    We grabbed lunch while vacationing with a 1 p.m. reservation on a Tuesday. The view was spectacular, and the booth seating was comfortable. I could tell the servers were struggling, but not for a lack of trying. When our waitress got to us, we asked for water and ordered our appetizer. The appetizer came before we had plates or water brought to the table, so things were just awkward. My salmon was meh, and the carne asada tacos were good, but my husband said there were just too many pinto beans on the tacos. Maybe go for the incredible views and grab a drink while they are slow.

    Food was excellent, my only complaint is we had to flag down our server every time for a refill on bottomless mimosas they need more staff or just leave the champagne bottle at table it didn’t feel like bottomless on how many times we had to track someone down for a refill

    Oyster shooters need some work. Benedict was dry. Requested window booth there were two open but the kid who sat us said no.

    The Sunday brunch at Ventana Grill is awesome. From the bloody Mary and mimosas with various juices to all of the great food it is worth the price. The view of the ocean is great and there are lots of food choices. My favorites are the crab legs, peel and eat shrimp, omlette bar, Mexican food with homemade tortillas and the waffles with strawberries and whipped cream.

    I love Ventana. I just think some things were overlooked. We got there right at opening because I know they fill up quickly so I think they were still preparing some items. We were the only ones there and my cocktail and the soup starter took a bit (I was probably just hungry lol). Service was great- very attentive. Food was delicious. View was amazing and we were sat right by the window. Our table and the ledges were not wiped down. Other than that it was great.

    Salmon was bland; pozole not very good and was ordered first and came out at end of meal. Should not have been charged for it

    Our table had an absolutely beautiful view. Loved looking at the Pacific Ocean and the many pelicans flying nearby. Our waiter, Dan, was excellent We will definitely see y"all again soon!

    Our server, Alyssa, was just fabulous, attentive and friendly. 3 out of 4 of us ordered the Halibut, 2 from the menu and 1 from the Halibut Special. All 3 halibuts were quite dry. Not good.
