Our food ticket got lost and we were there about 2.5 hours and that waiter failed to follow up on our order.
Fabulous restaurant week menu, service, and ambience.
We were EXTREMELY disappointed. At first our waiter was very cordial. Once we asked for the Restaurant Week menu it was as if he became a different person. He was curt and the service became miserable. We had to wait for an hour for mediocre food. I would NEVER go back.
We haven't been to Venice in awhile, but went the other night on Denver Restaurant Week's menu and enjoyed it very much. The service has greatly improved from the past and the food (as always) was foodie quality great.
We ate here for restaurant week. The food was excellent and it was very busy. The wait times were what we expected but the waiters kept the drinks and bread flowing. We were not rushed to order and were not rushed between courses. Only $25 each for a 3 course meal.
Food doesn't seem as good, had the veal dish with artichoke hearts etc. The sauce was excellent, the veal was tough which we had 2 orders, there were 2 mouthfuls ONLY of angel hair pasta with it. Not impressed. The ricotta cheesecake is no longer on the menu which was outstanding, haven't been in awhile, but wasn't impressed so if I need Italian, I will have to try other places. Husband had the seafood with the ink papperdella which was excellent. Risotta dish was good,
Denver Restaurant Week special was EXCELLENT, but we had to ask for it rather than have it offered. Otherwise, great meal
Two dinners were served cool and had to be returned
I ordered a salad from the weekly specials menu and it was a delicious sculpture within a ring of thinly sliced cucumber filed with greens, red pear ,blue cheese and toasted walnuts, well done! The rest of our lunch was great!
The food was wonderful as always. The bread baskets are the best ever! Service was extremely slow for being first customers of the day at lunch time but we wanted time to talk so we dealt with it. I will mention the chef needs to clean up the service plates/bowls before sending them out to the table. The rim of my huge white bowl of minestrone had soup on the rim in several places. It should have been wiped clean in the kitchen for a better presentation. The minestrone was delicious but barely lukewarm for some reason.
A favorite for our quarterly business dinner. Always great!
Amazing food flavors. Great wine list. Delicious desserts.
We asked for a quiet table in the back room. It was perfect. Our waiter was superb. The food was outstanding. The atmosphere makes the dining experience feel special.
It was amazing!! Everything was delicious and the service was outstanding!!
As always the food and experience was great!
This is usually a go to restaurant for us with outstanding food and great service.
Sadly, the Valentine’s Day menu left much to be desired. The reduced menu had none of our favorite dishes. The dishes we did order lacked the usual flair the chef displays. Lasagne was bland, chicken dishes were unimaginative.
Service as painfully slow.
This was a total aberration and we hope they will not do this again.
First time dining here and it was a delightfully experience. Delicious food, excellent service, great wine selection. We wii definitely return.
Great atmosphere and outstanding food. Worth the price for a special occasion.
The Valentine's day special menu and food preparation and service was not up to their normal standards. The filet mignon was obviously just a piece of sirloin, tough and tastless. For an almost $200 dinner, we were extremely disappointed
Always a great dining experience, they have the service and food nailed down to perfection.
Food was very good. Like how close this is to our house.
The food portions were too small. The waiter seemed confused and smelled of alcohol. There was not many gluten free options.
The drinks were the best part.
We dined at Venice for Valentine’s Day dinner. It was phenomenal on all accounts, but that was no surprise to us. We have been to this restaurant many times, and it is consistently delicious with incredible service. We will definitely be back.
Bad experience for a special valentine dinner. Knew the Resturant would be busy but felt our table was treated poorly when other table was seated, specials overviewed and even appetizers delivered and not even a “will be right with you” comment to us.
We left before the evening could any worse.
Doubt I will try again for any special event.
Excellent service. Limited menu was disappointing but understandable. Food was good. Salads and Deserts were great.
Is there a quiet Italian restaurant anywhere? Lol
It was so chaotic and the manager was visibly angry at the hostess and wait staff. It took 15 minutes to get our drink order taken and we were told our waiter was “stuck in traffic” (but there were many more servers there). Once we were finally assigned a waiter he was wonderful. I’m sad to say we will not be back. This used to be a local favorite.
Everything was very good except table location. We seemed to be in a high traffic area.
Have never been disappointed in our experience at Venice in Greenwood Village (haven't been to the other locations). Love the food and atmosphere, even when it's busy. The first time we went I remember thinking it felt like I was in a restaurant in Italy again. It's also been great to see the owner there every time, too. I'm sure that's just been coincidence, but it's nice to know he's involved in his establishments.
The food at Venice is excellent. Service wasn't great considering how empty the place was at lunch. I stood by the hostess stand for several minutes until I had to go find someone to seat us, and once seated the waitress wasn't quite as attentive as I would have thought. However, the busboy made up the difference and we had a wonderful lunch!
The perfect place for a romantic meal or a business lunch. Food is always outstanding and reasonably priced for the quality. The staff is exceptional at pairing your wine with your meal. They are always helpful with allergies recommendations and substitutions.
Excellent as always-the best food and service and we look forward to many more wonderful evenings at Venice!
We were a table of 4 adults seated by tables with lots of kids and the service was not what I have experienced before! They were very busy! Food was good but usually it’s great!
Everything was delicious, as always. The service is impeccable. This is a lovely restaurant!
The service, as usual, was superb. The entire wait staff could not have been more attentive. The staff cooperated fully with the delivery of flowers which had been pre-arranged with a third party. Our meals - pear salad, pan seared salmon, panzanela and Colorado lamb chops were delicious and prepared and presented perfectly. We look forward to our next visit to Venice in Greenwood Village.
Good food and very popular. Will eat there again. The tables are pretty close together and it is a bit noisy. Would recommend to others.
We are fans of your restaurant. This time, however the veal piccata was not up to par. It was quite bland lacking lemon juice and only had minimal artichoke hearts. I asked for some lemons and squeezed them on the dish which really helped. Hopefully this was a one time problem and we will not experience that again. I order this dish frequently because it is so good.
The food was excellent. The only reason I gave the service the rating that I did is because I think he was new and things kept getting messed up, but it wasn’t a problem. The food was a bit slow coming out, but we will be back. The food and the ambience made up for all the little quirks that happen.
Birthday for 91 year old mother, everyone enjoyed themselves. My sister (who works in hospitality) said it was the best sea bass she’s ever had. A little too noisy for 91 YO, though they did try to accommodate us in a back room, but with two other tables and noise coming in off the kitchen. Waiter was attentive, fun & creative (I should have tipped him more than 20%, though my sister kicked in more). Restaurant provided a birthday platter of delicious deserts. I’d say only complaint from me was my filet, since I order steak so infrequently, when I do I’d hope it would be excellent, and this was a level or two below that.
Our sever made our meal. Everyone was talking about it even days later. Thanks for making our wonderful dinner even better!
