Vic & Angelo's - Delray Beach
We have traveled the world looking for the greatest dishes and finest ingredients. We take pride in only importing the freshest products and ingredients for our culinary delights. Our sauces are made with San Marzano tomatoes imported from directly from Naples and our pizza dough contains water imported from New York.
Each of our signature Italian dishes are created in house, using traditional cooking methods practiced by Italians for countless generations. We even hand-make our pasta, mozzarella and sausage!
Our atmosphere is warm and friendly, yet elegant and refined. We believe in the traditional Italian dinner, where everyone comes together to feast. So we invite our guests to sit down, relax, and enjoy their food and conversation with family and friends.

Horrible service. Everything screwed up. Didn’t get food for 50 minutes and the last two meals were served 10 minutes after our other friends got theirs.
Our server Danielle was absolutely wonderful. She was very personable and attentive and a huge reason why we are definitely returning. The food was delicious and the restaurant itself was beautiful
Group get together for the tennis tournament
Food is real Italian —the way you would expect it to be! Loved it!
Terrible service. It took way too long for the food and e manager didn’t do much to encourage us to return to the restaurant in the future.
I have dined here many times and very much enjoy this restaurant. I made my reservation several weeks ago and requested an outdoor table. When I arrived the hostesses told me there were no outdoor tables available. When I mentioned that I had requested one, they looked at me and shrugged. My party was seated indoors even though I could see several tables available outdoors. I found the hostesses to be rude and unaccommodating. My server was excellent and the food, as usual, was very good.
Good for family meal with small kids.
Good Italian food
This is not the place for conversation. The noise level added with the trains makes being there very uncomfortable. The service was erratic as we waited over 10 minutes for water and 25 or so for drinks. They disappeared and left plates on table for awhile until prompted to move it.
The rigatoni vodka was really good as well as the veal chop Milanese.
Great happy hour. If you are seated and order by 5 everything is 1/2 price. At the bar happy hour lasts until 7
We were wonderfully surprised as to the quality and taste of our food and quick preparation since it was very busy evening. Waiter was good but busy and his helper too busy with others. The salmon and the Mott pizza are highly recommended! Outside seating on the side was perfect so you weren’t next to the sidewalk traffic.
Great atmosphere and food choice,
Need to be sure the spoon decor stays on the wall...
Four of us had an early dinner at Vic and Angelo’s in between tennis matches at the Delray Beach Open. We were given our choice of outdoor tables and sat where Happy Hour pricing was available. Wine and entree prices on the Happy Hour menu were tremendous values but at full price, I would give the value 3 stars. Gabe provided exceptional service throughout the meal and our table on Atlantic by the railroad tracks was great for people and dog watching. I would highly recommend going during Happy Hour (check their website for timing) and asking for Gabe.
Vacation meal was very good !
All was good. The only problem was that even though when we made the reservation on Open Table, it specially asks one to choose a “special”. We chose the 50% happy hour menu. It further allowed us to reserve an outdoor table.
When we actually arrived, the hostess informed us that there is no 50% off happy hour menu at the outside tables. She indicated that we would have to sit at the bar for the happy hour menu.
It would be good if the reservation options clearly either include the happy hour menu but clearly states it only applies in the bar or if that option which is offered when making the reservation excludes selecting outdoor seating. Basically, reservation and the actual situation should match.
We will go back, but would like to know that when we make a reservation through Open Table that ... what we reserve is what we get.
I would like add that we did not complain to the manager. But, through this and previous visits, when we interacted with the manager, we were always pleased. We can say without reservation that he is very attentive and truly and genuinely a nice guy.
One of our favorite places to get great pizza and a nice bottle of wine in a great atmosphere with good service.
Open Table sent confirmation for my party of 8 for outside dining as I requested.
When we arrived we were seated or rather squashed inside at a very noisy table.
Manager said that open table should not have confirmed my outside reservation.
It was very embarrassing as I had promised my out of town guests a feeling of the dining scene on Atlantic Ave.
The food was very heavily sauced and overly rich. Wines are outrageously overpriced.
Very good Italian food. It was very noisy i side- sit outside if you can. Good service.
I took friends from up North and they loved the place. It was noisy, but we knew it would be crowded on a Saturday night in Season. Make your reservations more than a week in advance. The food was excellent. We adored our waiter Mr. G. Despite the crowd, he was friendly and on top of everything.
A great Happy Hour not just for drinks but food pricing as well! And it lasted from 3-7 PM on a Saturday. My wife and I were spending the night in Delray, which prompted us to try Vic & Angelo's but we are not so far away that we wouldn't go back.
My first time to your restaurant. It was Valentine’s Day. The service was very bad. We sat at our table for 10 minutes before anyone came over to serve us. The tables were so closed together that the servers were constantly bumping into our table and chairs. At one point I had a severe rear end on my table. The entire experience was horrible. While the food was good it’s not the type of restaurant to take a date. The crab appetizer was not lump back fun crab at all. It was shredded cheap crab meat. The eggplant parmigiana appetizer was spectacular but not good enough to put up with the poor service and loud noise. It’s really too bad because the food was good but service and very very loud noise was just too much.
Great food as always but packing them in tight . Waiters running by bumping into you while you eat was a little annoying.
Outstanding greeting from Doug (General Manager), welcoming my fiancé and me to the restaurant. Additionally, the chef stopped by our table, offering up an off-menu special appetizer that was so delicious. The meals are tremendous, more than enough for two and the food, service and atmosphere was tops.
We have been going to this restaurant for years and it just isn’t the same anymore. The past several times service is horrible, either forget to come to the table or mess up our order. Food is mediocre. There are better places right on the avenue.
Staff was attentive. Great lunch menu options. Food was tasty- bread amazing, calamari was good, four cheese pear was tasty & steak was good. Will definitely return.
Service was spotty at best.
One of our favorite places we’ve been there twonights in a row!
Pizza is not crispy enough for our liking. Salad and dessert were very good.
Parking is difficult. Try and use valet.
lively atmosphere, people watching busy busy place on a tuesday night. Service and food was a little on the slow side, had to ask another server to send over someone to get a refill on our drinks. Seemed like our waitress was overwhelmed. Eventually ordered from a manager or owner. food took a long time however was good. Atlantic Ave is a busy place i guess it comes with the territory. Overall nice evening.
We love Vick and Angela so much we went to days in a row!
So disappointed this time . Going there for years & loved it but not this time. Poor service. Spaghetti & meatballs luke warm and hardly any spaghetti. Spaghetti clams no flavor . Pepperoni pizza Usually our favorite was weak. Super cheesy barely any sauce. Ice tea like water Till manager came and brought a bottle. Is there a new chef? Bad experience. Will not be returning. Looked like they were very short on help .
Good food and plentiful. Just very noisy and full of dogs both inside and outside and that is unsanitary, annoying and inappropriate. Server was good at the beginning and then disappeared. It took almost 15 to get and pay check. An unfortunate end to an otherwise pretty good lunch.
I requested an inside table and was seated outside. We were and next to the bar area where many were smoking without consideration of those trying to enjoy a special night out. Although I complained to the hostess, my concerns meant nothing. The food was good, however, I had to take it home to enjoy. So much for a special night.
Nice place, modern vibe, very loud, food just ok, server was very nice.
The food was fabulous. We loved our server, Chip. The restaurant is lovely but the noise level made it difficult to hear each other. We were having a once a year reunion and missed half the conversation! I’d go back during the week, perhaps, not Saturday evening.
Waited an hour for appetizers.....had to scream to have a discussion....waiter was overworked and did not pay attention unless we stopped him for something
Great waiter, great food, great service...but a little too loud, especially when the train whizzed by.
Food was fantastic and ambience superb. However, our service, tonight, that was the problem. Our waiter (Chip) & his assistant (un-named) were not evenly concerned about our meager two-top table versus the large and profitable eight-top table next to us. Our bill was a paltry $127.00 for 2, clearly nowhere near the tip opportunity at the table next to us. We had to ask for everything throughout the meal, including more water, another serving of bread (which was ultimately delivered burnt and charred) and finally, the real kicker, we had to interrupt the team’s various activities to ask if we could place our order. Hurriedly he took our order which seemed to annoy him. Honestly, I would have let all this go and "chocked" it up to a strange evening out, doesn't everyone have an "off" night. However, what made me angry was how the “un-named” assistant confronted me when I was trying to leave. He was very angry that I only tipped what the service was worth which was $10. He said, “what is this?” I told him that the service deserved a ten-dollar tip, there was nothing exceptional, plus we felt slighted with the bulk of their attention being paid to other guests. He stood in front of me keeping me from leaving. He said, “it was he and his partner that served us”. I then explained “it made no difference. They were so focused on other duties that we felt like we were not a priority”. Finally, with his arms in the air, he reluctantly allowed passage. On the way out, the manager, who was a true professional and engaged, asked how things were tonight. I shared with him this story. Definitely visit Vic & Angelo’s but be sure and ask for servers that care about your overall experience.
Pizza was mediocre noise level horrible not worth returning to
There were seven of us and were expecting to make it to happy hour but missed it by a few minutes but our waiter was so generous! He gave us the happy hour drinks and menu prices! The atmosphere was fun with lots of good people watching. We ordered everything! The Caesar salad was crisp and tasty, the eggplant parm was to die for and the octopus was devoured. We especially liked the added potatoes on the tray. We ordered two pizzas, both excellent, and the caprese salad was enough to satisfy our whole group. We will definitely be back!
