Standing out like a fresh tattoo on a burly forearm, The Vault Restaurant serves mouth-watering martinis, delicious wines and fabulous food including Steaks, fresh Seafoods and gourmet Pastas. For those of you craving something casual we also have Burgers, Tacos and a fun kids menu.

Once inside, you will be greeted by an eclectic, lively room, a diverse menu and tantalizing cocktails, including “the best Caesar in town.” First built in 1948, The Vault retains many of its original features, including the concrete bank vault.

Outside the private vault, guests are seated in the restaurant’s lounge or dining room, surrounded by an eclectic décor, including bicycle frames, ornate mirrors and a tiki lounge! The funky style combined with live jazz or blues music and you’ve got yourself a hip and quirky restaurant, with a cool, laissez-faire vibe. The Vault’s diverse menu features Northwest cuisine, offering dishes that are simple, yet rich in flavour.

    the food is very good but the apple puree on my Bonn Schnitzel was barely enough for one piece let alone spreading it between 2 pieces. Very little Demiglace , which if my wife was having this dish , she would have been happy as she doesn't like sauces , whereas I am a big fan of sauces. so needless to say the potatoes went dry. The side of béarnaise (though flavourful) was so small it was hardly worth the effort and definitely not worth the price. To end it all the Crumble needed a full scoop of icecream , not a quarter or a third of a scoop..

    Great service, the drinks were adequate. The food was very good. We ordered Lamb Shank & Beef Short Rib they were both cooked excellent! Dessert was great whipped peanut butter pie. Our service was great ! Value was exceptional

    Always good, the Vault’s been reliably good for us. Had steak and ahi tuna and enjoyed both. Service was positive and timely. We’ll be back.

    We have had many meals at The Vault, Hawthorne, and The Washington Avenue Grill. As usual the food has always been outstanding at all their locations. This visit to the Vault was disappointing as the service was almost nonexistent. At every point of the evening we had to lswarch for our server.

    Great happy hour and main menu choices. Able to accommodate larger group seating. Love that they’ve kept the original vault and incorporated seating into it for a more private dining experience.
