologized and became our server for the rest of the night.
With a little work the food could be worthwhile. The Branzino was pretty good and the lasagna was at least edible, although loaded with salt. But by the time the food arrived (we had been waiting for about 45 minutes) we really just wanted to eat and get the heck out of there.
There are so many better choices for Italian food in the Delray Beach/Atlantic Avenue area it's hard to understand why people choose this one. We won't be back anytime soon.
Our waitress was very friendly and explained things clearly. The food was and has always been great! We really enjoyed your experience and would definitely recommend.
We dine at Vic & Angelo’s frequently. We all enjoyed our entrees( chicken park, Bronzino with grilled vegetables). Portion sizes are large. Food is tasty. We secured the last outdoor table at 6 pm, as the place was packed. The only part of our dining experience that was subpar was our inattentive server. Once he took our order, he never came back until he had to deliver the check. We’re definitely had much better servers here which has enhanced our dining experience in the past.
Great food and service … super baked Italian chicken wings
We heard great reviews and ranked high on trip advisor. It was very expensive and that was our fault for not knowing what to order for a reasonably priced dinner. Pinot Grigio was $45 bottle you can buy for $9 at bottle king and it was average at best. Old Fashion was very good but my wife didn’t enjoy her martini. Fried Calamari was not good not fresh large rings and very chewy - won’t order that again. The Caesar Salad was also not fresh, soggy and overly dressing. Anchovies came on the side in a tin of oil - won’t order that again. We went for the Seafood Pasta special and should have asked the price $48 and it was above average. Wouldn’t order again as the clams were ranked, calamari chewy, shrimp and small piece of lobster tail and I mean tiny. The pasta and sauce was pretty good. If we try again, we will stick to basic Italian dishes like chicken parm, pizza, pasta etc and not seafood.
Brought friends that were never there. They really enjoyed the place and the food.
Was on vacation stopped here for dinner with my wife and the service and the food was amazing. We will definitely come back
The service and the food are excellent. I recommend the tortellini with the pear truffle cream sauce, add some spicy italian sausage if you want to eat it right 👌🏼
Fantastic meal & service. Will definitely be back.
Great Delray Beach Italian restaurant. Great menu selection, nice outdoor seating area, nice service. Looking forward to returning.
The food was the star of the evening. We had and enjoyed salmon, clams Branzino and Eggplant dishes. Each was better than the other. We ate outside and though enjoyable was a bit noisy. I would recommend to all who like good food and an overall great restaurant.
Amazing food and service!
Service was great. Food was good but not great. Ambience was nice. Price is really expensive. $440 for four adults included dinner without appetizers and three house wines.
Very pleasant experience. Our waiter was very attentive and very friendly!
Appetizers and Entrees were excellent. Desert was disappointing
Atmosphere was great with the outdoor seating. Service was excellent, as was the food. Will definitely be back. Best Italian restaurant in the Atlantic Avenue area.
We enjoyed at delicious dinner at a perfect outside table.
Christina was our waitress and made our experience very special.
Look forward to returning soon.
wonderful waitress excellent management and yummy octopus
The food and service were great! I would recommend this restaurant to all my friends.
The Veal Milanese was to die for!!
Food was amazing
Love this restaurant, and sad to see the Palm Beach Gardens one closed. However, we went to Delray simply for our favorite meals. Anyhow, all would be 5 stars except for this particular server. The server had our drink order on the tray and walked right past our table had had a conversation at another table for several minutes; with guests breathing over the drinks (a martini and glass of wine) as well as the trainee alongside. I had to wave over the server who seemed not to pleased that I did; I explained with covid and all that others shouldn't be breathing over the drinks. Then, when I received the wine, there was a black bug floating in it! Not goo, for $14 a glass! I gave it back and requested a martini. All that being said, the meal was very good and we are just considering this a hiccup, as we have been a Vic & Angelo patron for 5 years, and this was the first time anything like that ever happened.
Great people and environment
Everything was perfect
Great Food with GF options and the have outside seating.
My sons 14th Birthday. Server went out of his way to make him feel special and we really appreciated it. Great night.
Always so enjoyable to eat at Vic and Angelo’s. Food and service is very good, lots of good energy and great location. Pizza is soooo good !
Delicious food but service wasn't that good
