Standing out like a fresh tattoo on a burly forearm, The Vault Restaurant serves mouth-watering martinis, delicious wines and fabulous food including Steaks, fresh Seafoods and gourmet Pastas. For those of you craving something casual we also have Burgers, Tacos and a fun kids menu.

Once inside, you will be greeted by an eclectic, lively room, a diverse menu and tantalizing cocktails, including “the best Caesar in town.” First built in 1948, The Vault retains many of its original features, including the concrete bank vault.

Outside the private vault, guests are seated in the restaurant’s lounge or dining room, surrounded by an eclectic décor, including bicycle frames, ornate mirrors and a tiki lounge! The funky style combined with live jazz or blues music and you’ve got yourself a hip and quirky restaurant, with a cool, laissez-faire vibe. The Vault’s diverse menu features Northwest cuisine, offering dishes that are simple, yet rich in flavour.

    The service was excellent and the cocktails were tasty. The food on the other hand was quite average. We had the Vault burger which really could have used a slice of cheddar cheese. The gouda just wasn't noticeable at all. It was just ok. Have had much more tasty burgers. We also had the cajun chicken alfredo. We get what flavour they were going for, but it tasted a bit bland. Black pepper was needed to bring up the flavour. The dessert on the other hand was really good. Do recommend the apple/pear crumble. We wanted to try out this place for a while, and now that we have it's not likely a repeat spot for us.

    We dined for Mother’s Day, was a bit too busy, great place if you go during a quiet time. A regular restaurant for us.

    The calamari was sooo good (Mother’s Day special) and the we had to get the burger in honor of my Dad, he always talked about how good the burger was and it definitely did not disappoint. Will def be returning:)

    Unfortunately our meal was almost cold when delivered. A large ceiling fan above us didn’t help. Very quickly the food was cold and not the best we have had at the restaurant. We are long time customers of The Vault and thankfully this was the first time I have felt the need to write a review that is less then complimentary. The server was excellent.

    We were there for my birthday so the birthday coupon was nice to have. The meal was delicious and it happened to be wine night. It was a quiet Tuesday evening as well. Couldn’t ask for more.

    The food was over priced for what we got. The portions were small and the meal itself was too expensive. The peanut butter pie did not have a lot of flavour to it and the portion was extremely small. Our meal came within 5 minutes of ordering. We didn't really get a chance to enjoy our drinks before the food arrived. We felt like we were being rushed out of there. We were in and out in 45 minutes. We had a dinner and a dessert. It was extremely noisy and we couldn't hear each other talk over the noice. The inside of the building itself was very unique and intriguing.
