Also available is weekly curbside market: Farm fresh seasonal veggies, fruits, locally-grown flower bouquets, an array of larder items including homemade pickles, soup, bread, local honey, homemade cookies and more!


Vestige is located in the heart of beautiful and historic downtown Ocean Springs, MS.

Our menu changes often to reflect seasonality, locality, and sustainability, as well as things that inspire us daily (nature, plants, art, Japan.) We strive to cook from scratch (with love) in our tiny kitchen, including our homemade bread.
Enjoy our artisanal cocktails, some wine, or local/ regional craft beers with your dinner too.

Currently running a set menu, perhaps for Covid crisis, that is very reasonable at 62 dollars. There was good distancing inside, although when we walked in there were people crowding the host stand that were not wearing masks. The server was extremely pleasant and helpful, if a little flustered. The first course was a cheese and squash soup that tasted like the sauce you make out of a box of Mac and cheese. I like Mac and cheese. The second course was an extremely bizarre plating of beets and turnips under a poof of pureed Japanese sweet potato. It needed acid and texture, maybe something green. There was a very nicely prepared steak course that just needed a pinch of salt. I think the best thing I ate was a sweet potato biscuit with miso butter, it was delicious. Probably will not go back but I'm happy we tried it out.

We recently moved from Cincinnati to Ocean Springs - a decent sized midwestern city to a nice little southern town. And it would seem that one of the biggest changes would be the food scene; happily that isn't something that is compromised here and the best representative of that is Vestige.

Just off the busy Government Avenue (site of shopping and other eateries) Vestige is a cute restaurant that could seat (especially in these COVID times) at most 20 guests across a half dozen tables. The interior is basic, perhaps even sparse: white linens and a few prints grace the wall; with a generally quiet ambiance.

We came for dinner the first night after they reopened after Hurricane Zeta, so the menu was a four-course prix fixe with but a single decision between desserts. Starting with a pumpkin cheese soup with pork cheek - a fantastically savory dish, with the locally made cheese artfully blended into the light, frothy soup and large pieces of pork cheek hiding below. The second course: red snapper with puree of white sweet potato and chioggia beets. And rounding out the savories, hanger steak with oyster mushrooms and venison-black truffle jus. The above accompanied with soft buttermilk bread, ready to absorb any bits of soup of drippings that survive.

Dinner ended with a choice between chai Bavarian with miso butterscotch with heritage caramel popcorns; or a read velvet cake with black sesame oil.

The chef and his staff at Vestige punch far above their weight in terms of the quality and complexity of dishes you would expect to find in such a small, out-of-the-way venue. We had visited Vestige previously in March when they were serving an ala carte menu, and had a wonderful meal then.

The blending of southern ingredients and Asian tastes work quite well together. The abundance of local seafood and agricultural ingredients and an talented chef result in an easy excuse for the fifteen minute detour off I.10 when you happen to be traveling to NOLA or Mobile.

I’m not sure if they were just overbooked but it took us an hour just to get the first course of the same tasting menu everyone else was eating. There was only 1 server for the whole restaurant and he was also hosting. He did the best he could Food was great just very small portions, but I would go back.

We had a wonderful experience last Saturday night, 9/19/20. The service was awesome, this young man ran the whole restaurant and gave us impeccable service! Did not miss a beat! And on top, the food was fabulous! All our food was cooked to perfection and had wonderful flavors. I highly recommend it!

As usual, Vestige was the highlight of our time in the Blioxi/Ocean Springs area. Absolutely stellar in every regard— the only regret was not dining there our second night, as it's an impossible act to follow.

We loved tonight! We made our reservation for 5pm and we were the first one there. It was a wonderful experience! Each course was delightful! My wife and I would order opposite of each other from the tasting menu and share, so we can try everything that was prepared by the chef. Each dish’s taste profile was delicious! The flavors would tell a story as they ran through each dish! It’s farm to table ingredients and well prepared! Nothing was left on the dishes and we left satisfied. Highly recommend!

Vestige was very proactive and called prior to our reservation letting us know that due to Covid-19, they were only serving a 4 course tasting menu. I had already saw this online, but really appreciated the call.

The attention to detail and great experience continued as we arrived at the restaurant and enjoyed our meal. The tasting menu didn’t disappoint - the flavors of each dish were so well thought out and the courses progressed well. The meal was satisfying without being too much. Considering the quality and amount of food, the tasting menu was very appropriately priced. I would definitely recommend trying this Ocean Springs gem! Thanks Vestige for a great dining experience - service, food and ambience were all on point!

Extraordinary in every way. The best restaurant in Mississippi and the Gulf Coast. I’m a food traveler who dined at 100+ Michelin starred restaurants every year and this would be worthy. Must fine if you’re a foodie. Tasting menu only now and I couldn’t be happier!

As always, it was perfect. The food was delicious, and the service was exactly how you want it to be, friendly, helpful and unobtrusive. It was a set menu Friday night, so no choices. I probably wouldn’t have selected each dish from a menu, but each dish was excellent. I’m glad to have tried them, and I would order them again.

The taste of the food was phenomenal. Presentation was flawless. Service impeccable. I’ve wanted to try this restaurant for a while and finally made time to do it...they did not disappoint. Flavors and pairings I couldn’t have imagined on my best day ever. My wife and I will DEFINITELY be back and I will try to bring more people with me because everyone should be able to experience this jewel of a restaurant. Fine dining done right. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

The food was really delicious. We ordered the oysters, fish special and the steak and all were incredible. The service was good especially considering one server was doing everything but he made it work and we really enjoyed our evening.

The service was great and ambience wonderful. Perhaps are expectations were too high as this place was recommended to us by a local. We ordered the octopus as an appetizer then the shrimp and vegetables for my main dish and my husband had the fresh catch special which was the red snapper. The octopus was tiny but tasteful maybe 2 small bites each. My main dish had barely any vegetables and a few shrimp.My husbands red snapper was a decent portion but was not seasoned. We live near Destin and are accustomed to wonderful gulf coast seafood and with many fine restaurants. I don’t mind paying for higher quality fare however I was sadly disappointed with our food experience at this restaurant. The best part was the homemade fresh bread.

Stellar meal. Our party had a fish entree, steak entree, and shrimp entree. All three dishes were perfectly prepared and each had a special twist or addition making it unique. Service was perfect! Entire experience was wonderful! If you’re in Ocean Springs make sure you plan to visit Vestige!

Service and atmosphere were marvelous. The real misses were the pimento cheese and pickled shrimp also the chicken liver pate. The pate was very sweet and the texture was too thin for my taste. All we could taste was the very sweet jam like topping. I will definitely dine their again. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

WOW...fantastic dining experience. The corn bisque, kale salad, oxtail dumplings, pork loin, crab croquettes and dessert were incredible as was the service. RUN don't walk to this hidden gem!

Food, service and setting excellent. Can thoroughly recommend the heirloom tomatoes with okra two ways;foie gras; veal. Menu is relatively small, but that ensures quality. We will definitely be returning.
